Being in a pack was one of the best things that has happened to Alexander Black. Even since he could remember they were like his family. He would never forget what they have done for him. He would always be loyal no matter what happened. All the things he knows now is because he was taught well. Tonight after he fed with the pack- he decided he wanted to go off and explore a little bit. He was one curious wolf. He decided to stay in his human form though- he just needed some space to think and have some peace. He pushed himself to his feet and shoved his hands deep within his pockets.
The young man started off- not knowing where he was headed. All he knew was it was a peaceful nice stroll. He headed threw a tunnel quietly and then appeared in the outside world. It was so empty and quite. He sighed. It was just so nice. Alex smiled a large smile. Inhaling the air. It felt good to be outside. His eyes scanned around the scenery. Everything was lit by the moonlight. The sky was nearly as black as his hair. He felt so amazing out here. He went to sit down on a somewhat damaged bench. His leaned his head back- looking up at the stars.
His mind started to go haywire. His thoughts streaming like wild fire.
Alexander sometimes wished that he had someone in his life that he would be able to confied his secrets in. He was never an open person. It took years to open up to the pack. It was just him and his trust problems. He had such a hard time opening up to someone. For so many reasons- that it bugged him sometimes. But if he ever got close to someone he feared he would be left in the dust and be hurt over and over again. Or worse he would lose his temper and he would be the one ending up hurting them. Then what would he do? He is a lycan he would kill or turn them if he wasn’t careful. He sighed and leaned forward- putting his head in his hands.

Since Axelle had been gone a long time he hadn't had a chance to go and speak to Lukias. He had left to get his wits about him after Dmitrius had left. He had changed drastically. The small fry in the group had grown his hair out and it lay in black tendrils down to past his shoulders with streaks of red in it. His clothing had changed just as drasitically. He now wore a pair of black trip pants that were two sizes too big and a black shirt and an old beaten jacket with fur around the collar. His eyes glimmered in the dark as he walked through the streets. It just wasn't the same anymore.
He used to enjoy more things but now he was returning if he could. Lukias had said his door would always be open for him. He pulled out the rum out of his backpack and took a good swig of it. Before long he took a seat and began to move the pieces around on the chess board he had pulled out. The rook was still broken but that was okay with him. He would fix it another time. The irony there. Would he ever be fixed and unbroken again? Maybe? Who cares, right?
He leaned against a lightpole even as he heard footsteps coming closer. "You know the night isn't what it used to be when fellows meet under it's glow?" He chuckled some and took a drink again before setting the bottle down on the ground. He began to sing hoping whoever it was would leave him to his own pain. "Memories, sharp as daggers Pierce into the flesh of today Suicide of love took away all that matters And buried the remains in an unmarked grave in your heart With the venomous kiss you gave me I'm killing loneliness (Killing loneliness) With the warmth of your arms you saved me, Oh, I'm killing loneliness with you I'm killing loneliness that turned my heart into a tomb I'm killing loneliness..."
Lukias had wanted him to stay but with Dmitrius having disappeared all Axelle could do was run. He had told Lukias he was just visiting but that had been a lie. This place was home though it hurt to be here. He had decided to come back. He looked up at the man with a sigh. "Why hello there..." Some mistook him for a bum but Lukias knew him and some of the other were-wolves but the newer ones he wouldn't know. "The moon is a friend to the lonely heart. She shines her beauty over all with a pretty glow." Figured crazy worked and began to chuckle softly.

A cool breeze whipped up. More scents filled his nostrils- putting him on full alert. He would not let his guard down- he was still in danger of being snuck up on by a vampire. There was a fimiliar scent. It was another lycan. He heard some singing followed by the scent: "Memories, sharp as daggers Pierce into the flesh of today Suicide of love took away all that matters And buried the remains in an unmarked grave in your heart With the venomous kiss you gave me I'm killing loneliness (Killing loneliness) With the warmth of your arms you saved me, Oh, I'm killing loneliness with you I'm killing loneliness that turned my heart into a tomb I'm killing loneliness..."
Alexander found the voice soothing- Eventhough the song wasn’t to cheerful. The being was very close and he had a feeling he would be having company. He was right. "Why hello there.... The moon is a friend to the lonely heart. She shines her beauty over all with a pretty glow." He was not expecting someone to be out here at this time. He rose his head and dropped his arms. He turned his head to face the man who had just arrived. He gave the man a smile and chuckled with him. Alex responded.
Sometimes the moon is the only one who gives one comfort in this crazy world.
He leaned back again and watched this guy. He didn’t seem all that bad. He wondered why he had never seen him before. Then again he had been seeing a ton of new faces here and there in the past many years. He said, The names Alexander, but you could just call me Alex.

