Zavier watched Lukias through the grate, his muscles compressed similar to a spring, ready to burst through at the first sign of a threat. His sensitive nose tingled at the familiar scent of the VSF suit. They would attempt to search the Undercity on occasion for Lycan and always left behind a noticeable stench. He couldn't see the source of this smell which made him all the more nervous. A single VSF was hardly a challenge, especially with the odds tipped against them, and while Zavier would love nothing more than to take on that challenge, he knew that the end result would be similar to shaking a bee hive. He didn't like the situation at all.
Trying to keep his mind on the task at hand, he did his best to see out through the hedges. He could just barely make out the older human he smelled, sitting alone on the bench. Every now and then, he could just make out the figures of the young ones skating around, the sound of laughter mixed with the semi-annoying drone of plastic wheels on concrete filling his ears. He watched as the man got up from his seat, heading toward where he'd seen Lukias last. His mouth watered slightly at the faint sound of vertebrae snapping.
He took a step back as Lukias returned, tossing in the rag doll of a man. He picked it up with ease, his razor sharp claws digging in. He eyed it, temptation sweeping over him. While he would've loved to take his place in the pecking order, he was more focused on neutralizing the threat the VSF officer posed and making sure there was plenty for his Alpha first. Turning, he tossed it back to the others, his upper lip exposing his teeth, a barely audible growl escaping him as he made sure they did not take this lapse in protocol as a lapse in weakness. A strict hierarchy existed within each pack, one that sometimes needed reinforcing.
“Alexander, I think this is a job for someone as quick as you. Lead him away, as fast as you can, then get back here. Dinner will be waiting if you live.”
Zavier turned his attention to Alexander, nodding in trust. Their success today would rest with him. Knowing the others would follow, he silently made his way out into the shrubbery, keeping low on all fours. He made a conscious effort not to make a sound, knowing even the slightest mistake could be their undoing. He positioned himself so that he could clearly see the young humans along with the VSF officer. His eyes narrowed, wondering if this vampire had any idea of the situation he was unwillingly involved in. His ears perked as he looked for Alexander to lead the officer away, awaiting Lukias' signal. They would have to be swift, silent, merciless.

The stench of humans and everything else was disgusting the young wolf greatly. Just understanding what they do to and how there society works. Made his blood boil and him glad to be a lycan. He crouched down and was awaiting any form of commands. His body and muscles were so tense with some sort of anxious or some feeling he just couldn’t figure out. Alexander has remained in his wolf form because he knew that Lukias is plotting something. So he may need to jump into action any minute now. He adjusted a little while doing so he noticed the female was remaining quite still and not looking at anyone. Maybe it was fear or who knows.
He couldn’t pay to much attention to her though- he had to stay focused. He watched as Lukias planning began. A small smirk appeared on his black sleek muzzle. Watching his alpha do this to those who make him disgusted- made him feel a sense of pride. The smell of dead body filled his nostrils- as the dead body fell into the grater. Even though it may be good for them- this could draw attention from others out there. But of course- Lukias was many steps ahead of thinking it through. It was his job to lead the others away. Alex knew he would be able to do this and live. Or at least he had a good feeling he could do this. He was proud of his fast running abilities. With a nod from Zavier as well gave him more of a confidence boost. He nodded head and headed for the gate. Slipping out silently- he glanced back before he set off.
“Ill have him long gone- don’t worry bout a thing. Ill be back before you know it.”
He watched as the others got in there positions. Alex looked over at Zavier and then Lukias. Then he scanned the park. Then his eyes found his target. His smirk crept back onto his muzzle. Alex lowered his self onto all fours. Then nodded to the others. Then he started to sneak quietly forward and once he had passed him enough for a head start. The wolf took off at an extremely fast speed- he had caught the guards attention. His heart was racing with excitement. His eyes flickered back and forth as he ran- taking a ton of turns and jumping from places. He didn’t hear much running from behind him anymore and didn’t sense any being. He strained his eyes to hear anything.
Alex didn’t want to take the risk and stop yet though. The pack was really putting all their trust and hope into him. He could and would not fail them. He had stopped for a breather. He did one last sweep making sure that there really was no sign of him. He let out a sigh. He had been going for what seemed like an hour. Or at least it felt like it- possibly a lot longer then he should have been. So he would have to make it back the same amount of time. Stretching out his body and shaking himself. He started at the same pace- maybe a bit slower due to the face he didn’t have someone after him that wanted to kill him.
The black wolf went back along the shadows and dark parts of clearings. Coming closer to where they would all be able to call there "home" or at least a safer place to live.

