The Zombies came out of nowhere it seemed as their small group was getting closer to what they hoped would be a safe place to stop for a while.. Leanne had told them that she'd heard Rumors of a huge underground city where it was safe and protected from Vampires. They had been moving steadily west for many turns of the moon and all were nearing exhaustion. Out of the 15 they had started with only 6 remained. Leanne never let them give up the hope of finding a better place. She'd seen Delsenora and her own daughter through their moon ceremony when they chanced upon some rouge humans. It had been a feast, there last in a long while.
The winds shifted suddenly bringing with it the rotted stench of the living dead and Leanne had forced them to run for the wall that had just barely come into sight.. They didn't question her command they ran as the Zombie hoard over came them. Delsenora was ahead of the others and had taken one moment to look back only to see her Foster mother go down a zombie tearing into her throat. The urgency was clear in her foster mothers eyes and she turned and ran on.. it would be the last she'd see of her foster family.
100 yards and closing in on the wall Delsenora was running blind and didn't see the yawning maw that had opened up in the earth just before she fell through it, plummeting down into the darkness below and landing in an ungraceful heap
Delsenora groaned weakly as she tried to get herself upright after several long moments. "What the...where the hell am I?" She muttered and blinked trying to get her eyes to focus. The darkness surrounded her and strangely she felt safer for it. Her body was healing quickly from the fall and she was able to sit up after a few more moments. Looking up she could see the opening above where she'd entered into this subterranean level of somewhere. A barely discernible noise to her right had her back peddling till her back was against the rocks. She swallowed and blinked trying to see what might be with her down here. She couldn't have just like landed on something soft like feathers.. Her body ached not only from the fighting above but the crash landing below.
Delsenora sniffled suddenly recalling her family had just been torn asunder by stupid mindless Zombies and she had ran. Forgetting about the noise and everything else she just gave in to the sadness that swamped her completely. A sob tore from her and she shuddered as her emotions swelled to breaking point. They were so close to finding a new place.. a safer place. They had made it more then half way across the wastelands to end up dead.

Lukias was searching once again for his mate. She had disappeared without a word one night, pups in her belly, without a word. It didn't sit well for him that she came into his life like a thief in the night and left the same way, taking precious cargo with her. It saddened him. He was still uncertain if there was foul play.
On this night, he decided to search the outer reaches of the lair. The catacombs that lead into the Undercity were well guarded. And while his scouts were good, there was still a chance that she had gotten past them. It had been months and there was little hope but it kept him busy. It kept his mind off the loss of so many in his pack and his immediate family, off the worries of his pack, off his growing lusts due to him being a pack leader with nowhere to put his hungers. He could hear soft foot falls behind him and knew he was being followed. Probably by his second in command. He knew he would be followed when he strayed from the common areas. It was protocol. Nothing was to put Lukias in danger now that his heirs had disappeared with the vanishing of their Mum. He sighed as he pushed the thought away again. His stomach growled angrily, reminding him once again that he was not eating enough. He was certain his shadow heard it too. He would hear about it soon enough. Up ahead were the exits from the Undercity that lead out into the wastes. This was his destination. Usually, it was quiet as can be. The zombies usually just sauntered past the well camouflaged air vents that had been put in when the pack took over. That is why it surprised him when he felt dirt rain down on his head and heard a crashing noise. By instinct he dove out of the way and transformed into his lycan form. Something hit the ground hard before he was finished, but it didn’t move before his transformation was complete. He didn’t move either. That is until he caught the scent of an unfamiliar shewolf.
Lukias moved slowly, inhaling the scent of the woman. She seemed hurt but healing fast, verifying that she had indeed met the call of the moon and was not merely a pup. As she moved away from the sound of his movement, he continued to move slowly toward her. He could see another out of the corner of his eye but that scent was familiar, safe, welcome. When the girl began to cry, his face softened but he remained on guard. His powerful body reeked of leadership as a slow growling whine of warning released from his throat to let the woman know he was there and not to make any sudden moves. If she was indeed a child of the moon, raised in a pack, and not just some rogues innocent victim left to wander the wastes, she would recognize the message. He sniffed at her arm before moving closer. A sound caused him to look to the side momentarily before he turned back to look into the face of the stranger. He tears saddened him and he could tell she had been through something not unlike what many of the pack had seen. Loss…He sniffed her filthy face then gently licked a salty tear from her damp cheek with a soft whine of understanding to let her know she was safe and there was a kindred pack to help her. He sat back on his haunches and transformed again. “I’m Lukias, what’s your name?” He asked softly in his rich baritone voice.

