Name: Ruby Williams
Nick Name: Gran
Age: 106
Sex: Female
Sexual Orientation: Hetero...
Species: Human
Physical Description: While Gran has past the blossom of her youth do not think that she is a frail old woman. Her hair is salt and pepper grey, always styled and never a strand out of place. She stands at a short 5'4 and has rounded slightly with age. She is not overweight by any means but rather perfectly plump as a Grandmotherly figure should be. Her hands and fingers are slender though rough from working as much as she does. She always wears a plain white gold wedding band on her left ring finger and never removes it. She is often found in simple clothing with a perfectly starched white apron tied around her waist and is followed by the warm fresh baked scents of her kitchen.
Attitude: Ruby Williams has a huge heart of gold for all those that come into her life and she is protective of those that come to her for help. If you should harm one of them or attempt to harm one of these few be prepared to eat a load of buckshot. She is armed and has a respectable aim that leaves one wondering just how a sweet old woman came to be so deadly.
Abilities: She is the oldest known living human and is not without a few slight tricks up her sleeve. She's a sharpshooter with a gun, can bake the pants off the Devil himself and has an uncanny knack for detecting those of Vampire and or Lycan blood.
She is old though not quiet feeble but being human she is not immune to illnesses that could be fatal. She has all the normal frailties that humans generally have.
Her biggest weakness though is for the ones that she holds dear to her heart. She would protect them at all cost and not regret it for one moment.
History: Born in 1964. Her parents Scarlett and Beau Harrington, owned a large bakery on Main St. in Las Vegas across from the bus stop. Her mother and father ran the bakery with skill, love and a little bit of luck. It was a time of progress that she grew up in and never lacked anything. Her parents left her the bakery when they retired ten years after Ruby and Rye had been married and they were confidant that the two could handle the bakery.
She married shortly after finishing High school to her child hood sweetheart Rye Williams. They had several happy years together working for her parents though Rye unable to resist the lure of the casinos fell pray to gambling fever. Just before Ruby's twenty fifth birthday he was killed. It was believed over his debt to one of the notorious Vegas Mob bosses. Ruby thankfully was left alone. Her family had always made sure to stay on the right side of what ever was going on behind the casino scene and her father was well known and respected.
Many things began to take shape in the late 90's, not only did her parents retire to a small ranch in the desert but she became the sole owner of the Bakery. Ruby met her first mutant. She found him at the back of the bakery, half starved and picking from the rubbish cans. Feeling sorry for man she offered him shelter and food if he could do an honest days work for her. She kept a close eye on him and while malnourished he did work hard. At the end of the day she sat down with him and laid out what would soon become a long standing agreement with all unique persons that found there way to her bakery. Forever indebted to Ruby he managed to save her during the events that let to the worlds demise.

Rp Sample: Unable to sleep Ruby got out of her bed and dressed in the darkness of her room. There were many nights that sleep was an elusive dream and she knew tonight was going to be one of those nights. She padded quietly down the little hallway that lead into the back of her bakery. The little clock above the door told her it was only 3 am. Early enough to get to work on a few things.
Taking an apron from the hook near the door she tied it around herself and flicked on the kitchen light. Her counters gleamed under the warm glow of illumination. Just the way she liked it, she thought with a smile as she started to pull together ingredients.
The flour bin was getting low and she'd have to have some brought in from the freezer, she noted as she measured out what was needed for a batch of chocolate chip cookies. Next came the sugars and baking soda. Ruby hummed quietly to herself as she measured and sifted everything together in a large bowl.
A small noise from the alley stopped her hand as she was about to put the last cup full of brown sugar in the bowl. It came again a mewling sort of noise that almost sounded like a child. Not one to go into things unprepared. Ruby reached under the butcher block counter she was working at and pulled out a 22 gauge sawed off shot gun that was always kept there loaded.
A quick check of the gun and she was making her way over the the back door to the alley where the noise was coming from. She stepped out cautiously, her eyes sweeping the area for signs of what may be making such a noise. It was on her second glance at the rubbish pails that she saw the bundle of rags move.
She stepped up to it warily and used the nose of the gun to move the blankets.. her father had always taught shoot first ask questions later. It was in an instant that she locked eyes with a small blue scaled being with yellow slitted eyes. A baby at that. Her heart melted at the site and she made soothing sounds to comfort the child as she scooped it up one handed as the other held the gun.
She'd find a home for this one too, she always did.