Her mussel wrinkled catching the sent of human sweat that was.. old? She shook her head and moved inadvertently away from the wall sniffing the air that was coming from the grate. It was Lukias and human mingled together? A moment later he appeared and tossed the body of a naked elder human down before them all. He was wearing the humans clothing. That would explain the mingled scents. Ew...
He addressed Alexander and gave him an assignment and she glanced at the younger were. He was probably close to her age if not a little younger perhaps. His pelt dark black like ink. Her attention snapped to what Lukias said to Zavier next. They were to grab and make a dash.. she'd get her own meal. Delsenora knew not to make a sound instead her jaw snapped shut with a muffled click. She could almost kiss the Alpha but valued her life a little more then that. Self preservation was something that she learned early but boy was she feeling grateful at the moment. Her body all but quivered with hunger, starving for days would do that to a were. She quietly huffed something of a laugh at his last remark about wolves playing while the blood suckers were away.. guess the vamps were just as bad here as there were back where she'd come from. What else was new.
She watched as patiently as she could, her muscles twitching every now and again under her skin. Several others crouched down to all fours and followed Zavier out keeping low. Dels didn't hesitate any longer she followed on their heels keeping each movement precise and controlled. It was a small agony, for all she wanted to do was run headlong through the brush and feast on the hot young tender meat that was just playing on the other side.
The one called Alexander moved off and was off at a sprint from a stand still. Impressive to move that fast in the blink of a eye. She stole a glance at Lukias and waited like the others for his signal to begin.

Lukias knew his pack would follow him without question. He was a very old and wise lycan and his pack prospered under his leadership. They knew if they followed him, they would have everything they needed and survive. Most lycans didn’t even have a wardrobe. They wore the clothes of their last mean and those clothes only lasted as long as it took to shift again. He always taught the young in the pack how to get clothing, how to hunt for a quick mean without notice, how to survive in this new world. IT was difficult but Lukias had seen many things in his life. War, famine, disease and the like were nothing new to him. This post apocalyptic world was different but it was nothing new. One still had to survive. Lukias made sure his pack survived.
Lukias waited until he saw the black blur entice the VSF officer away and grinned at Alexander’s swift cleverness. He looked out at the spotty teens and calmly walked out into the middle of the skate park. There were several whines of protest but he just smiled. “Hey you guys want to see something really cool?” He asked with a brilliant grin. The teens looked uncertain at first but soon they all began walking toward him, nodding and asking what he had that was so cool. Lukias waited patiently until they make a neat little circle around him. “Ok, you ready?” he asked. They all nodded, some called him crazy but then he let out two little barks into the air. The teens laughed and called him insane, “No, no man, just watch,” he chuckled and transformed right in front of the teens. Before any of them could react, he grabbed the closest to him and snapped his neck, knowing the rest of the pack would have moved the moment he let out the first bark. He simply grabbed his kill by the hair and sprinted back to the sewer grate and opened it wide for what he knew was coming next…

Zavier waited patiently for the signal to strike as he sat poised. He watched as Lukias approached the teens plainly, curious as to what sly trick the Alpha would use to lure the young ones to him. Whatever it was, he knew the end result would see them all well fed. Of this he had no doubt. Curiosity was certainly a disease that plagued all humans as they started to surround Lukias, without the slightest bit of caution. He looked around to the other Lycan within view, making sure they were ready. They would have to move with speed, force, and violence. The claws from his feet dug into the dirt beneath him, his shoulders sinking low as he watched closely, sizing up his prey. Large muscles ripped beneath his dark fur as he did so, showcasing the power he held. His eyes remained fixated on the one closest to him; some young punk, his jeans sagging off his rear and some obscene shirt hanging loosely from his shoulders.
Like the sound of a starter pistol signaling the start of a race, Lukias' bark rang out in Zavier's ears. Immediately, he launched himself forward from the cover of the bushes. Every step met the pavement with purpose, propelling the massive creature further on it's course toward it's meal. Having covered the majority of the skate park between himself and his mark in only a few powerful strides, he lept into the air, his long arms outstretched in front of him, razor sharp claws extended like daggers. A nightmarish expression adorned his features as his canines glistened with saliva, his jaws open and ready. Zavier collided with the human whom he dwarfed, slamming him to the pavement and grabbing the boy by the neck. The other teens dropped almost simultaneously, each taken down by ruthlessly and quietly by the other Lycan. Shifting his weight he dashed toward the open sewer grate, the boy in his clutches unconscious from the sudden impact. He was followed closely by the others, each with a teenager in tow. It was like a happy meal only a bit more macabre.
Reaching the sewer grate, he paused, stepping to the side. He looked to Lukias only briefly before allowing the others to enter. One after another, they disappeared into the darkness of the tunnel. Crouching by the grate, he looked out for any sign of Alexander while he waited for Lukias to enter. He didn't feel comfortable withdrawing to the shelter of the tunnel until he knew all of his brothers were safe. These are dangerous times and a lone wolf could easily end up a dead one.

