Billy Ray has had a life filled with physical exhertion and his "Pa" makes sure he eats right and stays healthy, his build reflects that in every way.
Attitude: Billy Ray is an easy going guy with a slow temper. He is as stubborn as a mule and ten times smarter (mules are VERY intelligent). He is very loyal to his vampire family and will do anything for them, even give his life. He is new to being exposed to other people and as a result is painfully shy around them.
Abilities: He is an amazing musician, he is quite strong from a very physically challenging life and his smile could charm the pants off just about anyone. He can get sick and die like any other human and he is very, very shy around people.
History:
His name is Billy Ray Blackwell. He was adopted by the vampire who found him as the only survivor in the wreckage of a caravan when he was 4 years old. The vampire liked him because he took his fathers gun and shot at him and his posse, falling on his ass every time and ultimately breaking his arm with his last shot. When he was asked to put the dangerous weapon down so he would stop hurting himself, the child said, "I'll give up my gun when you pry it from my cold dead fingers." Only when the vampire responded with, "That can be arranged, but I would rather get you out of here and to safety." did the child lower his smoking weapon and begin to cry pitifully. The vampire took pity on him and kept him with him, raising him like a son.
Billy Ray learned very early on that Stoney didn't trust other vampires. He didn't trust anyone. No one was allowed near the black, horse drawn vehicle where "someone very special" was tucked away. Billy travelled with the vampires his entire life. He snuck a peek at Stoney's most well kept secret when he was still quite young. Stoney caught him but he didn't get angry. He merely showed him the man in the coffin and told him who he was and how special he was to him and how important it was to protect him and any cost. Billy thought he understood because he lost his parents and if he could bring them back, he would do everything possible. When he was old enough, he asked Stoney to let him be the one to feed his maker. Once every 30 days, his "Pa" (which he came to call him) let him feed him. While he wasnt the only one, he was honored to be able to help the vampire he loved like a father. Just like the rest of Stoney's posse, he came to know the treasured maker as "Grandfather."
Billy Ray learned how to sing old cowboy songs at an early age and came to love music. He learned to pick a banjo and guitar, play a fiddle and tap out a rhythm on a home made drum. The posse was big on music and the posse was Billy's family. He has been fed on by his family members on some occasions when they needed to. It was strangely arousing to him. His very first sexual encounter was with one of the posse members. It was something he was never ashamed to repeat.
When they arrived in New Vegas, Billy had been with the posse for 22 years. He could have struck out on his own but his life with the vampires was all he knew. Stoney told him he could go make it on his own or stay with them his entire life. He was not about to leave the only family he had. He stayed. He works at Stoney's place as a singer and blood slave to his Pa's maker. Now that his "Grandfather" is awake, he is a little nervous...

Rp Sample:"Pa?" Twelve year old Billy Ray asked the vampire standing next to him, "Why are they afraid of you?" He looked toward the group of people who the vampires had agreed to escort to the next sanctuary city. They were nearly to Houston. The people watched the vampires as if they were mean dogs at the end of their chains, ready to bite any moment. They kept their children close and avoided eye contact.
"Because, most humans are afraid of what they don't understand." his adopted father's rich baritone voice floated down to his delicate ears. He looked up at the man who was raising him. He was loving and kind. His smile could light up a room and his voice could make a grown man cry. How could anyone fear someone who was so good natured? It was true that the man was a little broody and talked to himself a lot but he never hurt anyone unless they tried to get to Grandfather.
Suddenly his Pa was kneeling down on the ground beside him. "Listen to me, Billy Ray." his father's face was the picture of seriousness. He nodded. "Those people are right to be afraid of us. Not all Vampires are good. Many of them would drink those people dry just to get through another few days without the hunger. Times are tough and blood is scarce anymore." he ruffled Billy Ray's hair and smiled, "You just stick with those you know and nothing bad will ever happen to you." Then his father was standing next to him again. "Besides, if anyone ever lays a finger on one of those unruly hairs of yours...I'll kill them." Then his father walked away. Billy Ray smiled. "I got your back too, Pa." he said as he turned and looked at the humans again then followed his adopted father's long strides back to the front of the caravan.
