Time for work...
The dark elemental yawned slightly and slowly stood up from the bed. He brought up his arms and stretched before looking over at his alarm clock...7 pm. He slammed his hand down on the annoying buzzing and removed the covers before getting out of the bed. Alexander walked over to his bathroom and brushed his teeth before looking at himself in the mirror. He shook his head slightly at the dark circles under his eyes. He hated wasting the day sleeping but he worked all night...oh how he wanted a decent night's sleep...
Shade put on his work gear for the night consisting of his usual leather pants, a vest, and his combat boots. The elemental opened his weapon drawer and wondered what to bring this night. He did not enjoy the use of weapons...the shadows were his weapons. Alexander shrugged and grabbed a few throwing knives and tucked them into his waist before strapping a magnum to his right thigh. Alexander stepped into a shadows and closed his eyes as he slowly sunk into the darkness.
He appears in the VSF station and walked to his superior's office. Upon arriving, Shade bowed slightly in respect to the vampire. "Sir, what assignment do you have for me tonight?"
The vampire flipped through the paper work and handed the dark elemental a blurry photo of a man. Alexander looked over at the photo and couldn't make out any decent features, just short blond hair. The vampire let out a sigh, "There is someone who is sabotaging our technology. Shade, we need you to capture this man. We are unsure whether this man is the culprit or not but we cannot take risks. Now go."
The dark elemental nodded, "As you wish." Alexander stepped into the corner of the office and sunk into the shadows once more, appearing in Freemont Street. The dark elemental hide within the shadows as he surveyed the crowd, attempting to find anyone suspicious. He let out an annoyed sigh...he hated assignments like this...it was like finding a needle in a haystack. The only thing he had a blurry photo of a man with blond hair...great...
Shade looked up and scaled the walls until he was on top of the building. He looked down at the citizens below and wished he could be a part of them...having fun...socializing...but Shade was forced to hide within the shadows and carry out his duties. Sure, the vampires gave him a great place...but it wasn't worth anything without sharing it with someone. The dark elemental quirked his ears at the sound of...tinkering? Alexander slowly looked over to see a man sitting down with metallic objects. His eyes widened slightly and noticed he had short, blond hair...could this have been him?
Shade narrowed his eyes and sunk into the shadows once again and resurfaced behind the man. The elemental was silent..he did not even breath. Shade removed the magnum from his thigh and cocked it before aiming it at the man's head.
"Don't move. By order of the VSF you are under arrest for suspicion of sabotaging our technology. Come calmly and you shall not get hurt..."

It had been a hot day, too hot to sleep. Veyga had dozed on and off, his sleep when it came was filled with dreams of his parents and their gaping hungry zombie mouths. He preferred night time in the city, the lights seemed to bring it to life and it made his work so much easier, able to use the shadows for concealment. In the daytime the city seemed almost sleepy, too hot and filled with unhappiness. In the day time New Vegas seemed like little more than the compound at Haven, a place where everything just waited, for what, he never worked out. If anyone ever asked him what he meant by the statement that they were all just waiting, he would just shrug and say that maybe it was the zombies outside the city gates as it was only a matter of time before they managed to get inside. He didn’t believe that, but how else could he explain that he always felt something was missing, that he was waiting for something.
He glanced at the clock but the hands had stopped moving, with a groan he got up and padded across the single room apartment and peered out the curtains. The sky was streaked with red and the lights of the city were starting to blink to life. He picked up the clock and groaned, he shook it three times and the hands started to move again, spinning instantly around to 8pm which is what time he estimated it was. He couldn’t help it but grinned at the clock, fixing things made him happy, but tonight destroying things was his goal.
He was up now, so ducked into the shower, letting the cold water run over his well muscled body. He scrubbed soap into his hair then closing his eyes let the water run over his head and face. He soaped up his body and wished he could afford something more lavish than the utilitarian square slabs of cheap soap he could steal from the bathrooms at some of the more seedy bars. But clean was clean and this would have to do.