Zavier followed the Alpha just close enough, making sure to not appear too conspicuous. He walked with his arms casually behind his back, his head hung low. He wore only a pair of torn tan cargo pants which draped loosely over his black boots. Zavier knew both items would be completely destroyed if he were to transform but years of experience had led him to believe it as a necessary price for the ultimate power. It wasn't uncommon to find Lycan in human form in the nude and he wore them out of novelty rather than necessity. He would look up briefly, now and again, to gauge his distance and adjust his speed appropriately so as to give Lukias his space. Life in the Undercity had always been less than desirable, certainly nothing anyone wished for, and with the recent disappearance of the Alphess, and more importantly the unborn pups, he wasn't about to let Lukias go off on his own. No, he would not grant the enemy that luxury. A faint grumble could be heard, resembling that of an empty stomach. His human ears twitched slightly at the sound before soft sigh escaped him, believing that stress and worry had begun to take their toll on his leader. He would have to bring it up later, he told himself. The last thing they needed was their leader losing himself in worry. A slight breeze could be felt alerting him that they were approaching the tunnels that would lead one out into the wasteland. His eyes closed momentarily as he took in the fresher air. While it was certainly not what they'd enjoyed years ago, before the apocalypse, it was noticeably better than the stagnant air that often filled the depths of their home. As he opened his eyes, they suddenly darted to the ceiling having heard a faint, indistinguishable noise. This was the only warning he was given before dirt and concrete came crashing down into their domain, nearly striking their leader. Startled by the sudden intrusion, adrenaline coursed through his veins. Expecting the worst and following the lead of his Alpha, he let out a roar as he let loose the beast within him, transforming into his Lycan form. His eyes scanned the dust-covered heap as he sniffed the air, a growl escaping his throat as he picked up the scent of an outsider. He watched warily as Lukias moved in closer to examine what smelled to be a female Lycan, his eyes narrowing the closer he got. Lowering himself onto all fours, he made his way to the side, never taking his eyes off the intruder. He didn't trust those he didn't know and definitely not a shewolf that had collapsed her way into their home. Zavier watched from the shadows off to the side of the girl as Lukias introduced himself, reverting back to his human, less intimidating form. He himself did not trust this stranger but silenced his growls as he kept his eyes on the shewolf, surveying her every move.

Two things happened at once for Dels, her head cleared just enough to catch the smell of primal male and hear his low growl. It wasn't threatening or anything just a 'hey I'm here kinda sound' that helped her stop crying. Though a few errant tears still leaked from her swollen eyes. Her attention back to the present she drew on her sense's as she mentally berated herself for having a breakdown. She remained as still as her battered self could and shivered slightly as he drew nearer to her. Her breath caught in her throat as he leaned in and licked a tear from her cheek, she could feel that he knew somehow that she'd just been through a form of hell and she relaxed at once, more so the tension just drained out of her, as she watched him shift forms with ease.. her transformation's weren't as easy but she was getting better with each turn of the moon.
He introduced himself as Lukias and asked what her name was. Del, gave him a tiny wobbly smile before answering. "Delsenora, sir." she answered softly with respect. Leanne taught her early that Alpha's were like gods and no one disobeyed or was disrespectful to an Alpha. Her foster mother wasn't in the inner circle of the pack but instilled from the very beginning that there was order and ranks within each pack and she must be mindful of that order at all times. Thinking of her foster mother she rubbed at her eyes smearing more dirt and grime across her face. Her nose twitched picking up another scent of a male close by and she looked to Lukias in askance not sure what to say or do. She was in a strange place and was still feeling the damage from the fall and fight above. Her stomach decided at that very moment to grumble as well to her mortification. Her cheeks flamed with embarrassment at how loud it sounded within the walls of the underground.
"Sorry to.. uh have dropped in.. to your territory, sir." she added softly after a moment still somewhat unsure of how to act in front of him. She'd never gotten very close to Zedric whom was the Alpha of Leanne's pack. She was treated kindly but was a foster-ling and had come to them reeking of human which had earned her the nick name Snack.. Leanne kept her close by and away from others that would have taunted her.

