It was the full moon, she had been anxious all day looking for a way out of the city. Each time she thought about slipping off into the dessert remembering the hoardes of zombies outside the city made her turn back from the gates.
Knowing full well her smell would be even stronger as it was the time of the change, she tried to avoid anywhere that vampires would be hanging out, lest they catch a whiff of her scent and track her when they came out after sunset. She had to find somewhere out of harms way and where she could cause no harm.
Her skin itched and as the afternoon grew late she started to feel uneasy. She found herself in a rather unsavoury part of town as the sun sunk down t the lowest point of the sky before it actually became sunset. In desperation she lifted a manhole cover to the sewers in a deserted alleyway and dropped into the dark hole.
It was a long drop and satisfied that she wasn't crawling back up there to the streets later she turned left and trudged through the dark twisted passageways trying to get as much distance between herself and her knowledge of how to get to the city. When she was well and truly lost and the itching was well and truly taking over her conscience thought she sat down and waited, grateful that she had found a place that she could be well and truly alone.

Lukias was pretty well put out, finding the new she-bitch in bed with his best friend. She at least showed potential to be pack alpha mate material. However, he had the other half of his grain alcohol to appease his wounded pride. He would go find himself a place to finish the bottle, wank himself silly just to stem his lusts before some poor Lycan took it up the ass for dominance sake and try to finally get some sleep. He grumbled to himself as he staggered along the tunnels, exploring the passages they didn’t use very often other than for patrol.
He was wearing only a pair of jeans that he had pulled off his dinner. The shirt was covered in blood so he had discarded it. His bare feet made wet slapping sounds in the puddles of water that lined the tunnel. He pointed at this chest as he grumbled and mumbled, “I’m the Alpha…I am…I…am…the Alpha. Why is my bed empty and theirs isn’t?” He mumbled just as he tripped over someone’s feet and stumbled into the wall. He turned and looked to see a woman.
She was a she-bitch from the smell of her. She was probably a new member of the pack and nobody bothered to tell him. “Move o’re.” he muttered, nudged her with his foot and slid down the wall to sit next to her. “Hey, she-bitch, I’m the pack leader, Lukias…wha’s your na*hic* na*hic* name?” his rich baritone voice echoed in the tunnel, “You *hic* know this’s not a safe place at all?” he slurred and shook his head. “I think I have *hic* hiccups.”
He suddenly turned his face to her and glared angrily, “Am I not handsome? Am I not handsome enough for you?” he demanded as he jabbed his finger at her. “Bah!” he turned away and leaned back on the wall and took a long draw off his bottle, “What do you know? What does anybody know?” he growled. “They all just go away…all of them…you will too.” He growled and stood up. “They all do!” he shouted and began staggering back toward the lair mumbling.