Once shaved and dressed in dark khaki pants and a tight black t-shirt he threw a rucksack onto the bed and started throwing stuff into it, the now repaired clock, bits of cogs and wheels, metal object and a heap of bits and pieces that just looked like junk. On the way out the door he slipped some optic fibres into his pocket that he had stolen, part of a defunct security system removed from the ceiling space of one of the less popular casinos the night before.
He headed out, walking through the streets with a casual stride making himself look as inconspicuous as he could. By the time he reached Freemont street it was well and truly dark. He hunched his shoulders and pushed through the crowd, trying where possible to avoid contact with a vampire. It had not taken long in the big city to develop the talent of picking them out; their pale eyes the easiest tell tale sign, as well as the unnatural speed that they could move without realising. He navigated through the busy street, sidewalk acts and people easily enough, his head down as he walked with purpose.
He found a narrow dark alley off from the main street, he ducked down it, looking over his shoulder into the bright contrast of the street to ensure he wasn’t followed. Satisfied that no one was looking in his direction he started to jog further into the shadows, he knew this alley well and knew at the far end was a fire escape up 22 floors that he could climb to get to the roof space. The climb was vigorous and sweat glistened on his skin by the time he reached the top slightly puffed.
Once on the roof he skirted away from the edge, although not scared of heights he wasn’t entirely comfortable being close to the edge when up this high. He found what he was looking for, a metal hatch. He silently slid the hatch open, looked around again and not seeing anyone sat down to look into the hole that was now revealed. He reached in and grabbed some of the wiring that was now revealed. He could instantly feel the rush of electrons through the wire, read the information they carried, he could easily change what it contained or delete it entirely, he could shut the system down with just a thought. But that wasn’t why he was here today.
Copper wiring, hard to come by in New Vegas, that was all he wanted. He isolated 3 wires that were not in use currently and ripped them from the hub. With a grin he reached into the bag and pulled out the clock, removing the back he started attaching the wire and the optic cable, adding other bits and pieces and some wheels as he went. He was totally absorbed in his work, adding this and that to his contraption and didn’t hear the person come up behind him. The click of the hammer on the gun only registered as a far off distant sound, not something right behind his head.
"Don't move. By order of the VSF you are under arrest for suspicion of sabotaging our technology. Come calmly and you shall not get hurt..."
He jumped and swung around quickly. He noticed the darkness of the shadow before he saw the person standing in it, a gun pointed at his head. He was now almost eye to eye with the barrel. He took a deep breath and sighed.
“I am not sabotaging anything” he smiled slightly “As you can see I am fixing things up here, haven’t you ever seen a repairman before?”
He dropped the clock contraption and it fell into the hole with a clatter, he hoped he could return and retrieve it later, he lifted his two hands up in show that he was not armed. He stood up slowly, keeping his hands up, in the process kicking most of his stuff in the hole and making it look like an accident.
“Crap” he pretended to exclaim as he looked down as his boots kicked yet something else down into the hole.
“Man please” he smiled slightly “just give me a second”
He took a step and stumbled catching his boot on his rucksack, he fell forward with his hand outstretched, brushing his hand over the barrel of the gun as he fell forward onto his hands and knees. In the moment he touched the gun it was enough time to render it inoperable. He grunted as his hands grazed on the rough surface of the roof. He pretended to groan, not wanting to stand up just yet until he knew what this person was going to do. It had been a risky move to get a moment to touch the weapon, but he wasn’t 100% sure how determined this guy was to use it.
He slowly rose up onto his knees, rubbing his hands on his pants, he looked up into the dark eyes, he blinked and his face softened into a smirk “Sorry” he flashed a charming smile “I don’t think we have met, my name is Veyga”
He stood, brushed his hands on his pants and held out his right hand in a handshake gesture, totally able to ignore the handgun pointed in his direction now.

Shade listened to the man and stood completely still at his responses. He was about to shoot as the man stumbled and narrowed his eyes as he touched the gun. As he stood up again, Shade eyed his hand. Did he really want him to shake his hand? Was he stupid? The dark elemental shook his head and let out a sigh, "If you think you can fool me you are sorely mistaken." He couldn't help but eye Veyga down and up. Too bad they had to meet like this...Alexander wouldn't mind...nevermind...he had to get these thoughts out of his head.