Lukias listened to the woman stammer and heard the tone of respect in her voice. So, she was raised in a pack and sensed that he was an alpha. She could probably recognize the other wolf was his second as well. That meant she knew her place. That meant, if she had a desire, Lukias could consider taking her into the pack without worrying about an upheaval in the order he fought so hard to keep with this unruly, lusty pack of wolves. She showed no sign of a rebellious nature and showed due respect to this alpha she didn’t even know. She was indeed a pack wolf.
He grinned at her when her stomach growled and she blushed. “Don’t worry about that. I’m kind of hungry myself.” His white teeth gleemed against the dark tone of his skin and his brown eyes seemed to smile with the rest of his face. He looked over at his second, maintaining the grin on his face. “It seems we have a hungry shewolf who has lost her pack.” He said with a light tone. “Think we should feed her and find her a place to recoup?” it was more of a decision that that’s what they were going to do than a question and he knew his second would agree. Since lycans were used to seeing eachother naked, he had no sign of embarrassment as he stood up and stepped back. “If you think you can walk, this is our lair, the den is not far.” He offered, “If not, I’m sure my companion here would be happy to carry you.” He grinned toward his pack mate. “He’s not doing anything but following me around.” He teased.
He knew his second was just being loyal and protective of his alpha and he hoped he knew how much he appreciated it. It was tough keeping the pack in line with as many stragglers as they had taken in lately. The apocalypse had devastated many packs, causing them to have to merge. It wasn’t a bad thing really since it helped strengthen the bloodlines to bring in people from other packs. His face turned all business. “We should get headed back, sunrise will be coming soon so it’s time to hunt.” With the vampires all preparing to hide from the sun and the drunken clientele from the casinos stumbling home, the two hours before sunrise were optimum for the hunt. He looked back down at the woman, “You coming, or would you rather take your chances with the zombies and the VSF?”

The Lycan's head tilted in curiosity as he continued to watch the stranger, picking up on the unease of her tone. He found it interesting that she knew her place in the presence of an Alpha and addressed him accordingly. Very few lone wolves existed in the areas surrounding the city and even fewer would have any knowledge of pack life and the ranking contained within. This must mean she was part of a pack at one time or another. But how? All nearby packs had come together under Lukias' as far as he knew, so where was this outsider from?
He was brought back to reality by the sound of his leader's voice. His canine ears perked, dark brown eyes shifting to his pack mate. He nodded in acknowledgement before a sigh escaped his lips as he stood erect, his frame contorting beneath the skin as he transformed back in his human form. Now, the night breeze he had enjoyed moments earlier didn't seem so welcome as he stood completely bare, his clothes shredded from his transformation. He did his best to appear welcoming for the sake of Lukias, though he was not one to place his trust easily. "While we're at it, perhaps we can grab you a 'bite' as well?" he replied with a slight grin. His mood was slightly improved by the mention of the hunt. He loved the feel of hunting with his pack, unleashing the animal within in an effort to quench the primal need to feed. Yes, nothing he'd ever experienced was quite like it.
He held his hand out to Delsenora, offering his assistance, "Well?"