Axelle stayed sitting leaning against a light pole with his chess pieces out. The scent continued to be inhaled into his nose as he saw the man getting closer to him. His song was not a happy one but it worked for the occasion. He looked up as the man came more into view or should he say the wolf walking as a man. He continued to look up at him before finally with a sigh he stood up.
Obviously he wasn't being thought of as a bum. His six foot five height made him tower over most people and his bulk made him good at fist fighting now. He stretched his back as he straightens more and he works the kinks out. He saw the smile before he bent down and began to pack up his things. "Want a drink?" He offered the man the bottle as he stood up again.
"Either that or brings out the crazies." He chuckled softly at that as he pulled his back pack on one shoulder. "Alexander." He more tasted than spoke the name as he looked at the man. "I am Axelle." He tilted his head some. "Lukias didn't send you out to kill me, did he?" He joked lightly. "I mean someone running through the streets like me had to smell up the place pretty badly. I'm surprising Lukias on coming... Home." He nearly choked on the word.
"Do you happen to play chess?" It was time to start over again. He had to deal with his pain and had been for a long time but this place brought back memories of a time before. He shook his head clearing it of those thoughts. "I have always had a fascination with chess. Perhaps we can walk and talk unless you are meeting someone?" He perked an eyebrow and grinned some.

Alexander watched the man who looked like he could kick anyone ass. He watched as he was packing his stuff up- maybe he was a lone wolf looking for a home. But he didn’t want to make any assumptions before he got to get to know him. The man offered him a drink. He smirked and said ”A drink would be very much needed.” reaching for the bottle. Who would say no to a bottle of booze on such a night. Even though he was drinking with a talk, dark and handsome stranger- he accepted this. He brought the bottle to his lips and took a few swigs of the drink. He felt it slide down his throat and it sent warmth through his body. Handed it back to the man. He said ”Thanks.”
There was a slight breeze- moving his hair lightly. Alex chuckled. He said teasingly ”Crazy is my middle name.” he glanced around the scenery again. Axelle was his name- why did that sound so fimilliar. He didn’t know why- it just was not clicking with him right now. His mind was a little fuzzy due to the slight drunk feeling within himself. When he asked the question Alexander let out a laugh and shook his head. He responded ”Nope! I am just taking a night stroll. Needed to clear my head.” he paused ”Your not as bad of a stench compared to vampires or humans.” he looked back at Axelle. ”How do you know Lukias?” his curiousty made him even more interested in this guy.
”I used to play with my dad when I was younger. But I haven’t played since I was…Hmmm I don’t even know how old I was. So ill be super rusty.” When the offer came up to walk and talk. It rose his excitement. He shook his head. He said teasingly agian ”Well I was planning on meeting up with some zombies and have a few vampires join in.” he continued "Alright! So were would you want to walk too?

Axelle watched as the man took the bottle from him and listened to his words before he drank from it. His eyes couldn't move away from the man as he took a few swigs of his drink. He took the bottle from him and smiled some. "Always welcome." He murmured before taking a drink and then putting the lid back on. He shoved it into his backpack and laughed softly at the man's words of crazy being his middle name.
"Then you are just now meeting me because I take crazy to a whole new level." He didn't remark at the stench compared to vampires and humans. "You get used the stench, I guess." He lifted his shoulders in a shrug. "Him and I go back a bit." He answered to how he and Lukias knew each other. Yeah, I was with his second and he left and then I left, too. But this placed seemed to draw him back.
"I could refresh your memory sometime if you like. I enjoy the game." He laughed softly because it was an underestimated response to how much he loved the game. He had taken his time carving the pieces after he had gotten the board as a present. He had kept the board but the pieces kept breaking. "That wouldn't be a problem for me." He chuckled softly. "And to the lair, batman. I need to drop off my stuff." He laughed softly as he began to walk towards the direction of the Under City. Lukias would know he was back sooner or later.
Right now he just wanted to drop his stuff off to walk more comfortably. He looked back at Alexander. "You coming?" He smirked some at that.

