"I have known a few witches in my time here on earth, and that is entirely not possible. If you think that, then the Pierce Organization is lower than I thought."
Celine let out a groan at the vampire's comment but did not bother responding. She did not know how much he knew but he knew more than she hoped. Regardless, he seemed to know witches and warlocks alike were powerful. Perhaps she would be free of him. The witch began walking away from the store, her heels clicking with every step she took. She breathed in the cool, night air, wanting it to calm her down but it failed.
Celine looked back to see the vampire following her and narrowed her eyes at the vampire. Did she piss her off? Was he going to attack her? Celine's heart rate quickened as she increased her pace. She saw a dark ally and smirked, "Perfect..." If she was going to defend herself, she was going to do it without public view.
She quickly ducked into the dark ally and practically ran in it, feeling comforted in the darkness. She knew darkness was the vampire's element, but she would bend it to her advantage. "Obscuram.." The witch whispered and as the magic word was spoken, darkness grew, completely engulfing the witch; preventing anyone or anything from sensing her.
She would wait for the vampire to enter...then she would attack...

Jace heard her groan at his comment for him knowing so much about witches. He chuckled to himself. He loved pissing off people. He had to be careful, but he knew how to push buttons. He was following her just to see where she went, but when he saw her duck down an alley he wondered what she was doing.
He heard her mutter a word, and he assumed that she was casting a spell. He glanced down the alley and noticed that it was dark. It was darker than normal, and his eyes couldn't detect anything. He knew it was a spell then because he couldn't still smell her, but the scent of magic was strong in the air. He hated spells that covered scents. It made it too obvious.
He walked to the next alley and scaled the wall easily. He moved across the rooftops silently, and he glanced down the alley and figured where the darkness was centered. He then jumped down behind her. He grabbed on a pipe to slow his descent and quiet his landing. He landed with a low thud. He then walked toward where the darkness was the thickest, and he said, "Boo." He didn't have his fangs out, and he didn't need them. He wasn't going to bite her. "If you want me to leave you alone, all you have to do is ask. Miss Pierce."

"Boo..If you want me to leave you alone, all you have to do is ask. Miss Pierce."
Celine swore under her breath at the sound of the vampire near her. It seemed her idea to cloak herself in darkness for a sneak attack did not work. She did not hear him come to her. Celine's heart rate quickened and attempted to find a wall to lean on. The witch began to move silently through the darkness, wanting to escape the dark ally and pumped into something...or rather...someone.
"Shit..."
With a wave of her hand, she lifted the darkness and leaned against the wall...the vampire right in front of her. The witch extended her hand out, ready to chant another spell. She began breathing hard. Oh how she hated vampires. Her eyes narrowed at the vampire,
"Why are you following me around Jace? Did you not get the hint I didn't want to be near you?"

Jace smirked as he felt her bump into him. When she swore he almost said that wasn't lady like, but he held his tongue. She lifted the darkness, and he could see her again. She appeared to be out of breath, and he wondered if he was really that scary. He doubted it, but it was possible with him.
She asked why he was following her and replied simply. "I wanted a distraction. I was too in my head, and it seemed fun for me to go out and pick on someone. Like I said before if you wanted me to leave you alone, just give the say so, and I will go find someone else to bug." He said, the smirk fading from his face as he looked at her.

Celine raised a brow and her breathing returned to normal. It seemed this vampire wasn't a threat...well...yet anyway. The witch brought her hand down to her side and eyed him down and up. She didnt eye him lustfully...she was curious why he was the way he was. He wasn't like other vampires. He was...like a kid. She did not know how old he was but it seemed he did not go beyond the maturity when he was turned...how interesting.
"So...you follow me because...you are bored? You have eternal life and waste it stalking women? How...interesting..."
The witch's body relaxed and she leaned against the wall. She was definitely going to have it with her mother later for sending her out on errands this late. Celine usually had bodyguards with her...she usually hated it but in a situation like this...they would have been handy because she didnt wish to deal with it.
"So Jace, what's your story? Having trouble getting a date?"

Jace caught her looking at him. He could tell she wasn't looking at him like she wanted to jump his bones or anything, but she was definitely looking at him closely. He looked at her as well. She was young to him, but they appeared to be the same age. She was slim, and had curves. She held herself proud, and he knew that he shouldn't mess with her. She seemed to have reached her peak of growing.
She said that him stalking women was interesting. "I don't stalk women. They stalk me." He said with a smirk. He was still feeling shitty, but he didn't let that on. He wouldn't let this witch get to him. He knew what it was like to let someone get to you, and then lose them.
She asked him what his story was and a memory of his maker explaining to him what she was about to do. The explanation of daywalking, and waking up the next night without his maker there with him. He let out a dark chuckle, "I have no troubles getting a date." He said specifically skirting around his story.

"I don't stalk women. They stalk me...I have no troubles getting a date."
The witch let out a laugh and rolled her eyes, "I know you are far older than me yet it seems I have reached beyond your maturity. You say you dont stalk women...yet...what are you doing following me? Last time I checked, that is stalking...vampire or not." Celine stretched her neck slightly and removed herself from the wall. She eyed him down and up again and shook her head, "You have immortality, eternal youth, and I can say a good looking body yet..."
The witch looked deep into his eyes, "I pity you." She began walking away from the ally, her heels clicking with every step. A part of her hoped he would attack her so she could teach him a lesson he would never forget. Sure, he was stronger than her but Celine had tricks up her sleeves,
"Good bye Jace." The witch chuckled darkly. My, my was this an interesting night.

Jace listened to her as she said that he hadn't reached the alloted maturity for someone his age. In truth he had, but he liked being immature because it made him who he was when he was a human as well as now. There was more than one reason his maker chose him, and it wasn't just for his good looks. She told him that she pitied him. He didn't care.
"Live your life well, young witch. Leave nothing you regret." He said to her in a dark voice. His mind receded into itself and he was reliving some of his darkest days as a vampire. He regretted what he did, and he wished that he didn't do it, but he did, and with the memory like a vampire he couldn't repress it even if he wanted to.
She began walking away and he snapped out of his memories and responded to her, "Fare well. Don't let your guard down." He said as he began walking in the oposite direction of her. He wanted to get back to his appartment and go play some music. His plan of going out worked for a little while, but it was still affecting him.
