Hearing the part about her dad skinning her hide if she ever was a blood slave made him relax more. Shaking his head vigorously when she asked him if he should go. "Yes, I should, but am I going to? Hell no I would never forgive myself if I just up and ran off at this moment. " Relaxing even more he let his hand on the arm resting behind her drift down to relax on her shoulder. Adam wouldn't rush things but he definitely intended to get to know her better. What happened after that was an up in the air kind of moment for both, but he wasn't going to bail, not in this moment. " I will take whatever punishment comes, Your worth it. "
When she asked if he had not eaten here he shook his head no. " No I really don't get out much I was kind of treating myself." Fingers ached to brush through her hair it was so dark and silky. It made him think of the rich chocolate that Gran always mixed up in the bowl. Swallowing the nervous lump in his throat, he glanced back to her. Trying his best not to be a typical guy and stare at anything that might offend her. "That sounds good two of those then. " Nodding to the waitress who popped up like a ninja out of hiding. Blinking as the waitress took the order and poofed just as fast as she arrived. His attention returned to Belinda. " I take care of my sister. We've been alone for a long time our parents passed a while back. " He gave a little of the information of himself since she was sharing with him. It seemed normal natural.
"Is there any other name you are called by other than Belinda?" Unable to resist he brushed his fingers to the tips of her hair trying to keep it as unnoticed as possible. Laughing when she pushed his hand from her stomach and poked him in return the banter. " I don't believe it! I want proof. Pictures or it didn't happen right?" Having prepared to dive back for her stomach as they flirted and teased he was caught off guard when her lips brushed his. Getting a momentary deer in headlights look. It lasted all of two seconds as his eyes darkened to a deep blue. His arm around her shoulder curled her closer. Free hand came up and brushed to her jaw cupping her cheek and chin. The pad of his thumb trailed down her throat lightly. " I'm certain I'm not perfect, but I have every intention of showing you one thing I'm good at." tilting her head with the gentle guide of his hand. He kissed her again. Slowly deepening the kiss to allow for a gentle nip to her lip. Breaking it he pulled back enough to look in her eyes. " You may not have been born an angel, but you are sure as hell an angelic deity in my beliefs." Releasing trying to get a grip on himself.

Belinda smiled softly, this was turning out to be much better of a night then she had ever hoped. It was a little silly, but she almost felt like she waited for this one moment. It worried her a little that he did not want to leave but he should. She really did not want to get him into to trouble. It nagged at her. "We could always meet again. It's not like we do not live in the same town." She teased slightly trying to not only make plans meet again but to give him an out should he want to take it.
"I only hope that it is not, never seeing me again. That would be torture." It would be. Heaven help her but she did want to see Adam again. He made her feel a little more alive in a world that had just become monotonous. The same thing day in and day out. He was like a breath of fresher air.
The waiter was there and gone again before one could blink. With a laugh she shook her head again. "Do you think she even took the order?" she asked. Amused that the waiter was that efficient at her job.
"Oh, I am sorry for your loss. I cannot imagine not having my Pa and Mum. A little smothering at times but at least you have one another and are not completely alone. Is she younger then? " She asked. What would things have been like if she had lost her parents. It would not have been sunshine and rose's that was for sure. It also would have been nice to have a sibling too. She looked at him in a little bit newer light. The responsibility of taking care of another must be tough sometimes.
"Well, a few of my friends call me Billy for short." She told him with a slight shrug of her shoulder. It was not a bad nick name. She laughed with him as they fussed at one another until she kissed him. The feel of his arm around her shoulder pulling her closer was nice. Really very nice. The hand that cupped her chin made her body tingle. Looking into his eyes she knew he was going to kiss her. With a little swallow of trepidation she leaned into him more as his mouth descended upon hers.
She could have sworn, no would have sworn. Fireworks and other explosions went off as his lips claimed her own. The little nip before he pulled back had her almost cross eyed with desire. Her tongue smoothed over that spot as he spoke again. To say it was more then she bargained for was a gross understatement.