Shade was on business. He looked at Veygas deep in the eye. "There are several things wrong with what you just did here. One...repairmen wouldn't come on top of the building in the night while wearing your clothing..." The dark elemental paused for a few moments and aimed the gun at the man's legs. "Two. If you were a repairman you would have the appropriate tools and not a bag. Three..." He pressed the trigger and nothing came out of the bullet. He knew something was up when he suddenly lost his composure.
"...a man of your..." The dark elemental cleared his throat slightly, "..physique wouldn't lose composure so easily. Lastly...why would anyone want to shake hands with the person who has a gun to them?" Alexander threw the gun across the rooftop, not caring where it went. He never liked guns...he preferred using his favorite weapon...the darkness. The dark elemental's features darkened and at his command, five whiplike tendrils came from the dark floor.
"I will not say this again. Come calmly and you will not get hurt. If you run, I will catch you. If you wish to fight me I will beat you to the ground." The shadows began to swirl around the elemental, the whiplike tendrils seemed to beg to attack the foe. Shade adored the darkness...it was his elemental...but something he could not handle was the light.
"What do you say Veyga?"

Veyga’s friendly smile changed to an open smirk as his story was picked apart as the falsehood it was. He held back the cheesy grin and the laughter that threatened to spill forth, he loved watching the expression on people’s face when their trusted equipment suddenly failed to work. Some got angry, some perplexed, others completely lost their composure and one had even ran. He wasn’t entire sure what this guy would do, but the expression on his face had barely faltered.
The comment about his physique made his left eyebrow flick up slightly but he wasn’t about to protest. As he listened his gaze flickered over his captor, taking in the dark eyes and the cherry red lips that he suddenly wanted to taste, he admired the way his clothes clung to his body hinting at what was underneath. Where Veyga’s muscles were sculpted and bulged, when he moved the man before him seemed not just lean but also made of a mass of tight muscles, he imagined trailing a finger across his chest and had to fight from smiling. He pondered for a second how he could find out if it was true but the sight of black tendrils coming from the floor startled his train of thought, he involuntary took a step back and watched wide eyed as the darkness started to swirl around. He had heard of those that could control light but obviously he could control the dark shadows.
His mind fled over his options, he could fight but obviously these black things, the dancing black arms of shadow would catch him. He wasn’t sure if something made of air could hurt him or hold him but didn’t want to take the risk while up here on a high rise building. His mind raced, trying to think of a way to flee. He had to bide some time, time to think of a way out of the situation, and hopefully think of a way to do it so that he might maybe be able to see his captor again. He felt an attraction to him, and although he wouldn’t bet his life on it he was pretty sure that he had felt it too.
The only danger now was the dark tendrils, he looked around and satisfied that there was adequate lights around the roof of the building he suddenly dropped to the ground, as his arm fell into the still open access hole he touched the wires and every light on the roof suddenly glared to life, brighter than should have been possible, the roof was now brighter than the desert sun. Without looking at what his captor was doing he stood and looked around, he spotted where the gun had been thrown and took off across the building’s roof to retrieve it. As he rounded a airconditioning vent, he was temporarily blinded by one of the lights and whacked his shin on a metal rail, he fell forward over the rail with a curse and lay face down on the concrete, the gun concealed under his body.

Shade went wide eyed as Veyga dropped to the ground and clenched his fist, commanding the whiplike tendrils to lash out at the man. Before the shadows reached him, the lights of the roof top brightened. Shade let out a groan and concealed his eyes from the sudden bust of the brightness as the shadows disappeared from the light. Shade cursed to himself and attempted to see but couldn't...the light was hurting his eyes too much. The dark elemental was powerless now. He had no gun...and no darkness to control.
Shade removed his arm from his eyes and slowly opened his eyes. He spotted Veyga moving across the roof top and quickly pulled out a throwing knife before launching it at him...missing terribly...the light was ruining his aim..Shade never missed. The dark elemental let out a yell, "Stop!" Alexander cursed once more and chased after Veyga. He watched as the man seemed to trip and smirked. He was as good as his. Shade spotted the air conditioning vent and jumped on top of it before launching himself into the air and landed next to Veyga.