On his venture back the young black wolf encounter some dead bodies- smelled kind of fresh maybe a few days old. Lukias has taught him well indeed- he has listened to every piece of advice from him. Now he was using one of those skills. He glanced around he was in the shade and no one was around- of course no one was. Alex braced himself for the pain. He shut his eyes as he turn- his body shuddering and then it was his bare human body. He let out a small groan. He was breathing a bit heavily.
He through those on and then started to head back to his destination. Alexander smelt more blood- human blood was it? He had a feeling it may be a blood bath back at the skate park. Not that he minded. Alexander was close enough to see the large silhouettes of wolfs. He came closer. He felt very proud of his mission.
”He is long gone and I am pretty sure super lost. No way he will be able to track me back this way.”
He announced as he approached the pack who were all entering the grate. He dodged a dead body and looked around the scene. Bodies and blood- lingered in the air. He followed behind them and passed Zavier giving him a nod and smile. Looks like they had some fun. Alex ran his hand through his long jet-black hair, ruffling it up a bit.

At the Bark from Lukias the other were's and Dels launched into action. They all took off at a sprint and nabbed the first thing they could grab. Dels, wasn't picky about what she lunged for and took the boy right off his skateboard. It skittered out from under him as she brought him to the ground with a bone jarring crash. His breath whooshed out of him across her face and she peered into his eyes.. watching his consciousness faded from them and she licked her lips. The last thing he saw was her gleaming teeth. Looking up quickly had her seeing everyone dragging bodies back into the tunnels and she shifted her catch so that it slung over one shoulder and made to do the same. It wouldn't do good to spill to much blood here.. it would draw to much unwanted attention she was sure.
She turned and joined the others and slipped in past Zavier crouched at the gate. He was more then likely waiting on Alexander she thought and made her way quietly past a few others before letting the boy fall to the ground. She nudged him before dragging him closer to remove his clothing. He was more scrawny then she would have thought, under the baggy clothing jeans and over sized hoodie and shirt. Perhaps it would fit... she wasn't sure. She'd never worn boys clothing before, giving it a deeper sniff it wasn't to bad for a human some form of scent made her upper lip twitch slightly.
Delsenora looked up to see what the others were doing. She didn't want to do something wrong.. but her stomach rumbled and she couldn't help but drool slightly. There was a warm meal laying unconscious at her feet and she was starving. It was like waiting for the nuns to say grace before every meal a small torture when one was hungry.

The moment everyone was through the gate, Lukias entered and pulled the gate shut. He gave Zavier a nod as he adjusted the body hanging over his shoulder. He walked up to Alexander and tossed the dead boy at him and nodded. He walked over and pawed at the older man whom he had killed first. This would not go to waste. One human was as good as another. Whilst young humans were the most tender and most tastey, the older human would still make a good meal, and that, he would reserve for himself. He picked it up and tossed it over his shoulder.
There was one more thing he needed to do before he could lead his pack of hunters back to the den. He threw his head back and let out a feral howl that he knew would ring through the night. It was his way of telling the vampires they were there, and they weren’t going anywhere. But since he was in the sewer tunnel, the sound would ring out throughout the city from different locations.
The sheer number of lycans that would join him in his call would make the sound haunting and ominous. Some humans may even piss themselves and that was always funny. They could not be traced, they could not be tracked and no one dared to enter the tunnels for fear of slags and worgens. The vampires would know of their presence and there was no time for them to do anything about it with the sun coming up in a matter of minutes. He let out a snickering laugh that sounded like a coughing growl since the thought of outsmarting the blood suckers just tickled him. He got a better grip on his kill and took off down the dark tunnel that seemed to go on forever. He knew where to turn before it even approached. The speed he was running, he had to turn before he got to it to make sure he cleared the corner. He was hungry and it was time to eat. For a moment he forgot his loneliness and the loss of his mate and pups. He let out a joyful bark as the opening the lead in to the main den came into view. His cleverness had won his pack another meal, he only wished he had his mate to share it with.