His dark brown eyes stayed on Axelle. He shoved his hands into his grey sweatshirts pockets. He chuckled at his remark. Alex responded ”Well always like to live on the edge. So bringing it to a whole new level would be just what I would need…” he paused and then continued ”…well actually maybe it couldn’t be to much more crazy. Id like some down time for once.” he shrugged. He tilted his head slightly to one side and raised his eyebrow. ”You guys do? Well what a small world.” He felt that he shouldn’t push for much more. It seemed like it was a sensitive topic. He could tell something bout there past may not be completely healed on either of there terms. Alex was glad for the change of subject- he liked this mans laugh. It inspired a smile to appear on his lips. ”Id like this sometime! It was take a lot of patience on your part. So if you are prepared for this. Then your in for a pretty long amount of hours of teaching.
Alexander was glad to hear that he would want to be coming back to the den. But he would not say this out loud. He would like to get to know Axelle a lot better. Even though he had a feeling that now if he was returning to the pack. They would be seeing a lot more of each other. This made him extremely happy inside. A feeling in which doesn’t seem to happen that much for him anymore. Alex nodded and said ”Alright. Sounds like a plan Robin.” he smirked turning around to walk with him. As he did so he brushed against Axelle without meaning to. He looked at him quickly and mumbled ”Sorry my bad.” as they started to walk back towards the safe place where he guessed he should call his home. His spirits were high and he had on a huge smile as he walked along side him. What was happening to him? He really did not understand this feeling that was building within.

Axelle could feel the man's eyes on him. He didn't know to what purpose though but then chuckled softly at the man's words. His light eyes showing in the dark by the moon so they weren't dark at all but blue as he looked at Alexander. "Trust me you'll be having a whole lot of fun with me." He let a wicked grin curved his lips. "Crazy can be quite fun..." But then he realized where his words were heading and he coughed some. "But we get the point." Was he flirting? No, not him. Not after all that had happened so far. "Yeah, we do but it's all just fine." Either that or Lukias will skin his hide.
"I have all the time in the world." He murmured in response to Alexander's words of needing a whole lot of patience. Long amount of hours? Oh, shoot me now." He laughed at that. "Just go ahead and put me out of my misery now." He grinned wickedly at that. Like he'd mind it at all. "Robin? I don't think I'd fit into the tight outfit. I could try though but doubt it wouldn't rip." But then he felt the brush against him and didn't move away at all. His eyes snapped to the man's eyes and shrugged.
"It's fine." He whispered and put his hands in his pockets. The brush didn't bother him but he wanted to feel more but at the same time he wanted to keep his distance. Safe was always better. He took his time walking through the place to reach the Under City. "So do you like it here?" He couldn't wait to see his room again. The bed and all of his stuff that he had to leave. He wondered if the necklace was still there. He had left it on accident but hoped someone had taken care of it. It had been his sister's.

It wont be all that bad. Or I could possibly be wrong. But who knows. I may be a fast learner. So your misery wont be all the long. Alexander responded with an evil teasing smile. Hoping he wouldn’t mind all this time with him. He would maybe pretend to suck so he could make each time longer and longer. Alex mentally kicked himself- what was he doing! He was either really drunk or he was flirting. He had never been known to flirt- due to the fact that his pack was more like family and he didn’t have much of a social life per say because of his trust issues. But something about this guy was making him relax and be able to have a normal conversation. He raised his eye brows and responded Oh please. I think that maybe if you tried you could. As if I would be able to fit into those spandex outfits. he shrugged his shoulders and looked down at his feet as they were walking at a slow pace back. He started to wonder which of the rooms was his old one. There were plenty of empty ones. He liked his room- it was organized how he liked it and didn’t like many people going into his room. It was just something that he felt should be private.
Alex looked up when Axelle asked him the one question he had never been asked- let alone he had never really thought about too deeply. He thought through his answer. Then he responded Well it’s the one place in which I feel safe. Even since this whole world went down the drain- I have been on the move. So its finally nice to have a place where I feel like I mean something…. he paused, looking up at the sky letting out a sigh. He continued … They are like a family that I never had. I haven’t seen my dad in what seems like a billion years. Ever since I became apart of this pack he has disappeared. he stopped himself before going on. He took a breath and muttered I never knew my mother. She died at birth. he looked back down at his feet and shoved his hands in his pockets again. He realized that he had just told a guy who had just met- most of his past.
They came close to where one should enter to get back to safety.