The dark elemental quickly pinned Veyga by straddling his back and pulled out a throwing knife. Sure, they were only good for throwing...but they could be used to slit throats if needed. Shade pulled Veyga's head up with his left hand and with his right, he brought the tiny dagger to Veyga's throat. Shade let out a small growl, "You may have taken away the shadows but I can still take you down Veyga. Now that I know you are guilty...I am sure the VSF officers will have no problem bringing you to court. Believe me when I say this...they do not take kindly to mutants who cause trouble."
Shade let out a sigh, "Pity...an ability like your's...could be quite useful and productive in New Vegas..."

Veyga heard the thump beside him and before he could roll over his dark captor was straddling his back. He felt his hair being tugged and his head pulled back. His breath caught in his throat and before he could silence it he groaned, not because it hurt but because he enjoyed it. He closed his eyes and it was lips he imagined pressed to the soft skin of his neck, not the sharp blade that was threatening to slice him open.
The gun was still beneath him, it was useless as they were but at some point he would pull it free from beneath him. Like paper, scissors and rock, a gun beat a blade every time. He smirked at Shade's sigh and wondered if he could dare to say the first thing he had thought. Taking a chance he decided to take a risk, it couldn't hurt right?
"Well really its such a pity that you are so freakin hot and yet you work for those scumbag vampires* he smirked
He turned his head to look up to the captor, the blade nicking his neck and blood started to pool there. He winced but looked up at the dark eyes watching him, the same dark eyes he already knew would haunt his dreams.
The corners of his mouth turned up in a smile "Well at least you could tell me your name, if I am going to be locked in a cell with only the memory of how delicious you smell to keep me company I would like to at least know what to call you in my dreams"
He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, when he opened them he smiled, his eyes sparkling with a new edge, betraying the throb he was starting to feel in his pants.
"And" he added in a murmur "You may want to let me up, keeping me this way is just turning me on even more" he raised an eyebrow and slowly licked over his bottom lip.
He didn't think seductive techniques would get him out of this situation, it had before. But this time he was being honest, with no idea who this guy was, he knew he wanted him, a raw basic instinct told him not to run, not to flee his captor but to make him his, to show him just how amazing life could be without vampires.

"Well really its such a pity that you are so freakin hot and yet you work for those scumbag vampires."
The dark elemental couldn't help but let out a sigh of annoyance and rolled his eyes, "Well this is new...never had a law breaker attempt to flirt with me. Usually they attempt to run or fight me." Shade looked down at his new captive and couldn't help but admire his features. It truly was a pity that he had to take him into the VSF...they would kill him...or worse...make him a techahuman. A mutant with his abilities...the dark elemental doubted they would put him to waste so easily.
"Do not think I fall easily to the charms of men. I cannot be fooled Veyga. You are not getting out of this."
"Well at least you could tell me your name, if I am going to be locked in a cell with only the memory of how delicious you smell to keep me company I would like to at least know what to call you in my dreams"
The dark elemental rolled his eyes yet again and let out another sigh, "Persistent are we?" He knew for a fact the rebel mutant was attempting to charm him. He was no fooled easily. Shade was an excellent officer for his lack of emotions..though...in a way they were his weakness as well. He did not feel the way other elementals did. They were in-tuned with the earth and the dark elemental had lately felt out of place with the earth...with only the shadows to comfort him.
Shade figured it couldn't hurt giving Veyga his name...after all...not much use to him considering he was going to be in the custody of vampires soon. "Shade. Head of the dark elemental division of the ESP and an officer of the VSF."
"And...You may want to let me up, keeping me this way is just turning me on even more"
Shade shook his head, "You are unbelievable..." The dark elemental looked at the knife pressed against Veyga's throat and noticed blood on it. He raised a brow and was not his intention to cut him...although the mutant deserved it...he didn't wish Veyga to bleed all over. The dark elemental looked up at a blinding light and growled, "Blasted light..." WIth skill and precision of an officer, the dark elemental threw the throwing knife at the bulb of the light, instantly shutting the light and covering them in a pouch of darkness. Finally, he was in a bit of his element.