She watched him with a slight tilt to her head, though her eyes never quiet met his as she knew it wasn't something she should do. You only met a stronger lycan's stare if you intended to challenge them, her foster mothers teachings filtered into her thoughts. He was being very kind and she nodded in slowly in agreement. She indeed had lost what was left of her pack.. She looked skyward to the hole she'd fallen into and sighed sadly. "Thank you, sir. " she told him and made to get up using her right arm to push off the ground with. Her head snapped up as he mentioned his pack mate carrying her and she shook her head quickly.. "no, I uh can walk.. really." she stammered not wanting to appear that weak that she needed to be carted around like some newling.
The easy banter from the Alpha made her realize that perhaps packs didn't need to be so ridged as Zedric's pack had been.. she couldn't picture him helping anyone up unless it was to cart them off for .. well so not going to even thinking about that. She focused on the ground for a moment until she was more steady on her feet before rolling her shoulders forward. Her back twinged a bit but nothing she couldn't handle.
She looked up to see the other males outstretched hand and gave him a sheepish look. "Sorry.. didn't see your hand.. I'm... alright mostly.. Thanks, sir." she told the other hoping that she didn't offend. Seconds in rank were up there with Alpha's and she knew it. If he was one of Lukias guards then she would be mindful not to forget it. Her belly gave another soft rumble and she just shrugged. "We.. "She started and then remembered it was only she now. "I haven't eaten in a few days.. " she finished quietly. "the others didn't make it.. there were to many Zombies.. they didn't make it.. " Her throat ached with the need to howl at her loss but she didn't think it would be a wise thing to do in the caves.

“Zombies, yes…devastated half my pack, including my first life mate and my daughter.” He said softly. “Half the pack now is stragglers from other packs who suffered the same fate. They all come here because I am the son of Lucien.” He shook his head and closed his eyes, “If he were here now, I wonder what he would think.” He often thought of his father when he needed to make decisions, what would Lucien do? Most of the time that’s what he did and it was the right thing. “Well, you can recoup with us, then decide what you want to do.”
Lukias could tell the woman was exhausted and in need of a good long rest but he knew that any rest she got would be nonproductive if she was not well fed before she began to recover from her long ordeal. That meant they needed a sure kill, young, healthy flesh, no drunks…”The skate park.” He said to no one in particular. Now the skate park was a tricky thing. Often there were parents, nannies and VSF patrolling the park area. It was more dangerous than the park where the legendary creatures lived, and not as fun, but there were plenty of young, healthy teens there that often were separated from their mates, parents or caretakers who would provide a good meal for all in the hunt. He knew it would piss off the vampires and probably set the VSF on another hunt for the den but they would just retreat into the lower Undercity where they dare not go for fear of a gruesome death because of rumors of feral lycans and slags living down there. That was all a ruse devised by Lukias himself. It kept the VSF out of their home.
“Make it happen, Zavier.” He said as he reached out and took the woman’s hand. It was more of a fatherly gesture than anything else. After all, she didn’t know the catacombs and she still seemed a little unsteady. “Meet us in the upper sewer entrance.” He was not going to wait for Zavier to protest or agree because he knew there were two factors to consider, first, Xavier was one of his best, most cunning hunters who could handle hunting at the skate park, two, Lukias needed to eat soon so deliberating a place to hunt was just wasting time. Without waiting, he let go of Delsenora’s hand and transformed. His perfect, muscular 6’ 3 human body transformed into a powerful, 9’ wolf like man/beast with razor sharp claws and 3-4” long spikes for teeth. His eyes remained his own eyes, a soft chocolate brown, his features, while now a Lycan, were still Lukias’s features. While he was a solid, powerful man who reeked of power, authority and strength in human form, it was magnified in his Lycan form exponentially. He let out a howl to signal a hunt and waited for the responses that echoed through the catacombs then took off toward the sewers, knowing he would be followed.