Axelle gave him a grin at his words. "Oh hell... Don't tell me that you are one of those that argues with themselves?" He laughed hard and it felt good to laugh. He began to tease further then. "You know people can sit and listen to someone arguing with themselves for quite some time and chuckle through it. It's the whole basis of do or not.Try or not. Just put me down now and save time." He chuckled at that. "Oh and you could but it would definitely be a really tight fit." He grinned at that and shifted his backpack on his shoulder some.
Oh, how he needed to get his thoughts in order. His room would be nice to do that. He wasn't trying to get rid of Alexander. He missed his room. He missed the stuff he had left. It had become his home in a way. A place for him when everything began to fall apart at the seems. He listened intently and held his tongue as he thought about how it had been with his sister and parents. But the whole of it was everything that had happened to Axelle and finding out his sister was alive. Well, undead or whatever was still fresh. "I knew my whole family. But that was a long time ago and this is now. The pack is like family. I just generally stuck clear of them for a long time." He lifted his shoulder in a slight shrug.
Finally he realized that they were close and he moved to where they could enter and began walking inside. He moved easily with his body. Watchful and confident even as he moved to the door where his room was. He brought his gaze along the hall and gave a wry chuckle remembering before he went to go inside his room. "It will only be a few moments." He murmured to Alexander. Home. Finally he could drop his stuff off and move on. His eyes landed on Dmitrius's door but then he prepared to go into the room with a sigh.

Matter of fact, I do not argue with myself. Well occasionally I do. Unless its very much needed. Alexander responded with a laugh- joining in with Axelle. They might as well wake up all the dead. They must be making so much noise. Alex didn’t remember the last time he had laughed so much. Well I would most likely be super uncomfortable and might get super wedgies. he wasn’t paying attention fully to where he was walking and stumbled a little. He laughed again and looked where they were. The mood slightly shifted again- when he brought up his family life. Alex wondered what it was like actually knowing a full family- with a mom, dad and siblings. He replied Well welcome back to the pack. One big wonderful family. he smiled at Axelle noticing he was in some deep thoughts.
Now they were back at the entrance- they both entered in to the main tunnel. They were heading down the hallway. Alex had no idea which was his old room was. So he was following behind. He was starting the recognize where they were headed. Maybe his old room was close to his or maybe a little farther- he really had no idea. He was just guessing. Then they stopped- they had stopped in front of his room. He watched as he was getting ready to enter his room. Alexander didn’t know what to say. He was tongue-tied. Then it all hit him- hit him hard. He knew why the scent of Axelle was so familiar. That scent was in his room he had now. Axelle must have owned the stuff in there that he had not touched and left where it was placed-. He finally managed to speak, So your old room…. Turns out to be my room. he didn’t know how he would react to this. He braced himself for the worst.