"You are bleeding. Any sudden moves and I am going to throw you off of this building. Got it?"
Shade moved up a little and flipped Veyga so he was on his back. The dark elemental straddled him as if attempting to hold him down with his weight...not seduce him. To Shade, this was strictly business...though it felt nice to be...nevermind...he had a job to do. Shade reached towards the back of his leather pants and pulled out a small, white handkerchief. He pressed the tiny piece of cloth against the cut and kept his hand there. Sure, it seemed he was applying a bit of pressure against the wound...but a simple squeeze of the throat and Shade could knock him out...oh how the vampires trained him well.
The dark elemental looked deep into Veyga's eyes. "It is nothing personal. I have a job to do and must carry it out. Also....vampires arent so bad. Not all of them are bloodthirsty fiends. They give us protection, a place to live, and are looking for a cure for the zombie infestation. Maybe...with an ability like your's...they may drop the charges."

When Veyga felt the hand on his shoulder pulling him over her mentally cursed, he just managed to scoot the gun under his back. The cold metal pressed into his spine and he fought the urge to squirm but did have the forethought to temporarily incapacitate the gun so that he didn't shoot himself by accident. That would be just his luck on a day like this.
He looked up at Shade as he straddled his body. He fought the urge to bite his lip and smile, as much as he wanted to. It seemed his captor was not the sort to be won over by a pretty smile. Now that he was looking at him up close he realised what it was about him, it wasn't just his dark eyes and his cherry red lips, it was his confidence in his abilities. The way he had thrown the knife at the light bulb was enough to send shivers down his spine.
He looked a little puzzled as he seemed to reach behind himself and he was almost expecting him to be reaching for another blade. He was a little shocked when he returned with a white handkerchief. Veyga blinked, not hiding his suprise as his captor pressed the soft linen to his throat. Veyga flinched a little but tried not to show how much it stung. It was only a little cut, he knew that but the soft skin of a human's throat was quite sensitive. Or maybe it wasn't the sting so much as his touch that surprised him.
He closed his eyes for a moment and took a deep breath. When he opened he tried to keep his face neutral despite the stir of emotion he was feeling, a mixture of fear and not at all surprising was lust. He hadn't been this close to anyone in quite some time, let alone someone with which he had such a strong attraction.
"You know" he spoke softly "You can take me in if that is what you really want to do and I will be vampire fodder by morning"
He sighed "I just wish circumstances were different, I mean what if we were to meet in a bar." his lips curled up at the corners with the thought "I mean i would spot you from a distance, smile maybe, maybe buy you a drink. We could talk, get to know each other"
The thought was just too good and he licked his lips and closed his eyes with a sigh. When he opened them he smiled seductively "We could still do that, you could let me go, we can meet at the bar across the street, pretend we don't know each other"
He raised an eyebrow "No one would ever know we were here, no would know that you knew what I was doing. Go on live a little, step out from under the vampire cloud long enough to try something a little daring"
Then on impulse he lifted his head a little, pushing into the pressure of the hand. He felt his airways restrict and he swallowed "Or just kill me now" he barely managed to squeak from his narrowed throat " because I would rather die than go near those blood sucking freaks"

"You know...You can take me in if that is what you really want to do and I will be vampire fodder by morning...I just wish circumstances were different, I mean what if we were to meet in a bar...I mean i would spot you from a distance, smile maybe, maybe buy you a drink. We could talk, get to know each other"
The dark elemental couldn't help but frown slightly at the technopath's words. For the first time in his life, he actually pitied the captive. Shade would always capture the law breaker, bring them to the vampires, and never seen him again. Then why...why was this time so different? Was it because Veyga was attractive? No...that wasn't it. Shade has arrested attractive people before. Was it his abilities? Maybe...doubtful. Then why...why was this time so different from the others?