Zavier nodded to her understandingly, "Very well...". His voice was smooth yet masculine. He went silent again as he stood vigilant, listening to their conversation while still maintaining his situational awareness.
His brow raised at the mention of the skate park. It was definitely not the easiest of hunting grounds but if successful, would yield some of the best meat available to the Lycans in this area. A fine reward for the effort it would require as well as the danger it could stir up. Their existence was no secret to the vampires, as much as they'd like to think the Lycans all died off with the spreading of the viruses that infected most of the world's population. No, they knew they were here and had often made effort to find them with little to no avail. Lukias had spread rumor of terrible creatures lurking within the deepest depths of the undercity which he believed kept them at bay. Personally, Zavier liked to think that their fear lay with the depths true inhabitants. His kind were ferocious beasts of legend, wearing on their sleeves the inner monster that the vampires seemed to wish to hide with their protocols, laws and masquerades. Zavier had tussled with vampires on more than occasion over the years and knew they feared him as much as his kind feared them.
"As you wish," He replied to Lukias obediently. He trusted in Lukias' leadership and typically followed his orders without question. A slight look of enjoyment appeared on his face before he began his transformation. He loved what he was and relished in every opportunity to return to his Lycan form. The speed, the strength, the power. They commanded respect. It was something that, while he had learned to control and use with great skill, he would never fully grow used to.
Raising his now wolf-like maw to the sky, Zavier howled soon after Lukias' own song, calling to his side all who would join in the hunt. His ears perked as he heard numerous howls speaking back to him followed by the growling and barking that now filled the tunnel as those who answered the call made their way to him.

She studied Zavier a moment from under her eyelashes, he didn't seem one to talk very much. It puzzled her a little and she found herself turning to listen to Lukias as he spoke of loss as well. She couldn't help but be quietly stunned at his admitting of loss that was as deep if not deeper then her own. His life mate and pup gone.. it was the stuff of nightmares that she was certain. Some part of her wanted to offer comfort to him, but she refrained. It would be to bold a thing to do, she wasn't kin or pack to him. At his offer to recoup and possibly join she nodded slowly. Yes, it would be the wisest of things to do. Dels was fairly certain that she would have little to no chance of surviving if she chose to become a lone wolf. She didn't have the knowledge or strength to do so. She was well aware of her limitations and with her arm well she was much more suited to being part of a pack.. even as an omega if need be.
"Skate park?" She asked unsure of what this was. It was not something she was familiar with but if this was a area that could provide food, well she was hungry enough to agree to just about anywhere. A quick glance at Zavier and his raised brow made her think that this perhaps wasn't a normal place for them to hunt and worried that perhaps he was doing something he shouldn't.. Before she could say anything else Lukias took her hand and made as if to guide her before letting go again and shifting. The ease at which he transformed made her stare open mouth in wonder. But what could one expect being kin to Lucien. His family linage was the stuff of legend and she didn't even know who her parents were.. no one did. His howl made her senses spring to full alert as every fine hair along her body rose.
Delsenora followed his suit but it dropped her to her haunches as her bones shifted underneath her skin realigning and lengthening.Making the change still took her several moments and it was still slightly painful to do. Dels, whined softly before shoving herself upright and shaking the last remnants of the transformation off. She stood close to 6 foot in her human state and ended up being just shy of 8 feet once she was done. She felt practically petite being near such huge males of worth. Her stomach was gaunt and pulled against her ribs from not eating enough and she flexed her left arm tentatively the scar that ran from shoulder to wrist still tight and puckered near to her elbow where the flesh had been laid open down to the bone..The skin of her arm gleamed pale white against her deep mahogany color it was even more visible now than as human. At least as human it could be concealed with clothing. Leanne had worried it would not even heal to this point but it was much better then it had been 6 moons ago. Her own howl was quieter as if she were not sure of her voice but it came from her nonetheless. She closed her eyes a moment and just breathed a deep breath as the power of her form even as weak as she was filled her with comfort. She was lycan and that was enough.
The echoing howls that came from some distance away made her give a somewhat toothy grin. She was going to feed and it was going to be good. Her mouth pooled with saliva at the thought of a fresh hot meal. She wasn't about to be picky either what ever was on the menu was going to suit her just fine as long as she could have something soon.