The pulled apart slightly, just enough to give one another a little space and she could not help the quite besotted look on her face. Twitter patted came to mind as well. Somewhere in that kiss their food had been put on the table in front of them, and her glanced at it puzzled before chuckling. "Maybe. Could be your one yourself though.. I am going to find out." She teased with a little wink, before taking up a fry and nibbling on it.
Belinda knew her work week was going to be long next week but she would have the last day of the week off. Stealing a sidelong glance at Adam she wondered if he would maybe like to have a real date. Not that tonight was not perfect. She really wanted to get to know him better. A lot better.

Adam was entranced by her words, her movements and the feel of having her close. All it did was make him want to see her again. The thought of leaving had him mentally shaking his head no, he would go soon yes but right now he wanted to spend time with her a little longer then he would go back to his reality. The thought of seeing her again did play through his mind, he really wanted to but could he afford to have her in his and Lizzy's life then there would be Lizzy. he would have to decide to let her have freedoms too. After all he knew the fight and argument that would ensue if he had a life outside of the two of them, and she was expected only to be in his life. Part of him had the mental cringe image of his hand pulling down his face in that face palm fashion while Lizzy went on and on about how he was being impossible. It even had him laugh a little that while he was out with Belinda, he would find a way to worry about Lizzy.
Returning his full attention to Belinda, he caught her words and nodded along to the conversation. " I know that and I actually would like to see you again. " He frowned some as they talked briefly about what it would be like for her to lose her parents. "I wouldn't wish it on anyone it's been hard for Lizzy and I." Yes, at first Adam would seem or look like the kind of person that might be a playboy with no responsibilities, but he was the opposite. Being Asked About Lizzy had him smile. " She's younger. Just turned eighteen and feels like she's going on fifty." He couldn't stop himself when he started talking then. " I feel like an ass half the time cause. I'm not sure exactly what to do. I still feel like she is this little girl in the cute little blonde pig tails and drawing her pictures. I think I got dad syndrome, and I'm not even her dad. " Once again he ran his hand over the fuzz of his hair from his hair cut letting a puffed sigh slip past his lips. " I think she would like you."
Adam felt more than fireworks in that kiss. Now there was no way in hell he was going to go longer than he needed to before he saw this woman again. His hand slid up the side of her cheek to comb back through her dark tresses. Sighing when they pulled apart lightly enough to give themselves breathing room. The smell of their food became apparent as the waitress had returned to deposit their meal and leave them alone once more. "So Billy would you be interested in seeing me again?" Sure he was turning this into a date, but he wanted to see her again he would have to think of something they could do but he had until he next saw her hopefully. Was he worried she would say no? There was a bit of doubt, but he had a stronger feeling. She was enjoying his company too.
He would as well start to enjoy his meal before him while they continued to talk and carry on in a casual comfortable way that made him feel like he had known her all his life. She was very down to earth, and he liked that she wasn't' afraid to get her hands a little dirty in her line of work. There was something so intriguing about a woman who knew what it took to be your own person.
"You know maybe we could go out to eat, see a show? Drop some credits in a couple of slots, or some craps tables? You could be my good-luck charm." Of course in there would be some dancing, eating and various other date like things but, mainly he just wanted her there to talk and get to know each other more. Perhaps a lot more... His gaze couldn't help but dip and sweep over her lush curves once more. He felt suddenly he was luckier than he had ever been. Ah hell Adam always knew he made his own luck but this time, he felt someone somewhere was on his side.
"When's your next day off? " he wondered if he should have her meet Lizzy before hand but though he would wait for a little longer to see what would happen first. If things flopped or fell through, then he wouldn't have to explain to Lizzy why Billie wasn't around anymore. The burger was seized up, and a bite would be taken. As he wanted to occupy himself from grabbing her again as well as to keep him from rambling like he had been doing previously. Not realizing he had been so uncomfortable before.

She picked at her fries while he talked and smiled. He really cared about his sister, it seemed to Billy that she was his first priority. Being only a hand full of years older then 18 she could remember being anxious to do things on her own and trying to get out from under her parents thumbs. Once she completed trade school it was great to be able to finally be on her own. Even if she ended working back with her da anyway. It was freedom. "I would like to meet her Adam."