Keeping a serious look about him, Zavier nodded to Alexander as he passed before slipping in before Lukias who shut the grate behind them. In these stressful times, he rarely found himself smiling. He looked over all the hungry Lycan before him, some already digging into their meal. It brought him some comfort to know they'd be well fed.
Raising his maw, he joined in the howl, proclaiming their victory. He was always proud after a successful hunt. Most always pictured them as mindless beasts, incapable of complex thought and acting only on instinct and rage. While yes, they were creatures of instinct who often let their emotions get the better of them, they were not without their wiles. No, despite what the Vampires wished to believe, they were quite cunning.
Most others used whatever clothing their prey happened to be wearing but this time, Zavier was out of luck. Standing a good bit over 6 foot in his human form, his frame well built, he would be a bit too big for the teen's clothing. Luckily, he had a stash of clothes in his room for situations like this. Zavier shifted his grip on his still unconscious prey as he made his way past the others. He nodded to most, bearing his monstrous teeth to others too indulged in their kill to clear the way. His own mouth watered at the thought of finally eating but he would contain his hunger until he reached the den. Noticing Lukias' departure, he barked at the others signaling them to follow before starting off down the tunnel. He made sure to keep one arm around the teen, holding him tightly as he ran, his pace only slightly slower due to using three of his four limbs. The others that he had led to the hunt now made their way back to the den as well. Some would return to loved ones, eager to feel their warmth and share the story of their thrilling hunt and share the meal they had worked for. Not Zavier. As they came into the main area of the den, he looked around to all the others before making his way towards his room.

After arriving back to the pack. As Lukias had promised he would receive his meal. He threw a dead body near him- he nodded a thanks too him and then braced himself for his change once again today. Alexander braced himself again- shutting his eyes and his form changed once again. He opened his eyes and shook himself off. His stomach let out a long and loud growl. He had forgotten how hungry he really was. He let out a snort and then started to eat his feast. He would stop every once and awhile to glance around. He hated to just stuff his face and be super full. Once he was done- he felt much better. Alex responded with the howl which the howl pack had joined into- announcing the victory. He looked around the whole pack once again. His eyes taking in his happy and victorious family. He could believe where he was today.
Zavier gave them the order of them moving. He stretched himself and licked his lips. Then followed closely behind them His mind clouded with so many thoughts. He saw Zavier carrying home some food. He had noticed that a pattern from him. He didn’t mind this at all. Alexander headed back to his room silently and realized how tired he was. Not sure if he would be able to sleep at this rate. His mind was going crazy and he needed to lie down. He glanced around as he headed down the dimly lit tunnels. Passing some familiar rooms. Then he arrived to his. Where he went into and with out changing. Went to his bed and lay down on his belly. Staring at the wall opposite his bed. He did not bother closing his door. He doubted that anyone would visit him. If they did it would be a suprise.

She was tossed between picking up her meal and moving or just eating right then and there. Feeling a little unsure of herself, Dels scoped up the clothing and dragged the boy further down into the tunnels after Zavier had passed.
She didn't go far until she found what appeared to be a small alcove worn into the rock walls. It was here she tossed the clothing and finally gave into the hunger that was pulsing in the back of her throat. She savored every morsel of it and discarded the bones and bits that did not interest her into a pile. Once sated she could feel her concentration waning and shivered as her body lost it's hold on her lycan form.
Bones and skin reformed, leaving her breathless her brow beaded with perspiration from the transformation. Comfortable nude she shivered in the cool dark of the tunnel. Time enough to see if the clothing would fit she guessed. After pulling on the shirt that hung well below her hips she frowned looking at the pants. At 5'11'' she was much taller then the boy had been. They only went down to her knees and looking at the waist it was going to be a tough call..
With a sigh Dels ripped the fabric of each leg into uneven shorts and slipped them on. They slid right off. With a frustrated grunt she tossed the pants away and slipped the hoodie over herself.. it would do for now. Many had moved off into the tunnels and she slowly made her way after them.
Picking up scents that had become familiar she kept going till she reached an area that was large enough for a den. Looking about she didn't see anyone and wasn't sure now were to go. Delsenora worried her lower lip between her teeth for a moment before trying to find at least one familiar face. She found Zaviers room by scent she hoped at least she thought it was his and knocked on the wall.
"Zavier?" She called out and waited

