Physical Description: Rhys is a powerhouse of muscular fortitude. He does not have one ounce of fat on his body and he is built like a brick house. He is 6’6” tall with his dark brown hair all but shaved. His body is littered with tribal tattoos. He has blue eyes with flecks of brown in them and a dark chocolate ring around the blue irises which causes them to have a very unique look to them.
Attitude: Rhys is a slave to a cage master so he seems angry all the time. He is forced to fight but all he wants is his freedom. He has difficulty showing his emotions, especially around the time of the full moon. Deep in his heart he has a love that is so deep it makes him ache painfully when he allows himself to think of this long lost love. He blames himself for every day he does not escape to go find her. He plans to find his freedom one day, find her, and beg her to forgive him. It makes him strong and confident, knowing one day, he will be free.
Abilities: He is a Lycan, basic lycan abilities and weaknesses and exceptional hand to hand fighting skills from being forced to fight for so many years.
History: Rhys was born to the Lycan pack in New York. They stayed well hidden and he grew up in the old subway tunnels under the city. When he was very young, a little girl was brought to the pack and placed with a family. She was a pup too and she was his age. He immediately took a liking to her. He found all girls to be ickly, all but his girl, she was beautiful. As he grew up with his little playmate, he began to make plans too grow up, go through his lunar ceremony and take her as his mate. It was all he dreamed about. He loved her and could not remember a moment when he didn’t.
Rhys began to hear stories of some of the boys disappearing when he was about 16 years old. The adults were worried and so was he. He kept a close eye on Delsenora, that was her name, the most beautiful name ever spoken. One night when they were outside at night, looking up at the moon, he suddenly grabbed her and kissed her. It was his first and only kiss. “I would follow you to the ends of the earth, Dels. I love you.” He had uttered those words that he had rehearsed a million times over his lifetime.
That is when she told him that some of them were leaving New New York and she wanted him to go with them. He promised he would and that he would meet them at the time and place she gave him. He planned to meet her but on his way back to the den, someone grabbed him and put a bag over his head. He was knocked out. He woke up in a cage with some other boys from his pack and a couple he didn’t recognize. In the morning a man with a whip came and took them out of the cage and began teaching them how to fight. Every day was the same. Wake, eat, fight, sleep. If you stepped out of line or even spoke a word, you were whipped to within an inch of your life or jabbed with a cattle prod. One day, they were loaded up in steel wagons, in chains and moved to a different location. That was when he saw the older men being thrown into fighting cages and forced to fight to the death. There was one in particular who had the bite mark of an alpha on his shoulder. He was kept in chains. He was a Lycan.
As soon as he was old enough, Rhys was put into lower ranking cage matches and forced to fight. They were not to the death but close enough to it. The contenders who signed up for battle killed the other boys from his pack one by one. This went on for years, he was always paired with those with similar weight and size but he always won. He had to win. He needed to find his freedom and go find his Dels. On his 28th birthday, he was put into the cages with the older fighters. Those in their prime were kept here. That meant his fights were about to get more ugly. That is when he met Joshua.
Joshua was a Lycan and he knew that Rhys had been watching him. He pulled him aside and asked him why. He told him. The Lycan was angry that Rhys was a born pup and immediately took him under his protection. On the next full moon, he was secretly given what he always wanted. Joshua bit him just before his cage match with a human since the cage master did not know Rhys was a lycan. Rhys tasted his first blood during that match and instantly transformed, just has he had seen Joshua do a thousand times. He ate the human right in front of the audiences eyes. During the event, Joshua escaped.
After that, Rhys was kept in chains and became the star attraction. No one could beat him and no one ever has come close. He brings big money to the cage master and since Joshua escaped, he keeps a close eye on Rhys. Rhys acts like he doesn’t want to escape but he knows he will, even if it means eating that foul fat man who calls himself the Cagemaster. Recently they rolled into a new city. Rhys has lost track of how many places they have been and he really doesn’t care about all the excitement everyone is talking about being in New Vegas. All he knows is that this is his last stop and he will escape…soon.

Rp Sample: Rhys stumbled as his shackles tripped him on the stairs to the fight cage he was being dragged to. His body was covered in the oils they slicked on him before every fight to keep his opponent from grabbing him. His hands were shackled together as well and he looked at the ground and he navigated the short stairs leading to the hollow platform. He could hear the cheering and jeering from the crowd as the gate creaked open.
As Rhys stepped into the ring he could hear the announcer introduce him as “The Viper” and a hush came over the crowd. “Forget it. I didn’t know it was him.” The half naked man in the ring protested and move to the other door. “Let me out, I forfeit, keep the money. Just fucking let me out.” He demanded. The gate was opened and he was released. Rhys stood in the center of the ring, looking at the floor as his chains were removed.
“Any other takers?” The announcer shouted. The cheering began again with the name Viper being chanted over and over again. Rhys hated that, his last name was Vipere, not Viper… He barely listened to the crowd or the announcer. All he needed was to hear the bell to know it was time to fight and since there was no opponent, he had a moment to rest. He just looked at the floor until he caught a scent. It was familiar…it was…Lycan. His head jerked up and his eyes darted around. Desperately he searched for something familiar. Suddenly he was hit from behind. “Time to fight! Get ready.” The Cagemaster was glaring at him. He looked up to see a big man with no hair and fingers like daggers grinning at him. Rhys knew this was going to be painful and the next week or so would be agonizing if those things were as sharp as they looked. He sighed and readied himself for battle.