The feel of his hands on her cheek and playing with her hair had her smiling softly. So much different from the usually heavy flirt she was accustomed too. It was sweeter. "Yes, I am. Sooner then later would be good for me. Slots are one of my favorites. I"ve never played Craps. Would you give me a lesson?" Seeing him start to enjoy his meal she started on her own. The burger was like always delicious. Something about beer and burgers, they just went really well together. While she ate some more she thought about the casino's. It was not a place she came often and usually did not linger but tonight she was glad she did. The green tables always looked so intimidating with the hustle and bustle that went on. Oh, she had watched a few rounds of cards a time or two. In the back of her mind though her fathers warnings of becoming addicted to them always kept her from becoming a player herself.
Catching his next question she finished off a fry before answering him. "I have this coming weekend free. Though Sunday afternoon's I always have a dinner with my parents." Ever since she had gotten her own place she had gone home on Sundays for a meal. Her mother did not think she could feed herself apparently and liked to keep tabs on her. As well as bug her about settling down and all the other things, that mothers worried about.

This was odd; Adam hadn't felt this comfortable with anyone but Lizzy in a long time. He was adoring it though watching her as she picked and chewed on her food, he felt a shiver of pleasure thinking of having Billy around. He couldn't wait to see her again. As she spoke she would like to meet Lizzy, he was even more pleased. Most girls didn't want to meet the little sister, they couldn't accept that Lizzy would come before them. She was his only family and his responsibility, then again. Billy was different and he suddenly realized he liked the maturity that came with an educated woman. " That would be great Billy, Maybe I will bring you home to the family after this Saturday? We can meet for breakfast and then the rest of the day could be a surprise? "
Careful to eat his food over the plate, so he wouldn't end up wearing some of it as the burger was one of the best and juiciest he had ever had. He started to wonder why he kept away from the bigger casinos. The sounds floating around him and the atmosphere Adam started to sprout plans in his mind that was surely going to get him in trouble. He was glad she was enjoying her meal as well. He could relax knowing she hadn't just ordered this for his comfort but for her own as well. He waited for her answer and finished off his burger some fries left on his plate he fiddled with them as he sat back and watched her now while they chatted. Occasionally, the backs of his fingers would brush against her cheek or shift back her dark locks. The feel like satin slipping through his finger tips made him want to kiss her again but, out of fear of being over bearing he kept himself contained.
" So your mother and dad are still alive here? " Wanting to know more about her. " And what is your likes and dislikes?"

With an easy smile she found herself nodding. "I think that could be arranged. Were would be a good place to meet up. My flat is off West street in Uptown. So any of the shops or maybe LeCafe would be a good spot." She offered happy to be making plans. She hoped that this week would fly by. Crazy to want to rush when only having just met someone. Belinda was hardly ever this impulsive about dating. There was just something about him that made everything fall in place. Like it was fate. Or something.
She soon finished her meal too and carefully wiped her mouth with a napkin. It looked like Adam had enjoyed it too and she was glad that he did not mind a simple meal. Each time he touched her she felt the warmth of his fingers like a sultry breeze. It teased her senses and made her want more. If he did not have to get back, she would be tempted to beg for more of his time. She only hoped that he did not get into too much trouble having stayed since he had. Her eyes lingered on his lips a moment longer then necessary as her own tongue swept across her bottom lip. The salt from the fries lingered and she wondered if his lips would taste of fries as well. Drawing back she swallowed slightly. Temptation was such a pain in the rear. Adam was fast becoming just that. A temptation. One she did not want to do without. She did not think he would be opposed to kissing. Bold or not. It would be better to get to know him a little bit more. Common sense was winning an uphill battle tonight. "Yes they have a home in the burbs, Da is always fiddling with the structure and changing up the house." It was pleasant to come home and have him show her new things he had wanted to do or his plans. Building would never leave her fathers system and she did not think it would be out of her's anytime soon either. Creating something as impressive as new buildings was a great joy to her.
The occasional jingle of the slot machines reached her ears as they sat together just taking in the few moments they had. People came and went around them, as if they were on their own little island in the middle of it all. The table was cleared and still they sat on, talking just the two of them together.