London had fallen asleep, not a very safe thing to do but she desperately wanted to calm this anxious itch that was building inside of her. She should be starting to be able to control the change, she was 61 after all, still young by many standards but should be able to have some control.
She had not long drifted off when someone kicked her leg, stumbling over her. She glared at the person responsible, a large man in filthy jeans and no shoes. Not a man but a werewolf, a werewolf stinking of hard liquor and fresh kill. She crinkled her nose and scooted over as he sat beside her.
Her eyes widened as he declared himself the pack leader, she was shocked that an alpha would be in such a state, so out of control when control was the only thing keeping the alpha alive, the only thing keeping another from stepping up to challenge for the top position. This man was drunk, not just drunk but almost rolling on the ground drunk, any minor could take him for his position, he would make an easy target.
She sighed in disappointment, her dreams of running across a pack with a strong protective alpha that would welcome her in, someone like her father had been, had just been blown out of the water.
"My name is London and I am the only living member of the Chicago pack, I seek refuge" she took a deep breath and added a clause in case the pack was all like this and she wanted to leave "For the fullmoon anyway." she sighed and looked at his dirty feet "Hiccups, yeah they can be annoying" she added, glancing at the bottle then back at his rugged face again "But I usually find less alcohol is a help in preventing them"
His angry glare made her flinch and the itch under her skin started again, she reached her left hand over and scratched her right elbow. She tried not to glare back at him, but didn't avoid eye contact, as daughter of the alpha she was not accustomed to be submissive and wasn't planning to start.
But his question took her by surprise, he seemed to be accusing her of something and she had no idea what. His question was ludicrous and she wasn't going to answer. The alpha didn't need her approval or ego boost, he was the supreme being after all. Looking at him she shook her head, well was supposed to be the supreme being but his continued rambling questions were borderline psychotic let alone pathetic and she started to doubt he was more than just a lacky.
When he stood, she stood, it was never safe to be on such a lower level, it placed her on such low social standing that it could well find her being his midnight snack. But rather than confronting her for standing up next to him and not being submissive, he just stalked off grumbling.
She shook her head, this made no sense, it had to be some kind of joke, surely this numbskull was just mucking around and the true alpha was back at the lair ruling like a alpha should. Since she had no idea where she was, or where the lair was she followed after him.
"Hey" she called after him trying to remember his name "Hey Lukias" she finally remembered as she caught up with his staggering swagger along the narrow tunnel. "Hey so how is it that you are the alpha and yet you are here drunk and alone hey?"
She knew her tone was aggressive and knew that he could well do her some damage, if only he were sober enough. Her arms itched terribly and she crossed her arms over her chest scratching frantically at both of her elbows.
She could hear noise now, a glow ahead and she knew they were near the Lair, she knew that her chance for him to admit he was joking about being alpha was short, afterall he couldn't admit that in front of the real alpha.
" What do you mean they go away?" she stepped in front of him, stopping his walk "If you are the alpha you can just order them to stay. " she took a deep breath "IF you are really the alpha" she looked at him accusingly.
"Look here" she sighed "I am new in town and I just want to find the safety of the pack, nothing else. I don't want trouble. Just help me get inside to the alpha and I promise not to tell on you about the alcohol and the pretending to be the boss, right"
She flashed him a warm smile and reached out and touched his warm arm "Lukias, are you alright?" she asked noting that his stance had changed somewhat.

Lukias staggered and tripped his way down the corridor, listening to the woman following him. “Blah, blah, blah…” he muttered and picked up his pace a bit. He heard something beyond her and wanted to get them both closer to the den. His eyes darted from one side to the other. The sound was the silent footfalls of someone highly trained. However, they were not trained enough to keep the sound of his footfalls from reaching Lukias ears.
She was causing a brilliant commotion and distraction for Lukias, just what he needed. None of what she was saying warranted an answer because he was the Alpha and she was annoying the hell out of him. “You don’ know me, woman.” He growled, “And they go away…mates…pups…they go away. You will too.” He slurred his words more than he needed to in order to maintain his drunken appearance but the moment he heard the soft footfalls behind them, he had sobered up immediately.
It was when he heard an anticipatory intake of breath from behind her, just as the woman reached for Lukias that he chose to make his move. He spun around and grabbed the laser pulse rifle that was aimed at her head and stuffed it through the Techahuman’s mask with a speed and fluid grace that could not be matched by any other Lycan in his lair. The man fell to the ground dead. Instantly there were six males surrounding him, growling in Lycan form.
Lukias plucked the gun from the officers helmet where his head was caved in from the blow and handed it to one of his guards. He reached down, ripped the head off the body, and tossed it to another. Quietly he removed the communicator/locator from the man’s wrist and handed that to the Lycan who now held the head. “Take it to the other side of the city and leave it. Stay on your toes! His leech will be looking for him.” He ordered. He looked down at the body and poked at it. It was roughly his size, even the feet. He grinned and carefully removed the clothing, draping each piece carefully over his arm. Once the body was completely nude he stood over it and sneered, “Dinner anyone?” he growled, “Get rid of this, eat it or something.” He had yet to see any harm come to a Lycan who ate a Techahuman.
As if he just remembered, he looked at the woman. “Oh, you’re still here?” he asked matter of factly, “Come on, we’ll find the REAL alpha in my den.” He walked away, followed by snickers and laughter. As he strode across the common area, two children ran to Lukias and jumped into his arms, “LUKIAS!” they shouted joyfully. He laughed and ruffled their hair as they climbed on him.
“Lukias, Tommy said I could never become an alpha because I’m too little!” one child complained.
Lukias shot the other child a mock pout, “Well, I don’t know, I was pretty little when I was your age. Who knows, you may grow up to be the biggest alpha ever.” He grinned and let the children drop to the floor and spared them a slight glance as they ran off again.
Lukias stopped at a pair of double doors which he pushed open with his feet and walked in, “Close those.” He commanded to the person who’s footsteps he heard behind him, assuming it was the woman. Her scent found its way to his, now sober, senses and he stopped. He tossed the uniform into a chair and turned to look at the woman, “You’re alpha stock…” he said flatly, his cock immediately jumped to attention. “Ok, you wanted to meet the REAL Alpha? Here I am…what can I do for you?” he growled, now in an even more foul mood since he was sober and his bottle lost somewhere in the fray.
His room was adorned with hastily repaired, yet sturdy, wooden furniture. In the corner was a large bed that was fashioned out of furs and pillows. The walls were covered in tribal paintings. On the floor was what looked like a child’s drawing of a large wolf with a small wolf next to it and the words Papa and Mia scrawled under it. There were stones on the ground surrounding it as if to create a barrier. A single bare light bulb buzzed and flickered above his head. He stood there looking at her inquisitively.

