She watched him admiring the paintings with such intensity it was like he had transported himself there and the way he talked it was like he had been there personally, it fasinated her to hear him talk. She found herself moved closer to him step by step till she was right behind him.
" Andy sounds like he cared for the people very much, maybe thats because he was in heaven during the battle and came down thats what i assumed from my dreams I had "
She avoids the commentary he made not wanting to think about violence after her past and instead focuses on his request. Something in her eyes shows a brief flash of pain remembering the horrer of seeing her beloved adoptive parents and sister losing their lives to a lycan. Shes not sure if he saw that but she pours some tea with a hand that trembled, the memories came at her with such intensity it was like she was back in that closet hidden from view, helpless to do anything to save them. She forced a smile at him forced the memories from her mind.
" well its not as easy to teach at least not to that degree but I could start you out easy, what could you teach me in return?"

Jericho shrugged. "Andy's been here since before that battle. I think he was looking for someone or lost someone, something like that anyway. He didn't talk much about it and I didn't ask." It hadn't really occurred to Jericho to pry into the angel's reasons for anything, he wouldn't have cared for anyone asking him those sorts of questions, at least in part because he would have had no idea how to answer them...
"I dunno who the other two were, though someone said that the blonde one was called Archer, he's been here once or twice before apparently." He shrugged again . "No-one's ever seen the tall one before though." In truth Jericho hadn't really seen much of angels at all bar Andy and now even he had disappeared. "I hope he comes back soon..." he muttered under his breath, "..it's making a mess of the rosters him disappearing like that."
He accepted the cup of tea gratefully. Tea was very calming when he couldn't sleep and he sipped it carefully giving Jessie a smile of appreciation. He saw the flash of pain in her eyes and wondered what he could have said to have caused it. Hurting Jessie was the very last thing he wanted to do, but given he had no idea what he had done wrong it left him a little flummoxed.
"But you would teach me then?" Jericho had never had any particular urge or leanings towards art before, but then again he had never really seen any. Jessie was so very different from the average resident of Haven and he wanted to understand her better, to get to know her. She didn't flinch away from him like so many other people did. He glanced again at the charcoal sketches. "Like that?"
When she asked what he could teach her in return he looked suddenly quite crestfallen. "I... I'm not anything special." he murmured in disappointment. "I'm just a Raider." Despite his brother's constant reassurances, Jericho had never had much of an opinion of himself, and whilst he could turn his hand to damned near anything he himself was rarely ever satisfied with the results.

Jessie smiled at him considering his request then listened to what he had to say. She wanted it to be an equal trade, something that she knew how to do for something he could teach her.
" You could teach me self defense how to protect myself against those who want to harm me" She wished she had known that earlier when she had needed it but having it now would help her protect herself.
" I hope your angels return too I would like to meet them, my mother used to love angels she believed we all have guardian angels watching over us"
she got another sad in her eyes which showed him that the earlier pain was not caused by him but by memories of her past. she missed her family very much. they had raised her well and loved her now she was all alone by herself.