"Likes and dislikes. Well, I like the quiet part of each morning before the city starts to wake up. I am up way early each day." Only because she did not have a social life and was in bed well before ten pm usually. "I do not care for coffee. It's to bitter. How about you? What are your likes and dislikes?"
Her worry over Adam, having to go but a moment before was forgotten as they started to talk again. Belinda really did not want to have to say good night to him just yet.

Adam knew the dangers of putting himself out there and bringing someone else into Lizzy and his lives, but he really wanted to spend more time with Belinda and at least get to know a woman for once that he didn't feel like he should be having their IQ tested. Nodding as she talked. he smiled when she offered to meet up at LeCafe it would be a good place and neutral ground they could meet on so she wouldn't feel weird having him at her place before they had a real date. "LeCafe will be fine we can meet there and have some breakfast. " He was excited at the prospect of having her to himself all day, and a little worried at the same time that she would get fed up with him and leave him hanging. Taking a chance and putting himself out there was the only way he could do this.
When the two had finished their meal, the waitress appeared awaiting payment. Adam fished in his pocket and brought out more chips to pay for both their meals and drinks before it was swept away and cleaned. His attention on Belinda now as they seemed lost on an island to themselves in the sea of noise that came from the Casino and the now rather busy bar. He couldn't help himself as he touched her still occasionally his hand having slid to her jaw brushing the backs of his fingers there while they talked. He listened to her talk of her Mom and Dad and the way they were. It made him smile a little sadden that Lizzy, and he didn't get to enjoy a life like this.
"Lizzy draws she's pretty good at it too." He didn't. However, say what she drew or anything of the like. " I like knowing she's around sometimes she keeps me busy and distracted. " He wasn't sure when he would get a chance to introduce her to Lizzy but, for now, he would tell her what he could of them both. "We usually spend Sundays just hanging out together." Smiling as she got onto her likes and dislikes, he laughed a little. " Well I need coffee it's like the energy that drives the gas tank for me. " thinking over her question. " I like the late nights' early mornings to its when I get the most of my thinking done. I also like to be pretty lazy on a nice hot day and just lay in the grass in the park. It gives me a chance to think and clear my head. " Puffing out his cheeks a little, he thought more." What I would really like right now though is to get to know you better." He didn't want to leave it was odd to find himself so consumed with her. " I know I feel like I'm repeating myself. " he laughed some. "I can't help it. I really was not expecting anything like you tonight, but it was a good surprise."
He glanced around noting the time of the night, and he knew he should go having been here longer than he wanted. Only one glance at Billy and he was lost and forgotten again just allowing her to have the time he craved with her as well. Soon though he would have to go. So he started to disentangle himself. " I hate to do this Billy, I want nothing more than to stay." Using his gentle touch to tilt her head slightly back locking his eyes on hers. " but I must go now I have left Lizzy alone to long. She will be worried. I can't wait to meet you Saturday. " Brushing her hair back from her features he leaned down and brushed a chaste sweet kiss to her lips. " until then... be safe." Smiling he released her and started to ease from the booth.

Belinda hoped the smile on her face wasn't really one of those utterly goofy love sick ones. Cause she just couldn't stop from smiling now that she'd been sitting here with Adam. They made plans to meet up and see each other again. Her heart felt like it was going to pop. "That will be perfect."
Having his sole attention on her was damn near intoxicating. It wasn't anything kinky or sexual. It wasn't overly flirty or sleazy. It was just right. She liked hearing about his little sister. Well not so little since he said she was 18. Her mother would have liked her to do something like draw but she rather work with tools. She did still dance though. Her figure was testament to that fact. She almost started to think about finding something like Skins again. It was time to give up that particular little dream though.
"Lazy Sundays sound like a very good way to spend a day with your family." She told him and then found herself nodding a little sad too. "It's alright." She told him as reassuringly as she could. His warm lips brushed over her's and she sighed softly. "You too."
As he eased from the booth she watched him go, her hand came up and touched her mouth where he had just kissed her. Trying if possible to hold on to that one moment and not let it fade away. She soon got up herself. It really was late, she had to get some sleep herself. Her feet floated over the floor as she made her way out and back to her home. Thoughts of Adam swam in her mind as she memorized each detail of his face and smile. He really had a handsome smile.