London jumped sideways as Lukias swung around, the thought and impression that he was attacking her. He moved so fast that she almost didn't see him grab the gun and shove it hard at the head of the person holding it. London took a sharp breath and jumped as the body crashed to the floor followed just heart beats later by a pack of lycans, all growling and all looking as menacing as they possibly could get.
London had rarely seen aggression at home growing up and hadn't seen another lycan in a long long time and seeing these snapping snarling forms now seemed very intimidating. She shook her head slighty at herself, she was getting soft living alone. The smell of the fresh blood coming from the severed neck made her stomach grumble and she realised she was hungry, it also made her skin feel like a million insects crawled under it. She took a few deep breaths to try and calm the need to change.
She wondered what he meant by the real alpha and took off following the large man, what had just happened running over and over in her mind. She had endangered this pack, she had been followed or her scent had led that person here. It wasn't good enough. In her pack, well her now dead pack, that would have been an act punishable by death, not even young ones would be so careless.
Feeling a little gloomy at the situation she followed Lukias to where he said she could meet the alpha. She watched the large man deal with the children, he was warm and natural with them and she couldn't help herself and a smile spread across her lips. It took a smart man or an experienced father to deal with a situation like that, and he had done it at ease and happily. There was obviously more to this man that she had ever suspected.
She followed him through the two doors and without thinking about it turned and closed them behind her. His words were gruff and she thought she heard a element of annoyance behind them. She looked at him a few moments, he certainly looked different now, standing here in this room, in his surroundings. He looked bigger and his presence showed that he was more than just some guy, he was someone, he was the alpha of this pack and she had just spent ages telling him he wasn't.
She swallowed and after a moment of looking sheepish, she took a long blink and opened her eyes slowly, taking him in through lowered lashes. Standing here now, half naked, obviously pumped from the kill, he looked amazing, she was very impressed with the persona he was now portraying.
She took a deep breath, wondering what to say, eventually she just said the obvious "Sorry about before, I mean you looked very drunk and I just didn't think you" she swallowed "Well I didn't think you were the alpha and I apologise. I am not myself at the moment, I have travelled a long way and have been on my own a long time"
She smiled slightly hoping that was enough not to get herself killed or banished. She thought of how much to tell him about her journey here, in thinking about her father she found herself standing up straighter, prouder and she decided to tell him everything.
She looked at him, her gaze firmly fixed on his dark eyes, "I am daughter of Tunak, alpha of the chicago pack." she swallowed determined to hold his gaze, she wanted to show that she was not intimidated by him, not by his size, not by his position, not by the way looking at him made her heart beat faster and cracking with the saddness of her loneliness would not show him that.
"I am the only living member of the Chicago pack, they were all killed in a vampire raid. I escaped as I was not in the lair at the time." she refrained from telling him why and continued with her current situation "I have travelled alone throughout this country looking for a pack to join, just one alone is an easy target and I have battled zombies on the open lands and hide from vampires which ever city or town I go." she took a deep breath "I am looking for somewhere safe, shelter, food, protection, somewhere safe to change. The comforts of pack life"
She scratched at her arm absently and looked around, it was a large room but she spied something on the floor, a drawing of two wolves. She tilted her head slightly to read the writing 'Papa and Mia' . She wondered who the people were that were obviously enshrined in the picture. The stone boarder looked more important than just holding down the picture.
Walking over to the drawing she knelt down to look closer, in doing so her foot knocked a stone, dislodging it from its place and making it clatter noisily. To her observation nothing had happened and so she just continued to look, she stood after a moment and turned around to look straight at his not happy face "Nice drawing" she commented.