Lukias slowed when he entered the common area of the den. There were five welping mothers sitting in a circle talking when walked past with his kill. The looks of longing at the corpse he carried tore at his heart. He knew there were others who hunted for the women but two were actually new to the pack and would be bringing unrelated pups into the bloodline, making it stronger. He sighed and tore off one of its legs and tossed the rest to the women. They immediately tore into it. The leg would not even be close to enough to fill up the large lycan but it would stay his hunger for a short time. He shifted back into the towering man he was as a human and stood there looking at those in his den. They were fed, most of them, most had clothing on, the heat from the boiler pipes that warmed the city kept them warm at night and they had stolen plenty of clothing and blankets for the pups who ran around play fighting as they always did.
He sighed and sat down to feed on his meal and watched the other members of the hunt disappear triumphantly with their kills. He was happy to see Delsenora make it to the den. He would have gone to her but he was tired and she seemed to be making her way to Xavier's humble personal space. He would make an announcement about her later, but the pack was so used to seeing new faces, she would be fine for now. As long as those who needed to were aware of her presence, it didn’t matter who else new her. They would welcome her, just as he did, just as they always did. He had a good pack, they had a decent life as life went for a Lycan in the new world. But, Lukias had plans to make it even better.
He had eyes on another part of the underwold where a cave in had sealed off a government facility that the vampires didn’t know about. No one knew about it but him. The walls were clean, the floors were dry, the ventilation was better and it was more hidden. There were rooms with doors, places for storage, beds, supplies. He just had to get to it. As his thoughts drifted, he fell asleep, naked, leaning against the wall outside his personal are, his meal barely half eaten.

Zavier gradually made his way over to the area he currently resided. He loved his pack and could sometimes be seen socializing with the others but for now, he just wanted to enjoy his catch and rest. Even a Lycan at his age grew exhausted from constant shifting and without the usual rage that fueled him, it was time to rest. It wasn't much of a room, more of a large closet, but it was home for the time being. He gave one last look out to the common area before disappearing into his room.
The room was dimly lit by a single candle in the corner which sat atop a stack of tires he'd fashioned into a nightstand of sorts. Next to this was his bed. Sitting atop a thin rusty frame that looked to squeak at the first sign of tension, his mattress was pretty much bare except for a thin sheet. He never seemed to have much cause for a blanket and had opted to give his to another, better needing of it's warmth. At the foot sat a pile of clothes that'd he'd collected. Among it were various pairs of baggy jeans, a random assortment of t-shirts. A dripping sound, whose source was indiscernible, could be heard. Zavier had learned to block it out, instead merely emitting a beastly grunt as he tossed his meal to the floor before settling in next to it, crouching while still in his Lycan form. The once unconscious teen now awakened on his back, his innocent eyes filling with terror at the sight of the creature before him. Zavier noticed this, quickly placing a monstrously clawed hand over the boys mouth. He stared at the boy a moment, analyzing his prey. Was he feeling somewhat empathetic towards this disgusting thing he long ago shared similar genetics with? Perhaps a moment of regret for the monster he'd become? Not a chance. He lunged forward, his powerful jaws digging into the boys neck, snapping right through to the delicate spinal cord. Almost instantly, the body went limp. Holding his meal in place with both hands, he continued to feed, using the feral teeth of his Lycan form to his advantage.
Zavier looked up from his meal, his teeth still digging into the bloody flesh of the human. Like a dog defending it's bone, he growled lowly at the sound of the knock he'd just heard from outside his domicile. "Zavier?" A feminine voice called out. The sound of bones crunching and sockets popping could be heard as he reclaimed his naked human shape. He raised his hand, wiping his mouth on his forearm before replying, "Yes?". He attempted to sound as patient as possible, battling the beast within that was easily angered by this interruption.

The sounds from within had her second guessing interrupting him and she winced slightly at the sound of a particularly wet pop.. a socket maybe?.. She silently berated herself for not thinking this through a little more. He sounded somewhat agitated to her. Biting her lower lips she poked a head in further and her suspicion about him still eating was totally confirmed. "I'm really sorry to interrupt you but I wasn't sure about which room I could use.. I don't want anyone to be upset if I lay down to get some rest for a while." She told him rather quickly, her eyes kept down cast to be respectful. Bad enough she was bothering the Alpha's second while he was eating, hopefully he wouldn't be to upset at her disturbance.
She really hoped he could just point her to a room between her own full belly and the smell of blood in his room she was so sleepy, she wouldn't even mind curling up on the floor somewhere. It had been a long while since she'd eaten that good and was quiet exhausted from everything else that had happened in the past few hours. Dels felt like she could honestly sleep a week if given the chance. Her hand fussed absently at the hem of the hoodie she was wearing an unconscious gesture of nervousness.