Axelle chuckled at his response. "Really?" Wasn't that just a slight argument Alexander just had with himself and Axelle was grinning wickedly at it. "Don't the women say that beauty equals pain?" He tried to keep a straight face even though his blue eyes shined with suppressed laughter. This wasn't what he had expected when he returned. No, he had expected being growled at by Lukias. Axelle reached out a hand to help steady Alexander as he stumbled some. "Careful the ground is always uneven in some places and this is one of them." His hand touching Alexander's arm as he held Alexander up but then he let go as the mood changed some.
As they moved through the tunnel he could just feel the memories bubbling up. He didn't want to remember. He wanted to forget. It was better to forget than be hurting like this. He could remember a time when he would always deny the offerings of being pack and now he was home. The prodigal son in a way. "Ah, home sweet home." He remarked as he looked at the door. But then Alexander's words hit him like a brick. His eyes narrowing first but then as the words hit home they widened in surprise.
"Well, I can say this comes as a surprise." He was angry because now he had to hunt his stuff down and that meant he would have to move to another room. Which was probably Dmitrius's old room. He tilted his head wanting to hit Alexander for taking his room but no one knew even if he would return or not. What had happened to all his stuff? The necklace was the most important of it all. He brought his hand up as if he were going to touch something that wasn't there. His shoulders slumped some.
"I dropped something. Something very important to me. It is a dainty necklace. A woman's necklace with a thin chain and a locket with two pictures inside..." He cleared his throat some. "The chain would have been broken or the locket could have been lost..." Please don't tell me someone could have picked it up and took it. He stood outside of the door to what had been his room and not sure what to do. He was full of pain and then again he had no idea where to go either. "It had been my sister's necklace." He explained softly and looked around before moving towards the door next door. "This room taken?" It had been Dmitrius's old room. Things change and nothing ever remains the same.
It was somewhat understandable that his room would have been given up since no one knew if he would return or not and that was fine. The hell it was fine with him but he would deal. "Do you know what happened to my stuff?" He asked slowly trying to keep his voice cheerful though he wanted to throw something and even leaned against a wall waiting. But that only lasted a moment when his fist hit the wall in his anger. His hand hurt some and he had made the wall shiver since he had only used half of his annoyance. He wanted to hit Alexander but on the other hand he didn't. He pressed his back against the wall and slid down it until he was sitting with one knee bent and up and the other leg lying along the floor.
"This definitely brings back memories." But then he began to chuckle some at the whole situation.

With his last words- it caused a major shift in the air. It was silent for some time. He was still bracing himself for the worst. He had no idea what to expect. His body tensed up and he took a mini step back from him. Just in case he needed his space. Alexander watched as he raised his hand- as if trying to grab or throw a punch. He watched Axelle carefully. He was starting to feel really bad for taking his room. He had no clue that the person would be coming back who once lived here. But he had respected some of the stuff that had been left behind. It was in the corner in a small box. He jumped slightly as after a long period of time of silence. He could sense he was a little calmer. Alexander responded ”A matter of fact, I did find that locket and your stuff…” he paused. He shifted his weight from one side to the other. He sighed silently and shoved his hands into his pockets.
He moved toward his room- opening the door and shuffling in. He glanced over his shoulder at the hallway- he couldn’t believe what was happening. Maybe he should offer to give Axelle this room back. It was originally his. He continued ”I kept your stuff in the box to keep It safe- no one could take anything, I wasn’t sure wether anyone would return for these. But you never know- so I decided why not keep them here. Safe and sound in this room.” he didn’t hear much coming from outside. He responded to the question he had asked ”Nope that room is aviaible. No one has ever taken then room.” Alexander turned and headed towards the door, he realized how quite its gone.
Alex had grabbed the locket to bring it back to Axelle- he would bring rest of stuff to him when things cooled down. He looked and saw that Axelle had his back against the wall and had slid down it-he was sitting with one knee bent and up and the other leg lying along the floor. Alexander looked at him- he had never seen so many emotions go through someone so quickly. It must be hard for him. He moved over towards Axelle. He leaned against the wall- he too slid down in sitting close to Axelle. He reached into his pockets and producing the locket. He held it out to him. Alex said somewhat cheerfully to lighten the spirits of the resent events, ”See like I said. Safe and sound. Back to its rightful owner.” he smiled at him as he did this.
Whatever had happened with Axelle and his past- must be flooding back to him. He leaned his head back against the wall. He may not understand what he was going through- but he knew that he would mostly likely find out soon what had happened. Alex heard Axelle laugh. He looked over at him and raised his eyebrow and said teasingly "I'd say it be one of those times to break that bottle out." he laughed a little.