Lukias listened to what she had to say. It was a lot of information to absorb at once and he was not about to explain his actions to her. Not all the alcohol in the world could keep a Lycan drunk for long; they regenerated too quickly. Even so, what he did was none of her business and as Alpha, he could do whatever he wanted until he was defeated in battle and exiled as a rogue. At least he had some news for her that might make her happy, he was unsure since there had been more than one pack in Chicago. “You are not the only survivor from Chicago. We have a few refugees here now. We get new pack members every day. They straggle in one by one. The pack is strong for it. The bloodlines are stronger when we have many different family lines.” He said and folded his arms as he looked at her.
His eyes stayed glued to hers and he never blinked. He was standing his ground as Alpha and since she was obviously of Alpha stock, she had just become the only suitable mate for him in the pack. He watched her as she approached the drawing on the floor and stiffened. The moment she kicked the rock he sprang into action. “Careful!” he growled and retrieved the rock then carefully placed it back in the circle. “It’s all I have left of my daughter, get away from it before you ruin it.” He commanded. Flashes of great concern betrayed the annoyance in his eyes. Upon gazing on it, his eyes softened.
“We didn’t have any paper so she drew it on the floor.” He explained softly. He stared at it for a moment. He missed her so much and it still ate at him that he had to kill her himself. He squeezed his eyes shut and shook his head to kill the memory the opened them again. He grabbed London’s arm and pulled her away from the drawing, “Just get away from it.” His tone was back to annoyance. As an added thought he spat, "And stop that itching! It's getting on my nerves...you have fleas or something? We have a soap for that."

London stifled a squeal of indignation as he grabbed her arm and pulled her away, making her stumble slightly with the strength in which he yanked her. His face looked angry and he seemed like he was about to burst with temper. She took a deep breath and stepped back away from him, not that the short distance she put between them would be any benefit if he attacked, he was much bigger and much stronger than her. But it wasn't a physical attack that came her way, rather a verbal and she felt her own face flash red with her own temper.
"How dare you!" she almost spat at him, stepping up right in front of him, almost in his face, or rather she would have been in his face if he wasn't so much taller than her. "Fleas, you are implying I have fleas."
She raised a hand and slapped him hard across the face "You are rude and arrogant and a drunked" she yelled in his face.
"I wouldn't want to join this pack if its the last pack on earth" she breathed heavily, her hands clenching into fists "Are you so far gone that you cannot see one too young to control the change"
She whirled and started for the door, as she reached it she turned back to face him, her eyes dancing with anger "Or maybe you don't even realise its a full moon tonight, but don't bother your alcohol addled head about it, I would rather take my chances with the vampires"
She spun back around and marched out the door into the room beyond where everyone was staring at her.
"What are you looking at?" she snapped as she started to march across the room.

