History:
Aiden was happy in heaven. He did his job just as he should. He saw his brothers and sisters around him find love in each other and become eternal companions. This never happened for him because he was so consumed in his work that he never noticed anyone around him. That is until the day when two mortals were brought to heaven and recreated into angels. Michael sang when he saw Metradon and Aiden was so happy he finally found someone. He wondered who was the other…The moment he saw him, his heart leapt for joy. He instantly fell in love with Sandalphon. From that day on his stayed at a distance but he followed Sandalphon around. He would paint his skin and eye color into the sunset or form a cloud into the shape of his hand or his ear or even into the shape of him curled up in the sun relaxing. This muse found his own muse in this beautiful archangel. He never approached him because he was not an archangel. He was a simple muse. How could Sandalphon want him? The day Sandalphon leapt from the battlefield, Aiden fell into despair. He pined and cried for his muse. God got so furious with his tears one day, his simply picked him up and flung him off the edge of heaven telling him never to return, as he was a sniveling coward.

Aiden sat on a rock, he felt miserable. He had been sitting there for some time, well hiding there was probably a more fitting term. He didn't want to be seen by anyone and have to explain his speedy recovery, and definitely not by the gorgeous archangel that he was desperately watching while at the same time avoiding.
The fall from heaven had found him unconscious, bleeding from the back of the head, a broken leg and with a split lip and black eye. Naturally he healed quickly but not before a scouting party led by General Milos had found him and taken him back to the makeshift hospital in Haven. Naturally he healed quickly and was walking around by the next day, only to come almost face to face with his missing muse. He hid then, just as he hid now.
He picked up a stone in his hand and threw it across the path, it bounced off barrel and skipped back towards him. He reached for it and picked it up, throwing it again. From his position in the shadows he could see the main gates, he was waiting to see when Sandalphon returned. He had gone into the city, alone, for one reason or other and he felt anxious waiting for him to return in safety. Having spent so long watching him from afar in heaven, it was certainly a more difficult task in close proximity.
He sighed, tossing the stone over and over, the shadows were growing longer as was his anxiety, while his patience was growing thinner. Out of frustration he pulled out a small notepad of paper and a piece of charcoal and started sketching the outline of a upturned smile, the smile of his most admired.
