Mita had heard tell of a vampire that could see things before they happened and had decided it was time to check out this silly man. He had struck her curiosity. She had decided to put on a mini skirt that she had heard tell that women now dressed in. The leather she had heard tell made men weak in the knees not that she was interested in doing that to this man. She pulled on a black vest that hugged her curves. Then she figured that it would be easier to walk in sandals and so she used the flat black roman style sandals she had. She began to walk out the door to her room.
She walked down the hallway when she heard someone clear their throat and turned to as if look at the person that had done so. "Mita..." She smiled slightly knowing full well before the man had spoken. "I won't be needing you tonight, Dante. I am heading over to The Raven to meet with someone who doesn't know I'm coming." She put a hand on the man's shoulder gently. "I will be good this once so the two of us won't get in trouble. You need not worry. I will be back possibly soon."
With that she strolled out of the home while one hand lifted to mess with the bandage covering her eyes. She may not need to see but in a way she could see everything and nothing at the same time. She slowly made her way to the entrance hearing a gasp as she entered the doors. She stood there a moment as if taking in the sounds about her before her chin lifted some and she grinned like a child playing a game.
"One two here I come..." She whispered softly to herself. "To play a game. Shall we dance to the tunes inside our head and spin out and in as we swing our hips to the music?" She spoke in the whisper as she walked slowly more into the place. She swayed her hips as she walked. Each movement like that of a slick cat about to pounce. She heard the whispers about her and the contemplation as those were trying to figure out if this woman that was walking was the one that traveled with Drake.
She never answered. No, she was looking for the man that had intrigued her. Her hand came up to the back of a booth as she walked her hand slid along the edge until she stopped suddenly. "Where are you? Is this hide and seek? I so enjoy the game. It's much like cat and mouse. One chases to catch and the other submits." She was continuing to whisper to herself. Some thought her insane but those that listened to her knew the poetic appeal of her words.
They were much like a child contemplating out loud what they were to do next. She turned some to lean against the back of the booth.

"Now, did I not make this clear last meeting?"
Casander walked around the conference room. Within this room, was Casander, and a handful of his most trusted managers. Without them, the elder vampire would have not this much success. The Raven's profits were skyrocketing and the managers were doing well to continue this rise of profits...but it was not enough. Casander wanted to please his maker and he would meet the sun before failing Laik...
It was a funny thing...money. This city ran on it...but what was money in today's society? Small, round chips with numbers...giving the illusion of security and normalcy for the citizens of New Vegas. It was a trick...a game of sorts that everyone had to play for the sake of everyone's sanity. Casander was beyond such games...but he would play nonetheless. Casander continued to walk around the conference room. His demeanor filled with command and confidence. He sensed the fear within the managers and as they should.
Casander was not to be reckoned with. "I believe I said I wished our profits to exceed those of the other casinos, did I not? Now...tell me...why...here...at The Raven...who cater to the vast majority of the city still fall short of some of the other casinos?" Casander paused for a few moments, awaiting an answer. They were too afraid to respond. Typical...useless vampires. In a flash, Casander slammed his hand on the table. His fangs extended as he hissed, "I shall not tolerate failure! Now, immediately implement the ideas discussed. Meeting is over. Leave."
In an instant, the managers left the room, leaving the vampire by himself. Casander let out a sigh and sat on one of the chairs before rubbing his temples, "Must I do everything myself?" He let out another sigh before staring up at the ceiling and gasped. The black of his eyes turned to white...a vision. He envisioned a woman...a young woman...who's eyes were covered by bandages enter The Raven...could it be...no...why would she come here? Within moments, the vision ended.
In a flash, Casander exited the conference room and arrived at the main entrance of The Raven. As per usual, he was clad in his skin tight, black leather pants accompanied by his steel toed boots, and his mesh shirt; revealing the black cross medallion that caressed his bare chest. Of course, Casander was not one to follow religion...it was merely for show. The vampire scanned the area until his eyes locked on the woman of his vision. He narrowed his eyes slightly and walked towards her.
He did not like the way she walked; it was as if she owned the casino herself. She reeked of power...Casander did not like it...not one bit. Casander bowed his head slightly, a sign of slight respect for the elder vampire before him. "Mita Sokanon is it not? I would say I am surprised of your visit here but I already saw you coming. What I do not know is why you are here. Is there anything I can help you with?"