Raw power and strength coursed through Lukias veins as he ran on all fours toward his destination. He was stronger and more powerful than the female but he lacked in the speed that the gentler sex had when running. Make no mistake, he was agile enough but the smaller gender of Lycan was built for speed they could maintain even on three legs, in the event they had to run with young. He admired that about them. There were many times he had seen females with squirming, screaming infants outrun even Lukias himself, never losing their grip or their stride. It was a good thing that he admired. He made a mental not to ask her where she got that interesting scar but that was one for the firelight when the pack gathered around the fire pit to bond as a family.
Lukias vaulted through the catacombs until they reached the large sewer tunnels that ran below the city. There was no longer anything draining into them as they were from before the apocalypse and all but forgotten. Now the way was becoming more and more clear and Lukias was running full out. His breath came in deep even draws, inhaling upon extension of his limbs, exhaling as his paws hit the ground and vaulted him forward. It did not take him long to reach a large opening with a huge grate over it held on with rusted hinges and a broken lock.
He stopped and sniffed the air then turned to make sure he had been followed then turned to look again at the young humans who were on the other side of the sparse hedges, showing off jumps and turns on their skateboards in the concrete bowl that had been built for that purpose. His eyes darted around until he saw a young man, maybe 16, walking alone near the sewer entrance. Quietly he pushed the grate and to one’s surprise, it did not make a sound. Where it looked rusted and ancient, someone had sanded and oiled the hinges. He stepped out but quickly turned and closed it so he would not be followed. He was going out into the shrubbery…alone.

Zavier stood in the location where the other two had left him, waiting on his pack mates. He didn't have to wait long though as he a large group of Lycan appeared out of the darkness of the tunnel. There stood roughly 8 hungry maws, eager to play their part in the hunt in hopes of filling their stomachs. He looked over the Lycan gathered before him, sizing up each of them. He always liked to know what he was working with...
He barked at them to follow his lead before turning and heading off in the same direction Lukias and Delsenora had disappeared. Having been on two legs this whole time, he did his best to make speed on his two legs before diving forward onto all fours. The muscles in his arms rippled as they compressed under the weight of his large form before being relieved by his legs as he vaulted forward. The scent trail was still quite fresh and was easy to follow as he swiftly made his way through the sewers followed closely by the others. The Lycan moved as a unit, none falling behind the others. As he ran, Zavier's thoughts moved to the newcomer. Part of him questioned if it was wise to have left her alone with Lukias. He could smell her youth as a Lycan and knew she posed no threat to Lukias. Nevertheless, he found his speed quicken slightly as they got closer to the two.
Looking ahead, he saw Delsenora near the grate. Slowing his stride as he neared, his brow furrowed at the absense of Lukias. His eyes narrowed as he looked over her before noticing that Lukias' scent continued through. Ignoring Delsenora's presence, he crept closer to the grate. Making sure to keep his head down, he carefully looked through without opening it.

It was time. The time to hunt. Not alone- with eight other lycans such as himself. Alexander was one of the younger of the many. So when it came to turning it was one of the most painful things he has to endure. But since he has been through it so much- it didn’t bother him. The others were each turning one by one. So it was his turn- he braced himself and then slowly his body formed into a big black figure.
His eyes snapped open when he heard far off noises. His eyes darting around and his nose twitched. The pack was his main loyalty and he would never deceive such a group. He gave his full respect to the alpha. The alpha and a few others had disappeared off. Unfortunately he was very hungry. His stomach let out a long and grumbling growl. He snorted and looked around at the others who seemed to be just waiting for the one message for things to go into play.
Then came the howl from the alpha, which then was accompanied by Zavier. It was time for the hunt. Excitment built up in his wolf like body. He pulled himself onto his hind legs. He tilted his head back and from his sleek muzzle let out a howl in return. His heart was racing he went onto all fours and ran through the tunnels- appearing in front of Zavier. Zavier had turned and was running- Alex and the others followed after. Knowing that they were following the alpha who was not to far ahead. Alex slowed as the others did. There was a female. One who he had never seen before. He looked puzzled and then looked at the others who must have been equaly as confussed.
Alex watched Zavier carefully- wondering what he was looking at. He stayed put which was close to the others. Glancing every once and awhile back and forth. He caught the scent of the alpha somewhere else. Not quite sure was he was doing.

