Name: Thomas Remington
Age: 28
Sex: Male
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual
Species: Human/Hunter
Physical Description: Thomas is a rather physically imposing human being. He stands at six foot four inches always holding himself with confidence and pride. He is built impressively, muscles stacking his body only adding to the physical intimidation that he tends to bring to people. His brown hair is kept shaggy at all times though the length tends to vary. His hazel eyes have a tendency to be very soulful aiding him in coming across as that compassionate type of guy who you want to pour your heart out to. He also has a tattoo on his chest and is riddled with scars from over the years, most of which are just small superficial ones.
Attitude: He takes things very seriously. Growing up the way that he did and always being looked after by his brother, though the bond between them is very tight, Thomas has always felt as though he has to prove himself as a separate entity. He is a bit of a perfectionist and when things don’t go the way he thinks they should he tends to be really hard on himself- always wanting to be faster, stronger, smarter, simply better in every way he possibly can. Thomas is the more level headed brother liking to think things through and can be more flexible in methods, as long as they don’t go against his morals at which point he can give you a guilt trip like you wouldn’t believe. He’s a bit sensitive, sympathetic, thoughtful, and though most wouldn’t guess it, sneaky as hell.
Abilities: Raised as a hunter he of course has the physicality to be successful in combat, both hand to hand and a wide array of weaponry. His athleticism isn’t just in strength but also speed and agility, moving surprisingly nimbly for a man his size. Thomas is an intelligent guy, his memory seems to be able to retain things more vastly than others might and though it isn’t photographic he doesn’t tend to forget important things. He is also learned in Latin.
Weaknesses: Physically, Thomas is essentially a human, just slightly advanced. This means that he can be injured and killed easily enough. He takes time to heal, is subject to the elements, and needs to be sustained on a regular basis.
Mentally, Thomas suffers from night terrors about the night his mother was kidnapped. Though he was still a baby at the time the guilt that it was somehow his fault constantly looms over him.
Emotionally, he has a need to prove himself. It makes Thomas rebel and occasionally do stupid things for the sake of striking out on his own and not being little Tommy anymore.
Supernaturally, be homo superior superior, he needs to keep his blood sugar up or suffer from fainting spills.
History: It isn’t uncommon for people’s lives to kick off with tragedy. Six months into Thomas being born a demon targeted him and dozens of other children in the camp they lived effectively killing his mother. If not for his brother, Jaycen, and his uncanny ability to hide there was no telling what might have happened to him. For as long as he could remember he was treated as the baby of the family no matter how old he got or how much he trained- it was always a necessity that he be looked after and watched over. Though he knew that it was just his family wanting to protect him, Thomas wanted to protect them in return and he was often benched from doing so because he wasn’t old enough or they didn’t want him getting hurt. Thomas’ sense of loyalty was just as strong as his brothers and he worried too, but instead of being able to help, for the longest time he was told to stay put, wasting all that training that he did.
From camp to camp it went that way until his father took off when he was fifteen years old and hadn’t been heard from since. In a way he was glad, as terrible as that might have sounded, but it was just a natural instinct to finally have that freedom to do what he had been training his whole life for. Settling in Haven with his brother Thomas was able to become part of something bigger than himself. He was worried about his father of course and the search for him never stopped, but in the meantime he was finally fulfilling his purpose and that felt good. Thomas has been hunting ever since alongside his older brother and occasionally on his own, still looking for their father despite the trail going cold in New Vegas.
Code Words: CORRECT
Rp Sample: He could feel the burn in his chest as his feet pounded against the impacted dirt of the desert. That impulse to glance behind him tugging at his senses as the looming threat of a danger nipped at his heels. There was something to be said about the satisfaction of kicking the hornet’s nest and the consequences that came with it. Thomas glanced over at his brother who was high tailing it just as quickly as he was, both out of breath and the adrenaline coursing through their veins like hot lava. He just had to be stubborn and follow Thomas crashing in at the least opportune time and shattering his carefully laid plans to smithereens. The notion that maybe he shouldn’t have gone off on his own did cross his mind but if he had then Jaycen would have just wanted to come with him and it hadn’t been made for two people.
Now wasn’t the time to lay blame though and the likelihood of either hashing it out pointing finger would probably go silently. Some might have thought it cowardice to flee but it was better to leave and fight another day than it was to go with suicide via dogma. Thomas was too smart for something like that even if he could be just as stubborn as Jaycen at times, neither Remington brother was usually willfully stupid. They had put some distance between them and their pursuers but that didn’t mean it was safe to stop just yet. Getting off somewhere that would be safe from zombies was the goal and his eyes kept peeled for any natural infrastructure that would provide them safety for a few hours rest before the long trek back to Haven.