Jakob understood that his father decided he didn't love him enough to stay with him and went back to Haven. It wasn't so bad though. He missed Angelique but she was having a baby and Jakob was a handful so Thor took him in. The whole council took care of him because if they didn't Drake would have someones head. He liked Thor. He seemed sad but he treated Jakob like a man and like he was his own son. Jakob's ever need was met. He even had nannies and tutors teaching him cool things. The problem was, Jakob would get bored and ditch his caretakers to find some mischief to cause.
Today, Jakob was skipping through the casino, stepping on the backs of shoes, snatching belt buckles and tipping stacks of chips onto the tables. He had locked his nanny in the dressing room in one of the little shops. He was dressed smartly in a mini Armani replica that was made just for him. His black shoes were so shiny you could see yourself in it. His clothes were perfect other than the tiny red dot on his white shirt from when he stopped at the bar for a cup of blood. He was told to feed often so he wouldnt have an accident with any humans. He never wanted to have that happen again.
As Jakob was skipping, he noticed two humans doing stupid human mating ritual stuff. He casually skipped up behind them, shoved his small 10 year old body between them and pulled himself up onto the bar so he was sitting on it, between them, looking at them. He sat there looking back and forth between the two of them, letting his legs swing so that the backs of his shoes hit the bar under him. "You gonna kiss her mister?" he asked loudly, "Or are you chicken?" He picked up the mans drink and sniffed it and made a face before putting it down. He looked at Belinda and gave her a sweet smile, "Hi, I'm Jakob." he said sweetly, "You're pretty. If he doesn't kiss you, can I?" He looked and the man and stuck his tongue out at him.

Melissa was leaning against the bar, not paying much attention to the couple, it was none of her business of what they were doing or planning to do. She brought a cup of blood to her full lips and closed her eyes. Only thing better than blood from a cup, was blood from an aroused human. She set her cup down and sighed softly. Today was her birthday, both vampire birth and human birth. But she stopped celebrating the anniversary of her birth when she was turned. But she did celebrate the anniversary of the day of turning, in a way. She didn't have a party or do something of that form. No. She just went off by herself, and let herself think about her memories.
She was 200 years old now. Still considered a babyvamp or infant compared to most of the vampires around New Vegas. She let her eyes drift to the couple, and give a small smile.They looked cute together, but once again, it was none of her business in the first place. She finished her cup of blood and licked her lips. She set down her payment on the table, and got up. Melissa spotted the vampire child Jakob, and shook her head. She heard about him, and her heart went out to him. He was forever 10 years old. He had Thor to take care of him, though. He was in good hands. The 200 year old vampire grabbed her purse.
She passed Jakob and gave him a nod. "Evening Jakob" She then went on her way. She let her gaze drift from person to person, gambling table to gambling table. She knew several ways to win at gambling, but wasn't going to risk her ass, at trying any of them. Her light blue to pale blue eyes landed on the slot machines. She walked up to a woman and watched her fail at trying to get the jackpot. She shook her head. "Pity." She murmured. The woman jumped at the sound of Melissa's voice. "Slot Machines always take, and hardly give." She smiled at the woman, and went on her way. Melissa's small black dress, was snug against her slender frame. It wasn't slutty, it just proved she was a woman, and had a nice form. Her hair cascaded down her back, stopping at her hips. "What shall a birthday girl, do today?" She asked herself, leaving the casino area, and walking down a hall.

~~~ Just going to have this be another date between Belinda and Adam, somewhat interrupted ~~~Belinda hadn't been waiting long at the bar for Adam to show up. They chatted for a few moments before a child decided to insinuate himself between the two of them. Belinda could not help the grin that spread across her face as he taunted Adam. His little suit was adorable; as was his features and pale blue eyes. Eyes that held her with a sweet smile. Her right brow shot up as he asked for a kiss after introducing himself. "Why thank you Jakob, I'm afraid I can not kiss you. What ever would your parents say about a young man kissing older women." She inquired of him. "My name is Belinda and this is Adam. I think he would be most upset if I were to kiss you as well." Belinda shot Adam a flash of a grin over Jakobs head and hoped he wouldn't be to upset with the boy. He seemed harmless enough. A woman with a simple yet elegant black dress and flowing hair neared the three of them. She stopped only long enough to greet Jakob before continuing on her way. So the young man was known by older women as well. She did not know what to make of that and wondered if the woman was not a vampire. She had awfully pale skin and that ethereal quality of movement that rang warning bells in Belinda's mind. If a vampire woman knew this young boy then perhaps he was one as well. What ever was he up too, here in a bar, unattended. She knew only a little of the Vampires that ruled New Vegas. She never thought to really encounter one at a bar, most certainly not one so young. If this boy was in fact a vampire child. They were rare. Surely someone would be out looking for him.
