Name: Jake Blackwell
Age: 193/ looks 20ish.
Sex: Male
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual
Species: Vampire
Physical Description:
Height : 6'1
Weight: 165 pounds
Eyes: Dark Brown
Hair: Dark Chocolate Brown, slightly wavy when long.
Attitude: Jake is quiet. Wastes no words on things that don't need to be said. Some often may think him slow or lack witted but he knows just when to speak up when amongst his brothers. His family is as important to him as God above. He was raised by a God fearing mother and father and hasn't lost those teachings. He's respectful of those that deserve his respect. Patient as the day is long and protective towards the few humans that have come through the doors of his Pa's place of business.
Abilities: All basic abilities that vampires are known for.
Weaknesses: Daylight, wooden objects through the heart, Lycan blood.. can all be quiet damaging to Jake. Unwillingness to communicate though he can speak and is smart.
He often dwells to much on the fact that his sister chose to stay human and left him even though he was there for all of her life and watched out for her till the very end.
History: 5th member of the Blackwell Posse. Often called Silent Jake as he's not one for talking much at all. He still is occasionally haunted by the Apache raid that took his family away from him and his sister. They were found and saved by Hoyt Blackwell, whom came upon the burning destruction left by the savages.
19 year old Jake had taken several arrows and a tomahawk to the back while covering his sister so the Indians wouldn't get her. Never flinching but whispering reassurances to her all the while. So that he could keep her from being kidnapped by the Apache tribe. It was how Hoyt came upon them, his keen hearing finding Jessie sobbing softly beneath her unconscious brother.
Jake was given the chance and opportunity to be healed though it would mean he had to become a vampire. Having little knowledge of what that was he accepted on the promise that nothing would harm his sister. She was only 10 years old at the time.
They lived together with Hoyt and the Posse of four other Vampires till Jessie was 20 and fell in love with a human. Jake let her go. It was the hardest thing he'd ever done in his life, but he did it with a smile and all the love he had for her. She deserved a life as normal as one could have. Her man was a good man, whom provided her with everything she could need. They had two small boys that Jake was Uncle of.
But time moves ever forward and his nephews never had a chance to make it into adulthood and provide him with more family. Jessie and Paul were taken by a drunk stage coach driver during the day. It ripped Jake's heart apart that he couldn't even save his sister and the man she loved. Fate had played her hand and while he knew that they had a good life. He regrets that they have gone on leaving him to live on.

Jake sat on the top rail of the fence looking out over the darkening landscape. The sky's above were filled with millions of stars that winked down at him. He tipped his hat to them above and continued to look out at seemingly nothing at all. Twilight was one time that he often found himself vulnerable to thinking of the past. He could see Jessie her dark hair flying, as she rode one of the horses and he encouraged her to take the barrels faster. His shoulders sank with a sigh. Long ago, but never forgotten.
Hank came up beside him and rested his hands on the rail. "Could use a hand with moving some things." His brother informed him.
Jake looked down at his brothers upturned face and nodded. Time to put the past away and work in the present. "Sure." Was all he said and jumped down next to him. They headed off together. Hank was one that never minded if Jake didn't say much. Wouldn't rib him or coax him into saying more then he wanted to. Even when he sang.. and yes he could sing like the rest of his family when called upon to entertain the crowd. He only said what he felt needed to be said.