Dels loped after Lukias, her strides were long and easy as she followed him. Her body knew the rhythm of running and though sore it was not as difficult to bear. Her vision keen and on the look out for objects that might trip her up. Running in tunnels was not something she'd done since they had left NY, but it was still the same. The underground held the pack like a mother held her unborn young, deeply and securely.
She gave Lukias a nod and huffed softly as he looked back to her. She could smell the humans on the other side of him though he blocked the way. The area was thick with the scent of them, and it made her mouth water. Her whole body trembled softly at the thought of food. Her head hung down slightly as he left her and shut the gate behind him. He didn't know her well enough to trust with a hunt, yet. But her head snapped up he was alone. The Alpha was not supposed to be unguarded.
Tilting her head sideways she listened to the sounds coming from the tunnels. His pack was coming and Zavier was bringing them. It would only be a matter of moments before they reached where she was. She paced a few turns and looked out the grate once more. She couldn't' see Lukias and didn't know what exactly to do.
Delsenora was re-leaved when Zavier finally appeared and looked her over. She didn't move as his eyes narrowed looking her over. Did he really suspect she'd do something... it made her insides tighten. She'd have to earn trust she thought as she moved back slightly pressing her side into the cold stones of the wall. It was submissive and an acceptance that things were perhaps not going to be all sunshine and flower's like Leanne had promised. Dels watched Zavier from the underside of her eyelashes as he looked though the gate at where Lukias had vanished.
The others looked her over as well and she kept to the wall, unsure of if it would be proper or a good thing to join them. She was rather out of her element amongst this pack of strangers. It would get better she told herself it had to. She wasn't gonna leave on her own.. she wasn't that stupid nor did she have a desire to see another Zombie as long as she still breathed.

Lukias knew he was going to make the pack uncomfortable but there was something about the smell of Kevlar and the steady rhymic hiss of a VSF officer suit that his senses had picked up on. He wondered that they had send VSF officers to the park before sunrise with the intention of monitoring it after the golden orb pierced the sky. Security had been upgraded…
The only thing he could think of that would cause the VSF to increase security was that someone had been attacked by a rogue and he was clumsy about letting his presence be known. The fact that the officer, that he could not yet see, was in a suit told him that it was definitely a vampire. The only consolation to that was that the vampire could not smell him in that contraption.
As Lukias moved without a sound through the hedges that surrounded the skate park, he spotted a middle aged man sitting on a bench, reading a book. He was roughly 6’2 and a bit overweight. Lukias knew he could serve his purposes quite nicely. Obviously he was the parent of one of the youths skating in the concrete bowl that was designed for skate boarding. He was obviously bored by the yawn he emitted and his posture that said the book was not keeping his attention. Lukias knew this type. He was there to see to his child’s safety and had no worry for his own. It would be easy…not the meal Lukias wanted but enough to lure the youths closer to the sewer maw that would entice them, draw them in…feed his pack…and this man had just what he needed to do that.
Lukias picked up a pebble and tossed it toward the unsuspecting human. The man looked up at the noise then down at the rock then in the direction he suspected it came from. When he looked down again, Lukias tossed another then ruffled the leaves just enough to get the man’s attention then silently slipped further into the bushes.
The man, caught up in curiousity, looked around. Noticing the VSF officer nearby, he must have felt he was perfectly safe so he carefully laid his book down and got up. Slowly, he made his way towards the source of the little stones that had beckoned his attention. Upon not seeing anything, he stepped into the seclusion of the hedges, out of site from anyone who would see the dark claws grab his head and twist it before he could even make a sound. Lukias shifted with a soft painful grunt and removed the food's clothing then put them on. He dragged the carcass to the sewer grate, opened it and tossed it in.
“That’s how it is done here boys.” He addressed the pack quietly and spared a glance at the woman. “If you need a taste,” he continued as his eyes moved from one of them to another, “Make it quick, then we have to do something about the officer.” He looked into the faces of each one, knowing who they were by their eyes and their scent, “Alexander, I think this is a job for someone as quick as you. Lead him away, as fast as you can, then get back here. Dinner will be waiting if you live.” He stepped back and opened the grate, “Then, the park is ours. Xavier, when I give the signal you and the rest grab and dash, make sure they don’t make a sound, When the bloodsucker is away, the wolves will play.” He snarled as he moved to allow the others to exit.
Lukias trotted off and circled the park then waited for the others to get into position and the VSF officer to be removed from the scenario.