"Doubt you would see me in a bar. My shifts start at night when everyone goes out to play. If I wasn't assigned to capture you...we would never have met. Besides, how do I know you aren't saying these things to charm me into letting you go? It wouldn't be the first time someone has attempted to do that."
As much as Shade wanted to believe the mutant's words...he couldn't. His intimate encounters were generally a one night thing. Nothing more, nothing less. Strictly no strings attached. It was easier that way. Shade could release some tension, and it wouldn't interfere with his work. Although, the dark elemental couldn't help but enjoy the feeling of straddling Veyga and wanting nothing more than to rip off his clothes...
"We could still do that, you could let me go, we can meet at the bar across the street, pretend we don't know each other...No one would ever know we were here, no would know that you knew what I was doing. Go on live a little, step out from under the vampire cloud long enough to try something a little daring"
Shade let out an annoyed sigh, "Daring? You mean potentially getting us both killed...oh yes..incredibly daring. Veyga, your incredibly good looking. That is something you and I cannot deny but I am not the type to let my attraction for someone interfere with my duties. I am a dark elemental Veyga and an officer for the VSF...I cannot defy them. The vampires provide us protection. Without them, we would all either be dead or living in camps waiting to die. At least here...the civilizans here have a chance to live...a greater chance than those at The Haven. So why...you...a technopath, wish to endanger the lives of these people? Have you even thought of that?"
"Or just kill me now.. because I would rather die than go near those blood sucking freaks"
Shade saw Veyga moved up and narrowed his eyes. He brought his free hand to Veyga's forehead and pressed him down gently on the floor. "Stay still until the bleeding stops. It isn't much, but the cut could spread." The dark elemental moved his head down slightly until his face was just inches from Veyga. His features darkened slightly, "You know...they don't even have a decent photo of you...only reason why I suspected you was because you were here. So tell me Veyga...why are you doing this?"

Veyga frowned into the dark eyes, were the humans really being kept safe or being kept penned together like livestock ready for the slaughter. He didn't bother to explain his belief, he didn't think it would make any difference as the dark elemental was so indoctrinated in the vampire world.
"Why am i doing what?" he asked innocently "Why was up here trying to find parts for my business, surely pilfering a few bits of wire so that i can repair things like clocks and small gadgets for the people in the burrows isn't too much of a nuisance to the vampires?"
He took a deep breath "Sure I don't pay my tax to the blood suckers but I earn everything I get, i don't ask for handouts and I don't even use their electricity." he smiled slightly "One could say I live off the grid for the simple life I lead. Sure I am a technopath but all I am doing is helping others fix the broken things around the place, the little bit of technologies that make their life easier"
He chuckled "The other day I fixed the cash register at the Bistro, I think its earned me hot meals for a week".
He looked into the dark eyes, barely inches from his own, he groaned softly "if you keep looking at me like that Shade I will be forced to do something about it"
Without waiting for a answer to that he lifted his head and pressed his lips briefly against Shade's as his head fell back he caught the ruby red bottom lip between his teeth gently for just a moment before his head fell back down from the strain of fighting the hands holding him down.
He sighed and closed his eyes before murmuring "My apologies, I have been wanting to do that for a bit now"
When he opened his eyes he had a cocky grin on his face "Are you sure you don't want to call this a case of possible mistaken identity and we can go get a drink at the bar across the street there" he paused and cocked his head slightly, his eyes glistening "or there is always my place?"
He chuckled and winced as the movement stung the cut at his throat but his smile didn't fade for an instant.

Shade listened to his words of how he was innocent and how he aided those at the Bistro. The dark elemental merely narrowed his gaze down upon the mutant, "So, you steal from the vampires and help the citizens of New Vegas? Do you think you are Robin Hood? Stealing the rich and giving to the poor? You cannot break the laws such as these Veyga...you...your power...so much potential and you waste your efforts in attempting to weaken the vampires."
Alexander let out a broken sigh and frowned, "You cannot beat them Veyga...you just can't. They provide and we serve. This is how it works. Sure, it may seem wrong but honestly...what other choice would we have? Without them, many of us would be dead. Do you honestly believe people can survive in rebel camps? They do not last long and it is only a matter of time when The Haven comes to an end."
