Her hair is like silk, dark and long. Sol's eyes are the most mysterious thing about her, since she is basically an open book. She has one green eye and one blue eye, they call it heterochromia. Solstyce has complete heterochromia, which means one iris is a completely seperate color from the other. It gets her strange looks but she doesn't mind. She has abnormally small hands, much like that of a child, since her turning stopped her aging, her hands never grew into the adult body she has now.
Attitude: In Solstyce's mind, she is just herself, she doesn't keep up with fashion trends or much of anything really. She is very child-like and enjoys acting as such. She is constantly in search of someone to be her protector, or a mentor of a sort. She never really had a family, even before the Apocalypse, and even less so now. Sol survived said Apocalypse by resting with her Maker, sleeping for a little less than seventy years. She fears next to nothing, though the Council terrifies her. Her attitude toward life is like that of a child, live it for the day, or in her case night, and don't let others opinions bother you in the slightest. She enjoys what she has while she has it, but doesn't mourn what she's lost.

Solstyce has a weakness to iron, or steel, she isn't sure why, but she does. She also cannot lie, but she can weave tales of truth interspersed with falsehoods. Finally, Sol has a bit of a temper problem like a child, she throws tantrums that cause a lot of damage, she cannot control herself during these tantrums and has no recollection of what happens during them.
History: Born in June of 1987, Solstyce was a quiet baby, her mother passed in the night after her birth, she never woke to hold her little girl. Solstyce's father was deeply pagan and said that though her birth was bloody, Solstyce's, who was born on the Sabbat, life would be fullfilling. While growing up Solstyce was a wild child, and loved nature, especially at night or evening. Her father has to constantly gaurd and watch her to make sure she was still virtuous. Sol's life growing up passed uneventfully, until her 23rd year of life. That is when she met Darius. He was sweet and funny and she thought she was in love. Though her father wondered, why did they only see him at night and why did he never eat? Soon Sol's father got his answer. He krept after Darius, curious about why he left so early in the night, only to find him feeding on someone, draining the life from them. He called out, when he did, Darius moved and her father caught a glimpse of the face of the victim. It was Solstyce, her face deep in the throes of passion. Enraged, her father threw himself at Darius and in that moment, Sol was released from the glamour that Darius had put on her, she screamed at her father that she loved Darius, but to no avail. She rushed into the fray and tried to stop them, only to be slashed by her father's knife, who swung it, she did not see. She couldn't see or feel anything but the excruiating pain. Everything went black for her.
When she woke, she lay in a bed. Disoriented, she sat up and came face to face with her maker. Darius explained that she had suffered a life threatening blow, and at her father's consent, he'd changed her. He explained that he was an immortal, a Vampire. Horrified by what she'd become, Solstyce ran. She fled her small Oklahoma home and never returned, Darius went with her, teaching her for a year. In that year she learned what it meant to be Vampire, and what she had to do to survive. Darius had an odd way of explaining how things worked and the hierarchy of vampires. She listened with everything she had, soon realizing that he'd changed her to save her. After traveling for months, they caught wind of something new, something shifting, and went into hiding. They slept the sleep of the undead, planning to wake in several hundred years, only Sol woke up before it was time. Now she is loose in this New Vegas, unsure of herself and of how to survive.

Rp Sample: Solstyce woke with a start, jolted by an outside force. She turned over and opened her eyes, looking for him, Darius, her Maker and Best Friend. He wasn't next to her, their double coffin was empty, save for her. She threw off the lid and rose quickly, it was completely dark, moonhigh was upon them, and she was lost. They'd gone to sleep, expecting to sleep for years. How long have we been sleeping? She muttered to herself. She felt around for something that would shed light into the darkened room, though she had no need of it, she was still attached to her mortal ways. Finally finding a candle, she lit it and saw that everything around her was different. When they'd gone to sleep, there had been a house and cellar around them. Now there was nothing, just a lot of vegetation and crumbling buildings. Sighing, she dusted off her tattered dress, and finger combed her long dark hair. She walked to the wardrobe, searching for a new dress. Unfortunately, all the clothes she'd stocked away were mildewed or crumbled to dust when she touched them. Sighing, and now clothesless and homeless, she decided that she could explore in the dress she had on, though she figured normal people wore shoes. She searched for a pair of shoes and came up with a pair of soft soled moccasians that Darius had bought for her right before they'd fallen asleep. Slipping them on, Solstyce climbed the rickety stairs to emerge into the night. Only, she didn't reach the outside world, the doors to the cellar were stuck, so now Sol had to figure out a way out for herself.
Solstyce sat on the edge of the coffin made for two, looking at the ceiling, it was dirt, but reinforced with beams interspersed through the room. Cocking her head, Solstyce realized that Darius must have made this room soundproof. She looked around the floor, it was dirt also, but it felt like it was different. Sol sighed again and looked at the ceiling again. She decided that she would try to dig through the ceiling. After taking off her shoes, she scaled the wall and felt along the ceiling for a weak spot. After locating the weak spot, she started digging. She hated dirt, and being dirty, but she bucked up and dealt with it. Sighing about half way through, she took a break, incredibly thirsty and still sleepy. Yawning, she set back to work, trying to break out of the cellar that she was afraid soon would become her tomb.
After about three hours, Solstyce finally felt the earth give, and smelled fresh air, smiling she dug the rest of the way and burst out of the ground. She reveled in the moonlight, in the breeze. Her tattered dress blowing around her thighs and knees. Long dark, knee length tresses fanning out like a silk blanket. Solstyce turned her face up to the sky, drinking in the moment and what it felt like to live again. Her fears for her Maker momentarily subsided as she wildly danced on what used to be his home. Sol stopped and looked around, suddenly unsure of herself, and the world around her. Everything was so different and she didn't know what to do.
