Name: Alexander Ross Adler
Age: 25 years old
Sex: Male
Sexual Orientation: Asexual
Species: Mutant//Morphed Mutant(Thinker)
Physical Description:
Lex stands close to six and half feet tall, gangly but muscled his build similar to that of a swimmer. Long angular face, high cheek bones and pale complexion giving him a gaunt look. Short choppy black hair followed a soft widow’s peak. Flickering shines behind deep green eyes, angular almost feline like, straight eyebrows giving him a perpetual nonchalance look. Always standing slightly arched, walking with a almost feline grace. Intricate tribal tattoos stretch down his arm and stop at his wrist. Usually preferring the simple choice of jeans and a T, though known to shine up every so often.
Attitude:
Lex can seem a little.....stange most of the time. Lex has his way with words and using others against them. Clever and cunning he has a natural knack for observation and deductive skills. Alienating himself from others he is a natural introvert and though rugged on the outside vulnerable to his own demons. A long wick to a short fuse, one of Lex's greatest traits is patience, he isn't afraid to wait for the right time.
A bibliophile due to the speed in which he consumes data, Lex boards easily and is always seeking the next challenge. Of course he is prone to bouts of paranoia, dementia, temporary insanity, Selective muteness, and fits of violence as a side effect of his abilities.
Abilities:
Photographic Memory(Passive): Lex can remember most things by visual input, usually in a greater capacity then most others. Remembering this data later in vivid vidual detail.
Breakdown(Active): At time of high stress(not always by command)Lex's brain can process movements at a much faster rate than others. Giving him the amazing feat of athletics and timing, inhuman reflexes and heighten accuracy with with thrown weapons and melee weapons. Using this ability too often or for too long fatigues Lex quickly and if pushed far enough can lead to dehydration, fevers, cardiac arrhythmia and in worse case heart attacks or permanent muscle damage.
The Minds Cave(Active): A technique discovered in the early 2000's for memory retention and associating memories with a indexing system. Entering a meditation like stance Lex can search his memories for specific details and memories. Staying in the state for too long can lead to dehydration, exhaustion and in worse cases a coma he may not wake up from
Copy Cat(Active): Lex can copy writing almost perfectly at times flawless from memory. As well he can copy information at a high accuracy and quick speed. This is limited to written or spoken data.
Quick Learner(Active): Lex can quickly pick up a skill or mimic a action perfectly for a short period of time. Example; Lex can read a guide in 10 minutes on how to solve an Rubik cube and solve it but he couldn't tell you how to do it and within a few minutes he couldn't do it again. Using this ability for longer than 20 minutes will cause Lex to pass out. If he pushes beyond that he risks having a brain aneurism
Weaknesses:
-Hyperkinesis: Lex is in constant need of stimuli, wether through books, training, working out, building, anything that can keep his attention. He bores quickly and if it drags on too long he is quick to resort to his vices.
-Migraines: Lex is prone to crippling headaches and migraines that can leave him prone and sometimes in a coma. Drugs and painkillers can lessen but only for a short period of time.
-dementia pugilistica: Scar tissue has built on the top of Lex's brain(see history for more detail) which effect his motor controls every so often. The more tired he gets the more his hands shake, trips over his own feet, misses grabbing objects. Right after he uses his abilities Lex becomes crippled(severity depends on ability used) by shaking fits.
-Permenant memory damage: Lex has suffered permemnant memory damage from a unknown trauma. It manifests it's self in nightmares and in a exhausted or stressed enough state hallucinations.
History:
The Raven District, it was only called that by those who grew up their. John & Mary Adler had two sons, Alexander Tyrannous Adler, and Lucius Verity Adler. Lex's childhood was filled(like any other child of the Raven district) with work, studies, and sports. Most kids participating in two if they could. It was a good upbringing, normal and calm the best a child could hope for. Lex was fourteen when everything changed forever. The circumstances are still unclear, no one even Lex doesn't know what happened to this day. One morning both Lex and Lucius were found, multiple gunshot wounds and left for dead. Lucius was found dead, Lex barely alive, the gunshot wound to the head didn't give anyone high hopes.