It was something new to Lukias to see one so old who still has trouble controlling the change and to have them itch because of the impending full moon. It slightly confused him for a moment but her look of indignation was classic. He didn't know if he should laugh or not. He certainly wanted to. He stared at her as she spat insults at him.
She didn't know him. She didn't know who he was or what he went through to keep the pack together. She acted like she didn't know that a Lycan couldn't keep a drunk on for more than a few minutes and that most of the time it just wasn't worth the effort. So he let his hair down tonight. That didn't make him a drunkard. He was leader of one of the only surviving packs on the planet, mostly because he took in refugees. Not many pack leaders would take in strays, but he did to keep the species alive.
Now he was angry but amused at the same time. He needed to put her in her place and he knew a very good way to do that. She was not about to get away. This ball of fire was going to be his mate whether she wanted to or not and it was about time she learned her place. Right here and now.
"Oh no you don't." he growled and closed the distance between the two of them in two strides. He grabbed her around the waist and picked her up off the floor. Two strides took him from the door to his bed where he sat on the edge, unceremoniously draping her over his lap. "It's time you learned your place, missy." he growled as he held her fast so she couldn't move from her position. He lifted one of his large hands and brought it down with a slap on her bum. "I am in charge here." he growled as he lifted his hand and brought it down again, "I am pack leader and you will learn your place. If you are going to act like a child, I will treat you like a child." he informed her as he soundly spanked her. "You are going nowhere, do you hear me?" He raised his hand again and waited for an answer.

"Get your hands off me" London screamed as the alpha grabbed her hard around the waist and lifted her feet from the floor.
She kicked her legs and grabbed at his arm, her nails digging into his flesh hard as she tried to pry his arms from around her waist. She didn't realise he had walked into his room again until he sat on the bed heavily, her body kind of just draping over his legs. She squirmed and tried to slide off from the floor but his grip was too tight.
As his hand fell onto her ass she squealed, the sound resembling somewhat that of a small pig. She fought hard to escape, her fists pounding into the side of his thigh and her legs trying desperately to kick him in the shin.
His slaps kept falling on her as she screamed, his words barely registering in her mind but her own anger bubbled bitter and hot, fierce thoughts of hurting him burning in her mind.
He stopped hitting her, waiting for an answer but all she could think was that her father would never strike her like that.
She took a deep breath and the words that had been searing her brain came out in a low hiss "How dare you touch me?" -deep breath- "You good for nothing drunken ass" - deep breath- "If you fucking slap me again I will....."
She paused not knowing what to say, she bit her lip, she was so angry that her fists were balled into fists and her body shook with her temper. She took a deep breath and continued to rant.
"How dare you treat me this way?" -deep breath- "My father would never treat me this way, he was a better alpha than you" - deep breath- "He would never hurt me" - slightly shaky breath- "He would never hit me, not ever, he wouldn't punish me because I was his......"
The large tears fell hot down her cheeks, the tears that hadn't come since she had found all of her family murdered.
"I was his princess" she finished the last with a hiccup and started to cry uncontrollably, the sobs shook her body and the tears streamed down her cheeks leaving streaks over her faint freckles.

Lukias lifted an eyebrow at London’s behavior. She was truly acting like a like a child; a spoiled rotten child who had been raised in a completely different world. How could she be so naïve and still have survived?
“You’re going to what?” he blurted out then let his hand drop one more time. Oddly, spanking her was turning him on. He was becoming aroused and if she did not feel it against her belly, she was not paying attention. He left his hand resting on her ass.
He listened to her babble and cry. The look on his face was one of ‘What the fuck?’. He suddenly picked her up and plopped her on the bed on her back. “A princess?” he growled and pinned her down with his body, pinning her hands above her head. “You expect to be treated like a princess?” He could feel his manhood grinding against her every time he moved and fought to control his impulse to rip her clothes off and make her his.
“How dare me? How dare you call me a drunk, you don’t know me and you know it’s impossible for a Lycan to become an alcoholic, you little bitch.” He hissed in her face. “I don’t need a princess, Princess. I need a strong alpha bitch. You don’t know me! You don’t know what I got through to keep this pack together; to keep the bloodlines flowing!” he suddenly growled in frustration. His arousal was getting worse but he needed to teach her a lesson.
“”Stop blubbering like a baby and start acting like the strong alpha bitch stock that you are!” he demanded. He grinded his hips against her and groaned, “You see? You see what you do to me? Be what you are meant to be willingly or I will break that fiery spirit of yours and that would be too bad…because I like it…” At any moment, he was going to have to rip her clothes off and claim her for his own, either that or go out and take it out on the rest of the pack.