The small package of mischief appeared and wedged himself between Adam and his current obsession. The woman Billy he met a while prior. He had been eager to get back and meet her, so he had found a way to come see her. At first when the child had wedged between them, Adam had seemed slightly angry. Until he realized it was a child first curiosity consumed him. Then the desire to entertain the kid was more. " Well Hello there? " laughing at the kid's antics. When he stuck his tongue out at Adam. Adam laughed and shook his head. " I planned on kissing her, but I see you have plans to kidnap my woman."
When the kid made to take Adam's drink, he got worried. Oh god he didn't need any of the VSF arresting him for thinking he was letting an underage child drink. " Whoa whoa." Snagging the drink and downing it only to set the empty glass far from the kid. Glancing over at Billy, he gave her a wink and motioned for the tender to head their way. " Chicken?!" When the kid challenged Adam about kissing Billy, he turned. Adam hooked his foot under Billy's stool and pulled it closer avoiding the kid so as not to squish him. Cupping Billy's cheek and pulling her close, he kissed her lightly. Pulling back. " You know Jakob is a genius. I have been waiting to do that since I got here. " The kiss was indeed something that he had been thinking about for a while. If Jakob hadn't teased him into doing it he might have missed out.
So as not to be rude, though he pulled back once more putting space between him and Billy, Turning back to Jakob. " There that better?" Grinning to the kid, he pulled a chip from his pocket in order to pay the tender for whatever the kid order. Adam at the moment is oblivious to the fact Jakob wasn't an ordinary kid. He had noted the woman that had called Jakob by name, and as she disappeared, he was curious as to just who this kid was. Though she had been at the end of the bar drinking while he and Billy had been otherwise, engaged he nodded to the lady as she left. " Is that your nanny or babysitter Jakob?" Wondering why the woman left the child with strangers.
Jakob shrugged and his face fell slightly, "I don't have any parents. My Mama died when I was a baby and my Papa left me here because he didn't want me anymore." he said softly. He didn't like to think about it. His heart was broken and he didn't understand why his father went to Haven. How could he live with Vampire haters when his own son was one?
All the mischief was out of Jakob now. He was reminded of how alone and frightened he was all the time unless Thor, Drake or Gabriel were around. Melissa scared him when she walked by. His eyes filled with fear and he looked away, trying to slink down between the two humans so she wouldn't look at him. She had grabbed him when he was lost and frightened and wouldn't let him run away from the demon who was trying to play with him. In fact, he was terrified of Melissa and wished she would just leave him alone.
He shook his head, "No, she is a bad lady. She tried to make me go with her, she tried to steal me. A demon was trying to eat me and she wouldn't let me run away." he said quietly with wide eyes. He turned to the bartender, "Melissa is in the Valhalla Joe!" he informed him.
"I'll let Thor know, Jakey, you stay close, I won't let anything happen to you. Niether will Elliot."
The bartender motioned to someone across the room and a large security guard moved closer. Joe handed Jakob a cup with a lid and straw on it.
"Drink it while it's warm, you know cold blood upsets your stomach.
"I'm not hungry anymore." Jakob mumbled and pushed it away. He swung his feet slightly, letting his heels in the bar. "I'm bored, you guys got any kids? No one likes to let their kids play with me. It's not like I'm a 40 year old pervert in a 10 year old body. I'm ten! Geez..." he sighed and picked up his cup, no matter how much he didn't feel like drinking it, his young appetite was a little too much to deny.
