Playby: Emma Stone
Name:Valene Angiola
Age: Timeless/Looks 23+
Sex: Female
Sexual Orientation: Pansexual
Species: Angel
Physical Description:She has ivory skin with a dusting of freckles over the bridge of her nose and cheeks giving her an innocence and kindness about her. Vibrant auburn hair, with soft highlights of blonde. Her eyes are blue like the sky, that shift with her mood to a very pale almost white at times depending upon her emotions. She stands at a height of 7’1” with the body weight of 120lbs. Slender and yet toned body stature from doing some self-defense training long ago that she still practices. She does not have a belly button. She can be identified usually by the markings of her wings upon her back and her angelic symbol that is strategically placed center of her back right between her wings. Her voice is very musical when she talks so she tends to speak softly and try to keep a comforting tone so as not to hurt those around her. (Image found below of her angelic marking.)
Attitude: Valene is too nice for her own good. She has a tendency to get led into trouble. The desire to help and curiosity to understand the species that at present surround her often lead her off the beaten path. She just does not know how to separate herself from what she once was to the fallen guardian angel she now is on the earth. Her inability to separate her two lives put her in a position of sometimes not caring if she is sacrificing herself as long as it saves another. She Loves for those around her to be light and bubbly with laughter. Often she is drawn to music as it reminds her of the voices of the angelic choir as they all use to talk and share their thoughts. She misses it greatly and can be found occasionally singing to herself softly when she thinks no one is looking or when she is tending the sick /dying in the hopes to soothe their passing and alight their spirit on its way. Though she is boundless in her ability to love and wish for the good in everyone, she is known to be a very fiery woman. Her temper flares at times when she thinks someone is being treated with a great injustice. Stubborn and quite a handful when she wants to be.
Abilities: A lot of her abilities are the same as all angels, but she excels in the ability to heal. Stronger than most due to her once hierarchy and placement as a guardian angel she was blessed in being able to keep the ability when she came to earth.
She has a problem with knowing how to say no. Even though her past had taught her that sometimes you should learn from your mistakes. She still has the problem with knowing when she should quit. Pushing herself to the bring of weakness or incapacitation. These will occasionally leave her to take several days to recover. She cannot stand to see a child suffering and will go out of her way to make them feel better or to help them, so they are one of her major weaknesses as she can still see the unmarred innocence of their souls. Last but not least is her unusual allergy to the sunlight she gained once she had fallen to earth. She burns easily and often the light causes welts to form if she is out in it too long. It will cause her to be violently sick and almost makes her incoherent like she is drunk. She tolerates going into it only for a short time. This is the reason she can be found most often working the night shift or at night.
Valene's signature weapon takes the form of a short sword and targe , the curved blade is light and very well balanced. It allows her the ease of movement without out the disabling effects of a long sword or one larger. It does require closer encounters. The shield is used for defense having it's own draw backs as well when used for protection.
History: Sometimes it’s bad to think you’re the best at what you do. Valene is proof of this fault by far. In all her time of being a guardian angel, she had yet to lose a ward. She stood her ground and always did what she was told until she started to question the decisions of her superiors upon the souls he started to collect. If she had known what he knew and seen how their future would unfold she would have known better than to question the authority and just do as she was told. The saying goes “You can’t save everyone.” The truth is sometimes you shouldn’t save some of them at all. Learning this the hard way Valene had recently been put on probation for previous interference into her ward's lives. As punishment she was told to go and chariot the soul of a little boy dying of cancer away to his afterlife. This was one of her wards. It was stressed to her the importance of this and under no circumstance was she to step in and help him.
Drifting in the shadows of the boy's room, she watched the sad scene before her. She could head the sounds of the machines as his heart rate slowed. She could hear the soft cries of the father who rested on his head on the child’s bed holding his hand praying silently for a miracle. Valene began to become angry at the way it seemed God was choosing to ignore the man’s pleas. It slowly started to torture her as she felt the first trails of tears over her cheeks, she could no longer take it. Moving forward in her ethereal form, she lay her hands on the child and pulled him back from the brink of death. From there she furthered her healing by taking in the child’s sickness. This caused her to collapse and fall into a recovery coma unknowing of the darkness she had unleashed on the world.