Shade gasped slightly as Veyga moved up and his eyes widened, "What are you-" Before he could finish, Veyga's full, delicious lips pressed against his before he pulled his lower lip slightly. The dark elemental groaned slightly as Veyga returned to the ground. Something snapped within the dark elemental and removed his grip from the mutant's neck before pinning his arms above his head. The dark elemental began to breath heavy as he moved his head down to kiss Veyga back.
Shade was about to deepen the kiss but quickly moved his head up. The dark elemental cleared his throat and blushed heavily, "I...don't know what just happened..." Shade's heart rate increased slightly and removed his grip from the mutant's arms, "What the hell...shit..." Alexander moved his upper body up as he continued to straddle Veyga. "I should just detain you but...then again...I could argue...your innocence...god damn it..."
Alexander shook his head and let out a groan, "Why did I have to be assigned to this...why you...why here...why now..."

Veyga's breath caught in his throat as his arms were pushed up and pinned above his head,he took a deep breath and was about to smile when the elemental's lips pressed against his, he closed his eyes, giving into the pressure on his wrists and lips he felt himself begin to melt against the hard lean body above his.
But then there was emptiness, he opened his eyes slowly, with confused at first, his brow creasing slightly as he looked into the dark eyes that were peering down at him as he cleared his throat. Veyga noted the flushed complexion and realised he himself was feeling quite heated after such brief contact.
Veyga smiled smugly, listening as his now dark captor was arguing with himself over what had just happened. As he sat up Veyga watched, not wanting to startle him. As he sat upwards, legs either side of Veyga's sides, it became more obvious to Veyga just how much this dark elemental was turning him on. What had started off a harmless flirtation was now a attraction that could not be denied.
"I can show you Why" Veyga said, his voice a little husky.
He slid his hands down to his side then onto either of Shade's knees. He slid his hands up over his thighs, as much as he wanted to pause and enjoy grabbing the man's tight ass he skimmed past and up his back to his shoulders. With a grin he half sat up, pulling Shade down towards him and pressed his lips against his, harder and with more urgency this time.
Veyga's lips parted and his tongue licked over Shade's lower lip, seeking entry, sliding into his mouth slowly, gently so as not to startle him, finding his tongue in a slow tango. His left hand pushed up through the dark hair as he deepened the kiss further, pulling him down with him to the ground once again.
Breathing heavily he pulled his lips back and smiled, looking up into the dark eyes, just above his own.
"You don't have to do anything, you don't have to tell them anything. For all they know you never saw me" he took a deep breath trying to steady his racing heart.

The dark elemental's body began to shudder from the mutant's touch and gasped at the close proximity between the two of them. Shade's eyes were filled with slight need. Alexander wanted nothing more than to take off the binding leather strapped to his body and take the young, handsome mutant before him. Shade placed his hands against Veyga's chest and felt the hard muscle lying beneath the annoying cloth...oh how he wanted to rip it off...
"I can show you why"
Alexander couldn't help but grin and close his eyes as the technopath pulled him on top of him. He let out a sigh and granted Veyga's tongue entrance. The dark elemental moaned softly against the kiss as his tongue caressed Veyga's; a lover's duel.
"You don't have to do anything, you don't have to tell them anything. For all they know you never saw me"
Shade looked down at Veyga and let out a broken sigh as he looked deep into the mutant before him. "I...I don't know..." The dark elemental began to breath heavily as he looked down at Veyga. Confusion filled his eyes. Should he kiss him? Bring him back to the place? Take him into the VSF? "God damn you Veyga..." Shade was about to kiss him until he heard a click of a gun behind him.
Alexander's eyes widened as he turned around. It was a VSF officer.
The vampire grinned, "Well well...doesn't this look friendly. I thought you were supposed to be working."
Shade turned his head to Veyga and whispered, "Don't say anything." He slowly stood up and returned his gaze to the vampire solider and nodded his head slightly.
"Officer James. And yes...guess I got a little...sidetracked..."
The vampire let out an annoyed sigh, "Any leads on the mutant? Or were you too busy with your little friend there?"