She glanced back at Adam as he told Jakob of his plans to kiss her. A smile bloomed upon her face. He was pretty good at dealing with the little boy. She felt a bit sad for him herself he seemed not lost so much, but lonely. She chuckled softly as Adam pulled her in closer for a kiss and found herself sighing softly against the brief caress of his warm lips. She leaned into his hand as he cupped her cheek. Even if it was prompted by the teasing of a little scamp. "Well I think I will have to agree with you." She told Adam and smiled down at Jakob not wanting the boy to feel left out. She gave him a little hug, careful not to rumple his suit.
"I think Adam has proved he's not a chicken after all." she said to Jakob after they separated to allow him some spaced between the two of them. Her heart went out for the boy as he spoke about losing his mom. When he admitted his father didn't want him she was quietly angry for the boy. What sort of parent could do that to a child. She could never picture her own parents doing such a thing. "Oh, I'm very sorry to hear that Jakob."
Belinda blinked and moved to shield the boy as he seemed to cower at the passing of the woman. He obviously was in distress over her attention how ever brief it was. Once she passed he called out to the bartender by name and she looked down at him. "Well me and Adam won't let anything happen either. Your safe with us alright." She tried for reassuring but really didn't know what good she or Adam would be if the woman tried anything. Humans didn't really stand a chance against Vampires.
She watched the exchange between the boy and the bartender with open curiosity. Sure she gave her donation when it was required of her, but she never really had been this close to any of the Vampires. Yet here this little one sat between her and her date. He didn't seem scary. More like a sad little soul to her. She shook her head no when he asked if she and Adam had any kids. "No Jakob we aren't even married. Are there no other children like you?" Belinda had no real knowledge of any children either.. those that she grew up with, well were all grown up themselves. She was certain there were children around somewhere in town. After all it was one of the cities rules that all must procreate. She swallowed slightly ok so she hadn't been even trying but, well she was to busy being productive at the construction site.
He picked up his cup and sipped it almost begrudgingly. She gave Adam a slightly helpless look. Just what did they do now? She looked around to see if that woman was about. She wouldn't feel right if they just left him here for a bartender to watch over him. The bar keep had mentioned Thor, Belinda only knew of one that went by that name and he was a force to be reckoned with.
Adam had watched the little boy after his kiss with Billy. Yes, he loved time with Billy, but he didn't want the little boy feeling left out he did, in fact, seem lonely and when he started talking about the death of his mother and the abandonment of his father. It actually struck a chord within Adam causing him to feel rather bad that the kid was here by himself like this.
When he saw that fear in Jakob's eyes, he spoke. " Hey well it's ok maybe you can stay here and hang out with me and Billy. Then she can look like she has all the men in this bar wrapped up." Trying to help to distract the kid from the person that seemed to scare him so. The cup with the lid and straw distracted Adam for just a moment as he wondered exactly what was in it. Then the mention of blood and Adam was a little torn. He was upset that a kid had been changed so young but, then he was worried too and on guard to make sure he didn't slip while he was here with Billy." I think you should eat something so you can stay strong." Seeing the kid take the cup he had given the same look to Belinda, he didn't want to just bail on the kid he seemed so alone and that ate at Adam.
"Ahh, No. No we ..heh." Belinda beat him to answer the question as Adam stammered and blushed and kind of didn't seriously know how he would answer that question right now he just honestly wanted to get to know Billy and see where this relationship was going. He had completely forgotten about the procreation law, and all that was going on he had himself been too busy trying to provide for himself and Lizzy. As the woman disappeared, the bartender had sent guards out to find her, and his attention was back Jakob.
"Well that isn't right or fair. If I did have a son or a daughter, I think you could play with them." He had never seen a vampire kid before so this really baffled him, and it made him a little sad to think just how alone that child must feel. His hand came up to brush back over his short hair, and he smiled. " Tell you what. We aren't kids but is there a game or something you would like to play? Something we could do to help ease your boredom." Yes, Adam probably had a sucker sign flashing on his forehead right now, but he didn't care. He wanted his time with Billy but didn't want to leave the kid with no one to talk to or play with, for the moment, so he would wait to see if perhaps the kid had an idea of what he would like to do.
