Genuine leather cowboy boots follow up the ensemble or the vintage black attire that Hoyt expresses they all wear.

If he thinks, you are out to hurt his family, he will be hell-bent on killing you. Protective of those he cares about he will do anything to keep them safe. He is untrusting of most women after his past. It's clear he has a reason. Billy Ray means the world to him.
Abilities: Basic abilities and a fighter, preferring his hands to shooting but can shoot when it is needed of him. Especially after he has been better trained by Hoyt in the ability. His weaknesses are just like all vampire weaknesses.
History: Times in the old west were hard and different. One minute you could be the love of someone's life the next you just weren't enough. Not of their wealth or social standing. This happened to Matthew's mother. Pregnant up at a young age by her beau. Marietta Black became the rock that supported and guided her son Matthew to be good. Raising him all alone in the wild west after she was shunned by her man for not being of proper social standing and financial station she had set out with the railroad as one of their cooks taking Matthew along with her. For a long time, he was a good kid, doing everything his mother wanted and more anything to help and keep food on the table and money in their pockets. But no matter what they did it was never really enough.
Settling in one of the farming towns alone the railroad as they sprang up. Life was good for a while. He would help his mother with the chores, and things started to get a little easier. Until Typhoid hit their town like a plague. Several people died. Marietta was one of them unable to pay for the doctors, and the medicine that she needed. Matthew was forced to watch his mother languish and finally perish. Thrown out after the passing of his mother no one wanted to take in the rebellious teen. Eventually, he took up with a gang of bad men. That Robbed and Killed even a little rape. Never one to join in on the most heinous of their acts. Some of the men started to get a little suspicious of Matthew thinking he was a sneak and turncoat.
Matthew feeling the pressure and the dark intentions snuck away from the posse and headed off to start new. Taking his portion of the cash and making a split. Finding a nice town that he wanted to settle into he got hired on by one of the local farms as a hand and began to work the fields and the cattle. Life taking a turn for the better, he met a girl. Matthew had always liked both men and women; however, he always leaned towards the male persuasion. It was hard for him in those times to be of anything he wasn't supposed to be. So when Lola came alone he was lost in a minute. She was beautiful, everything he wanted and yet still he never seemed to be enough for her. Lola knew of Matthew's secret desires, in fact, she gave him hell for it. Knowing he started to not only find his best friend Jacob attractive but secretly wanted more with him. She used this against Matthew.
While he was out working the fields, Lola and Jacob became lovers. She took him to her bed and took pleasure in knowing she would torture Matthew with the affair later. That night she had set up to tell him at the bar with all of them surrounded. She intended to make a fool out of Matthew and ruin his good ol' boy reputation. Who knows why she seemed to hate him so much perhaps she was just that mean and selfish?
Matthew had been working in the fields later that day. A couple of the cattle herders he worked with and farm hands offered him to come to the saloon with them for a drink. Lola having told him she was too busy to see him tonight. Matthew readily agreed. As they went out to have a good night on the town. Lola had ensured that Jacob would pick her up, and she too was heading out to the saloon to enjoy being Jacob's lady luck. Lola already turned Jacob against Matthew. Telling him of Matthew's private attraction to Jacob. Jacob's finding that a sin and sticking strongly to his religion then stuck to Lola and went along with her. Intending to tell his friend the next day that they were no longer friends.
As Mathew entered the Saloons with his fellow farm hands, he saw Lola draped across Jacob's lap being pawed at and happy while they played around in the saloon. Mathew struck he stood there staring as he felt himself feeling as if he was falling in a black hole. At the time, Matthew was looking at Lola and Jacob. His old gang appeared. The rage that flew into the leader's eyes at seeing the rat who had run out on them glowed with hatred. They drew their weapons. Matthew's friends drew theirs as well. As Matthew turned to draw himself. The bullets started flying. Matthew wounded fell to the floor hitting his head on a table and knocking himself out.
When he came too most were dead or wounded. Among the dead were Lola and Jacob. As the sheriff came around asking what happened. The mob was split several of the people were asked what happened or who started of them. However, the ones asked were of the higher class of patrons. When Most of the fingers pointed to Matthew as the one who started it shooting Jacob and Lola in a fit of jealousy along with his ramshackle friends. He was pronounced guilty and sentenced to a hanging.