While Valene was incapacitated and in her recovering slumber, the child grew dark. His soul began to become tainted and tarnished. At first, he started to mutilate animals, then he began to hurt his friends and classmates. Valene awoke to find that her good deed had not only had her pulled from the ranks of a guardian, but thrust before God to answer for her disobedience. He showed her the man as he had become a serial killer. She was yelled at for saving the man, and if she wished to redeem herself, she would have to fix this herself. Flinging her down to earth Valene was forced to face the man as one of his victims to be. Desperate to return to the graces of heaven at that time, she knew she could do only one thing. Fighting for her life made her realize all the tortures, she had put all those poor souls through after she had saved this dark and twisted man. With the last bit of strength, she had she finally killed him as she realized that she had to take the life she had given. Her light now stained by the damage she had done, the pain she had caused, and the hurt she had made others endure she gave up her plea to return to the heavens. Condemning herself to stay upon earth and to learn to help those that she could and to correct all the wrong she felt she had done.
As the world began to change, and the apocalypse took place, she realized that this was a way to cleanse the darkness from her and to use her abilities to help those she could. Placing herself in the medical field, she at present helps those that can’t help themselves. The gates of heaven may still at this moment in time be closed to her forever, but she can still try to make amends for all of her wrongs long ago.

Rp Sample:Her hand lifted pushing against the door to the ER’s break room. The room consisted of several bunk beds old and threatening to tumble down. There were a few pillows, and blankets spread about as well. The rest of the room held old lockers where the staff kept their civilian items locked up while they were working. Sigh parted her lips it had been a really busy night in the ER, and it was still dark just close to the early-morning hours. The time that most of the rest of New Vegas was out and about. Releasing her hair from the up style she had accomplished using a pencil her fingers would shake out the auburn locks allowing them to fall about her face. What a night, was all she could think as she shook the fatigue starting to form in her muscles. Already she exerted herself working upon saving a mother and her unborn child helping to ease them through the delivery. She didn’t always win the fight but sometimes, eventually she just got lucky.
Walking across the room to the lockers, she slipped her tiny key out of her pocket and unlocked the one she used. Reaching within to grab a bottle of water she kept in her bag. Raising it to her lips, she took a drink before closing the locker back. Moving to the bunks she sat down on one of the lower one. The tops were to precariously stacked to make her feel comfortable. She just knew that if she crawled up there one would come tumbling down and leave her scattered haphazardly on the floor like a crooked legged spider or something. Looking out the window into the new world, she would wonder if it truly all had been God’s plan to allow the change. What had they all done to feel his abandonment at this time? It was then she felt a little anger at him and refused to think about all the flaws she felt he had as the benevolent one. After all didn’t he have his hands full now? Turning to lay back she figured to get a little rest, Something small to recharge her batteries. Slowly, she started to drift off to sleep hovering just on that cusp of a dream.
SLAM! The doors to the break room flew open. “ VALENE!” Scaring her half to death she jumped up and bumped against the upper bunk with her head. ‘ OW!” one eye closed as she looked to the door and the nurse there. “ Carey? What is it?” rubbing the lump she felt forming there as she scooted to the corner of the bed and stood up. “ It’s the mother! She crashed again we can’t get her back we don’t know what to do!” feeling herself seized and dragged from the room. “Slow down Carey, I’m coming!” Pulling her arm back from the vice grip the woman had upon her arm. “ Go get Marie and meet me at the room.” She hurried off as the nurse went in the other direction.
Stepping into the woman’s room, she could see the flurry of people about the woman trying to revive her. “Move.” She pushed one of the other doctors out of the way and stepped forward with a few movements of her hands she was able to assess for herself how far the woman had gone, and if it was useless. Moments ticked by as she waited for the feeling of a pulse. Yes, There it was she had found the faintest of pulses! Faint but definitely there she knew then she would have to expend herself for now. Putting her hands over the woman’s heart, she began to push the infection that raced through her veins out and pull it in towards her absorbing it. A soft glow filtered over the woman’s skin from Valene’s hands. As the woman began to stabilize, and her heart rate increased, Valene was relieved. Stepping back she moved towards the medical basinet. Looking down at the little new born she couldn’t help herself and reached in picking her up after she heard her start to cry. “ Shhhh” A kiss placed sparingly on the child’s forehead glowed slightly then faded away as the tiny infant quieted down. “ You are exquisite. Your mother is excellent. Everything will be fine. “ Sure of herself this time and for once she glanced around seeing that the others had left her alone with the child and mother she started to sing softly. The sound helped in coaxing the child off to sleep in her arms. Turning to look out the window into the night she began to wonder what else the city if New Vegas would bring to her tonight.