Lex spent four days in critical condition, three times he died. Three weeks into his recovery and he still hadn't woken up. He began to break out into fevers, cold sweats the doctors guessing some type of infection.......or some type of virus. Lex was locked in quarantine for another six days before he finally awoke. Though something about him......changed. Unable to recall the events that lead to his hospitalization or even weirder the memory of who his brother was. Doctors were baffled at the memory loss, but even more baffled at what the boy had seemed to gain. Over the next few weeks Lex became a sponge, blazing through books of any and every level, intelligence that seemed through the rough. It was if he had been living his whole life only using part of his potential as if something had been holding the flood gates of knowledge back all along.
The next year worth of recovery was hell. It seemed almost impossible for Lex to get anything straight. Plagued by nightmare, bouts of shaking and radical mood swings it left the teenage boy confused and a lot of the time angry. It wasn't long before he developed systems, honed his abilities and gained control over his hungry impulsive mind and fits of shakes. He began to slowly gain control over his body again, it was only a matter of will. By 17 the only signs of the incident was a small scar on his forehead, a small circle were the bullet had entered.
With Lex's dreams of being a fighter and the reality that if he didn't find some useful skills it wouldn't be long before he was outside the city. It didn't take Lex long to find out what he was good at. Scouring the city he began to hunt down information. Searching high and low using deductive science and provability he could turn a little scrap of information into something worth paying for. Between information broking and a natural talent for engineering Lex manages to scrape by. However his mind never adventures far from his brother's killer. Eventually he would find whoever was responsible. It was only a matter of time.

Lex peered out the third story apartment window down at the body below and then back around the apartment. Dressed in a black trench coat, black slacks, white button up and black vest, his hands were clasped behind his back. Slightly hunched his eyes gazed around the apartment with a blank stare before walking over and picking up the shotgun that lay on the floor. Lex looked it over a few times, running his hand along the stock's grain, checking each mechanism, inspecting, studying, and completely amazed by the firearm. Moments would pass before he set the shotgun back down and paced back and forth across the apartment. Shotgun, single shell, arguing couple, man below, didn't go through window. His brain began to break down the scenario's based on what data it had and what guesses he could make. It was tapping his ability a mental over-drive so to speak of.
Lex stopped dead center of the room and began laughing hysterically. The CSI team looked at him flabbergasted and appalled. It continued for a time before Lex noticed people were staring. He straightened up stifleing laughs and holding out his hand “sorry, sorry it's just...” Lex shook his head walking over to a couch and sat down, pulling out his pouch to roll a cigarette. “I mean the irony” He said oblivious to the fact that no one had any idea what he was talking about. The lead investigator walked up to him, unimpressed, limp to the left side, gout?
“How about filling all of us in on what the hell you are talking about?” The vamp asked giving Lex an annoyed and impatient look. “
Well, if I must.” Lex climbed to his feet letting out a heavy sigh, intelligence didn't come easy. Lex picked up the shotgun “this was the first indication, it's only ever been fired once. At that based on the bare marks it's only ever been loaded a handful of times.” Lex sat the shotgun down and walked over to a pile of witness reports. “The three parties involved, Mr. Hansen, a 97 year old half deaf decrepit farm worker was the one to discharge the firearm. He claims he never keeps it loaded and often threatens Mrs. Hansen with the unloaded shotgun.” Lex tossed down the report with a chuckle. “From the bills left on the table they were heavily supporting their son who is incredibly in debt.” Lex handed the detective one of the bills. “From other witness statements it seemed the mother and son got into it quite a bit, a lot of yelling a disagreeing.” Lex ashed the cigarette in the sink and walked over to the window. “However, the ironic part is this.”
Lex pointed to the shotgun. “The son loaded the shotgun with a single shell, something you wouldn't normally do. In the hopes his father like normal would threaten and kill his mother.” Lex flicked the cigarette out the window and walked back to the middle of the room. “However the son wasn't patient enough, depressed he attempted to commit suicide by jumping off the roof.” Lex made a few side steps lining his hand up with the window. “When the father finally did make the threat and shoot the gun, he missed, completely!” Lex waved his arms before pointing it back at the window “instead he shot the son as he was jumping off the building, inevitably murdering him before he could kill himself.” A twisted smirk crossed his lips “ironic isn't it?” They all stared at him both baffled and horrified. He looked at them with a smile “so where can I pick up my money?” A smile crossed his lips.
