Name: Lyra
Age: Unknown
Sex: Female
Sexual Orientation: Bisexual
Species: Elemental
Physical Description:
Lyra has two forms, one being her 'human' form. Long red hair and lightly freckled skin, with eyes so blue that it seems an impossible color. Her figure is slender, more like a swimmers and with a gentle tan. She prefers light, flowing clothing ranging from blue to white.
Her other form has the outline of her 'human' form, but she is made up entirely of water. A clear, crystal blue water
Attitude:
Patient and unrelenting, Lyra is very much compared to the element she is tied to. Mercurial as the tides and can be just as cruel and horrible as a monsoon or tidal wave.
More often than not, Lyra is a gentle soul that will help those around her however she can. Though, she's grown slightly bitter towards humans who seemed to do nothing but pollute her precious water sources. When the Apocalypse hit, her rage was felt on the east coast in a storm to end all storms. That rage still lingers, but has lessened considerably.
Abilities:
- Lyra has a near absolute control over water around her. She can effect as much water as would be found in a large reservoir, though it would leave her body exhausted to the point of unconsciouness.
- Lyra can manipulate a small container of water to act as something like a 'healing potion'. Whether imbibed or poured over a non lethal wound, the body will begin to mend itself. This cannot effect life threatening wounds or diseases.
- Due to her level of manipulation of water, Lyra is able to rejuvinate her own body. And while this doesn't make her any more resilient to things that would kill her, it does ensure she will not age.
Flaws
- Lyra cannot create water from nothing, she has to have a sourse of water to manipulate it.
- Lyra's body is hypersensitive to dehydration. Her body will suffer the effects of dehydration twice as fast as a normal human's body would.
- Her ability to manipulate water is vast, but does have a price; the more she tries to take on in a day the quicker she becomes exhausted. She can push herself to the point of unconsciousness.
History:
It isn't known when Lyra was born or where, and Lyra isn't telling.
Before the industrial age, Lyra worked quietly in the shadows to ensure the flora and fauna of the Earth had fresh, clean water. Freak rains in the deserts, diverted rivers and floods that didn't quite break. She felt apart of the purpose of the world.
When man decided to take up industry, her work became more about cleaning the pollution from water than aiding the world. Through those years, she grew tired and bitter towards humanity.
When the Apocalypse hit, Lyra simply turned her back on her fellow humans and instead embraced completely her elemental nature. Letting humanity fade as much as it could.
Though, through the years she's found herself curious of the cities vampires have built for humans. It made sense that they would protect their food source...whether or not she has intention on trying to ruin the vampire's creation or not is yet to be seen.