Axelle knew he shouldn't be angry at Alexander. It wasn't his fault. But the room had been his only private sanctuary and there wasn't too many memories in his room. Or rather Alexander's room now. His eyes were narrowed to slits again. His stuff, his room... His stuff could go to hell. He just wanted his necklace. Well, his sister's necklace back. He took a deep breath trying to calm the anger that had come. But then he heard Alexander's words and his breath caught and held for a moment. Oh, he was about to hit the man if it turned out Alexander had sold it or worse gave it to someone else as a present. "You didn't get rid of the necklace, did you?" He spoke almost as if the words were really hated but he had to know.
He watched Alexander move towards the door and go inside and gave a growl but then cut it off because it wasn't Alexander's fault. No, it was his own stupidity. He had left and now returned thought everything would be the same but nothing was the same. His eyes slid to the ground as if not wanting to see anything in the room. But then as Alexander spoke he looked at the man. "You kept my stuff?" He sounded a bit stunned. He could have gotten quite a bit with some of the stuff. Vengeance and him had been making deals back and forth before. The man was a complete mystery. He'd have to go and make some more deals with the man. "How is the hunting going and food for the young?"
Lukias didn't even know about the deals. It was easier that way. He leaned against the wall and then sat leaning against it. He didn't know how to react to any of this. Of course that room was open. He didn't speak for a long time instead he just sat there thinking over it all. He finally let his chaotic emotions fall into nothing. What was the point anyways? Facts were facts. He saw the locket with the chain and let out a soft sigh. "Just like you said. You didn't have to keep all my stuff..." He spoke softly as he took the necklace with a gentle touch as if afraid to break it more. He had to smile some and looked at Alexander. He was grateful to him for keeping it safe not even knowing how much it meant to someone else.
Everything had changed in a few months time. "I second that thought." He moved his backpack off his shoulder leaning forward to do so and put it beside him and opened the backpack up a little to reach inside. No one but Axelle knew what was inside of the old looking backpack. He moved his hand around feeling for the bottle before pulling it out and zipping the zipper up again. He opened the bottle and handed it to Alexander. "You can keep the room and stuff if you can find use of the junk in those boxes. All I really wanted was the necklace back. I got everything I need in my backpack."
He looked to the other room. So he made his bed and he'd lay in it. "Is everything still in that room?" He asked wondering if it would all still be as it was.

Alexander adjusted slightly- his foot hand fallen asleep since they must have been sitting here for a long time. He wasn’t aware of how long it had been in all honesty. He was surprised at his surprised reaction to him keeping all of his stuff- including his sister’s locket. He replied softly ”I would never have thought of giving away something as valuable as this or anything for that matter.” he paused ”I could have- but since I had a feeling that it meant a lot to the owner I kept it safe.” he looked over just as Axelle had looked at him- he was giving his a smile. That slightly made him melt inside- well more like a ton. But he kept this to himself. Alex smiled back and then put his hands into his pockets.
There was some silence again- then another question was popped out of the blue. He said ”Its going well! They still kind of count me as a younger-ish lycan but they put me to good use. Everyone gets there share of food. Not to long ago Lukias pretty much put the packs lives in my hands. I had to draw a vampire far from here. I succeeded. It wasn’t all that hard- I can run pretty fast and I confused the hell out of that bastard.” he smiled proudly. There was a cool breeze that whipped through the tunnels. Sending a slight chill through his body. Not cause he was cold but just excitement.
Alexander chuckled at his response to have some drinks. It was very much needed after the recent events. He watched as Axelle adjusted to take his bag off and rummaging around. He stretched a little and brushed his pants off. He nodded a thanks as he was handed the bottle. He rose the bottle to his lips and took a few gulps. He lowered it slightly. He hadn’t had a real drink like this for ages. Last time was with his dad- before he had disappeared of due to the fact he didn’t believe in living with packs. Which Alex really didn’t understand the logic of that. He would hate to be alone in this world.
He took a few more gulps before handing it back to Axelle. As he took the last one he managed to spill some on his sweatshirt. He rolled his eyes and chuckled. ”Wonderful.. Just what I wanted. Booze covered sweatshirt.” He placed the bottle next to Axelle. He pushed himself up and stumbled slightly to his room. He took his sweatshirt of and threw it onto his bed. He rummanged through the room for another clean shirt. He grabbed one and headed back to the door since Axelle was talking- so he didn’t want to seem like he was ignoring him.
”Thanks. Well I don’t know what I will do with the stuff. But I could most likely figure something out. Your welcome to come over whenever. Even though you will be next door.” Alex said with a smile. He stood there holding his shirt before realizing he should put it on since he had grabbed it. He slid on the tight black shirt. He could feel that things were cooling down and there was a friendship beginning to grow between them. He said ”Yeah. No one touched anything in there. No one even really enters this area at all. Just to pass by or to see me for something.” he came out and sat down next to him again.