This was Shade's chance to either turn Veyga in or save him. The dark elemental turned to Veyga for a few moments before looking back at the officer and shook his head. His heart rate was calm and steady as was his demeanor.
"No..not at all. I searched through the main technological sites of New Veygas and found no trace of sabotage. If he were to strike it would be on a different night. Though I suggest adding extra security to those sites. And...I think I am taking the night off."
The officer nodded and smirked, "Good on you Shade. For a second there thought you were asexual. I won't tell anyone...least I can do for you covering for me the other night." In a flash, the vampire vanished from the building. Shade let out an annoyed sigh and looked down at Veyga with a slight glare,
"You owe me...big time..."

Veyga had started moving to grab at the gun that was digging into the middle of his back but he took Shade's cue and remained quiet and still, the gun was close enough should he need to defend himself, if Shade turned him in.
He tried to look relaxed and a little bored but all of his muscles were tense and ready to pounce if he needed. But as it was Shade covered for the situation and covered who he was. He almost heaved a sigh of relief then remembered that the vampire was still there and changed it into a half stifled yawn.
In an instant the vampire was gone and Veyga visably heaved a sigh of relief.
"Thank you" he murmured softly "I do owe you, I owe you big time"
He thought for a moment then smirked, he stood, kicking the gun away and walked up to Shade, his hands sliding across his chest slowly, his fingers tracing the ridges of the muscles below.
"Tell me Shade, tell me what I can do to make it up to you, just how can I show you just how...." he slid his hands down to the waist of his leather pants and rested them lightly there
He licked his lips, glancing at where his hands rested then back up the Shade's face "just how appreciative I am"
He grabbed the band of his leather pants and yanked him against himself, he crushed his lips against Shade's, kissing him hard and deep as though trying to take Shade into himself somehow. One hand slid up, working up his top and burrowing inside to slide across the soft skin of his flat stomach before sliding up to glide over his chest.
"Anything Shade, I will do anything" he moved his lips to whispered in his ear "Anything your heart desires"

Shade heard the technopath thank him and he merely shrugged, "No worries. James is stupid, despite being a vampire. He wouldn't think twice about what happened here. Just hope no one finds out what I did...or we are both in huge trouble Veyga...more than you will ever know." The dark elemental watched as Veyga moved near him and tensed slightly. He saw him kick the gun. Had he had the gun the whole time? Was he going to use it on him?
Well...if the mutant was going to use it...he would have done so already. Veyga had more than enough opportunity to shoot him. Before the dark elemental could breath, Veyga was standing before him; caressing his chest with his firm touch. Shade couldn't help but slightly shudder.
"Tell me Shade, tell me what I can do to make it up to you, just how can I show you just how.... just how appreciative I am"
Right when Shade was going to respond, Veyga's lips crushed onto his own and the dark elemental couldn't help but slightly moan at the sensation as he closed his dark eyes before returning the kiss. Shade's hands traced Veyga's side before wrapped his arms around the mutant; pulling him closer and depending the kiss. He shuddered more when Veyga began caressing his bare chest and wanted more...he had to have more...
Control Shade...control yourself.
"Anything Shade, I will do anything...Anything your heart desires"
Shade's lips moved to Veyga's neck and kissed it before whispering, "Maybe we should have that drink at my place..." He chuckled darkly and pulled the mutant closer, "...don't let go..." Soon, the two sank to the floor and the shadows consumed them both. Within minutes, the two resurfaced at Shade's apartment. It was small, simple, and barely lit. Shade liked it dark. Had a small kitchen, full bath, a couch, and a bedroom. The dark elemental had an opportunity to live in nicer accommodations but he had no need of them.
The dark elemental pressed Veyga against the kitchen counter and smirked, "Care for a beer?" Shade removed himself from Veyga's touch and walked towards the refrigerator before grabbing two beers and twisting the tops before setting one next to Veyga. Shade stayed across the counter; opposite of Veyga and sighed once more.
"Been a while since I had anyone else here. But...you are the first criminal. Guess that means something right?"