As Matthew was dragged out to the gallows for his hanging, he was dazed. Left with the suffering from his wounds he was bleeding faster than they were hanging him. In a haze, he saw a man riding into town with his own posse. As the rope was thrown over his head and secured. The hangman pulled the release. Matthew remembered only flashes after that, of the man racing to his rescue. Shooting the rope free and pulling him from the mobs bloodthirsty grasp. The moments glinted and shifted. He tasted blood perhaps his own from his wounds and then darkness. He woke the next night asleep in a hole in the ground, and the strange man from his death gaze that saved him. This was Hoyt. Hoyt gave him the choice to stay with his posse, or go on his own way. After he was saved, he couldn't very well refuse the man who saved his life. Joining up with Hoyt's posse he came to call the man Pa and learn much from him.
Traveling constantly and keeping Hoyt's most precious secret Marcel safe. The Posse became his family, and he was happy. Never allowing himself to settle into any relationship with the slaves nothing more than his needs. As they were traveling, they ran across a goldened haired little boy defending the last of his family's things after his caravan had been killed. This was Billy Ray...
Matthew protected the boy after Hoyt adopted him. Eventually seeing him blossom into the teenager and then the young man. He started to see him in a different light, strong and vital, the very thing that had once drawn him to Jacob. Secretly harboring these feelings for Billy Ray. One night Billy Ray had been watching him feed with one of the male blood slaves when he knowingly let him watch. All the while, Matthew wished that it was Billy Ray in his embrace.
When it finally happened Matthew felt as if a dream of is had been answered. Billy Ray feels everything in his life with the sweet sunshine of the summer he used to love so much. Billy Ray means the world to him and has become his lover and best friend. Following Hoyt the one they call pa to New Vegas Matthew is one of the posse that has been allowed to reside here with Hoyt and the rest of his family.

Rp Sample: It ripped Matthew apart inside thinking of Billy Ray dying, and Hoyt's words had been heeded. He had every intention of taking the rope to the heathen who had attacked his Billy Ray. Looking at the vampire the posse held rage filled up inside of him. If Billy Ray didn't survive... well Matthew didn't want to think of that right now he couldn't it was too much. The rope shifted against his coat as he slipped it down from his shoulder careful with the gloves to keep his hands protected. Even though inside he was a raging ball of fury, he kept his words calm and collected with that smooth voice. "I'm going to enjoy this. Every single minute of it til I hear you scream for your death." Jerking the rope with a tight tinge of the silver he started to move forward so he could bind up the vampire the posse held.
Glancing to Hoyt then as he finished up the binding of the rope to the vampire. The smell of his burning flesh and the hissing of the vampire had Matthew's smile that boyish good-looking smile in pleasure. Turning to the door as the Angel entered he had watched on in anticipation of her words. Once seeing and hearing that Billy Ray was healed, he felt happy but, still worried and scared. This had been to close a lot of it had been to close, and it was time for Stoney to either let the decision be made by Billy Ray or to make it himself. Then again, perhaps he was being hasty. He would hate to take the chance for Billy Ray to lay in the sun and feel his warmth again, but he would always love him.
As he twisted another knot of the rope about the vampire's wrists, he gave it a jerk watching as a bit of flesh and hearing a howl of pain came from the vampire that had attacked Billy Ray. So many thoughts ran through Matthew's mind he couldn't help but wish he could flay the other vamp. Pick his flesh from his bones with precision and silver knives then let him sizzle in the sun like a side of bacon in a pan. Until he was nothing more than ash.
As he watched Billy Ray slip off into sleep, he looked to the angel. She would see the love and care, he had for Billy Ray in his eyes. " Thank you, Thank you so much for your help." A genuine heartfelt appreciation of the angelic being before him. He would forever owe her a debt he felt. For what she did for his Billy Ray. Turning his attention to Hoyt and Marcel, he waited to see what Hoyt would want to do next. The Family didn't let anyone mess with them, and this time was going to be no different.
In a blink, Matthew saw Marcel appear behind the Angel rather hastily. It caused him to become worried for the angels safety. Marcel seemed a little off in the moment, and it caused an arch of brow and curious look to form on Matthew's features. Glancing to Hoyt then he spoke. " Ready when you are Pa. "