Mita knew where Casander was. She didn't need to be physically in his presence to know. She was standing inside of his casino and while standing there she slowly let an evil grin come to her lips as she knew he was sitting in his chair. She waited as the scene played out inside of her head. When he looked up to the ceiling was when she forced the vision of herself walking into the club. Then she was strolling about as she made him see it.
She knew she shouldn't be playing with him but what was there left to do? She didn't like to be kept waiting. She knew there were eyes of shock on her. She heard the whispers. She knew it all. She knew also that Casander was coming. She didn't need to be there when he had seen the vision she sent him. She knew he would come running. Who wouldn't? She was the seer. The eyes of Drake. No one would displease Drake at all. She knew Casander had to be looking for her so she stayed where she was.
"No, cat and mouse. No, hide and seek. Time of play has left and so now it is professionalism that takes it's place. No one enjoys the games anymore. But was just a fairy tale of no accord anymore." She murmured to herself and a gasp went up beside her. "You are..." She could feel the woman moving slowly away from her.
She turned her head to the woman as if she could see her and felt the woman move further away from her. She turned her head as if to look at Casander and tilted her head some as he bowed his head. "Such formalities are for those that can see it and appreciate the beauty of it... Casander Valyntine." She brought a hand up to mess with the bandages covering her eyes.
"It is as is. Mita Sokanon is but a name but most don't do with using my last name. Mita is much easier to enjoy than the Sokanon. But just a name that I do not like much. Mita is all need to use." She gave a child like grin as she heard his next words. "Of course you saw my coming. I made sure of that fact." She went to turn as if looking about the place. "Your voice sounds so much more beautiful in reality than where I hear it normally." She murmured softly as if in a whisper for just the two to hear.
She turned back to him so fast that there wasn't even a blur. One second she faced one way and it was as if she didn't even move when she faced him except the fact she was facing him. "Well no, I just wished to meet the inheritor of..." Her head slid down just a tiny bit as if she were thinking over her words. "The visionary." She gave a slight giggle at that as if she didn't truly believe it much.
She turned her head some as if she were looking at the place. "Do we not enjoy company? I wish to have a tour of your place, Casander. Such a rude individual... No offerings of a tour or refreshment... Shame on you. Shame on me for pointing it out." She spoke lightly though as if a child were more like playfully pouting than anything else. She wasn't actually caring for either but she wanted what she wanted and that was that.

"Of course you saw my coming. I made sure of that fact...Your voice sounds so much more beautiful in reality than where I hear it normally."
The vampire's eyes widened slightly at the seer's words but quickly got rid of it, maintaining his stoic demeanor. Hm...seems Drake's little vision girl had skill. Casander had the the gift of sight, yes, but his skill was no where near Mita's. Could she really have the ability to force visions on those who are gifted with the sight? Was that even possible? Casander has read countless books on supernatural abilities and has never come across such an ability.
But the rumors were true then. She was a seer in her human life and unlike other supernaturals turned to vampires, her ability increased drastically. How interesting. What was so special about this vampire? "I assume you watch over me often Mita...any particular reason aside from the fact I also possess the sight?" Casander's voice was neutral but he wanted nothing more than to stake and burn her. The younger vampire did not like those who entered his mind...not at all.
"Do we not enjoy company? I wish to have a tour of your place, Casander. Such a rude individual... No offerings of a tour or refreshment... Shame on you. Shame on me for pointing it out."
Casander was becoming incredibly annoyed with this vampire. Sure, he should bow and bend to her every wish but he wouldn't. He wanted her dead. He wanted her dead for many reasons...for entering his mind...for entering his casino without his knowing...oh how he wanted to grab a pool stick and shove it deep within her head before lighting her on fire. At the least, he wanted her out of the casino. It annoyed Casander her ties with Drake Legend were so tight...otherwise he would act on his desires of her death.
"Merely ask and I shall do Mita, seer of Drake Legend." The vampire turned his head and noticed a waitress carrying a tray full of goblets, filled with hot blood for Casander's vampire clientele. He motioned the waitress to come and grabbed a goblet before sending the human off and offering the goblet to Mita, "Here...You have my word it is fresh...but if you wish for something of a...different variety I can take you to a private location. Feeding in front of my clientele would be bad for business. I am sure you can understand."

Mita didn't need to see to know that the man had been surprised by her words of making sure that he saw her coming. She brought a hand down to her skirt as if brushing at something invisible on it but then she brought it up with a ladybug on the tip of her finger and she lifted it up as if inspecting the creature with her eyes. She kept turning her finger about as the ladybug moved as if she knew what direction it would go and such. She lifted it up so that she could blow on it and it flew away. She looked as if she were watching it fly away.
She heard him speak to her and turned as if she were looking at him then. "I find you interesting. I have met many with our gift. Many have tried to take my place..." She looked towards where the ladybug had gone. "Such a shame to see them fall but sometimes things cannot be helped." She turned her face to look at him. "Do you not wish to know if you will become as me?" She tilted her head some. "Often enough but do not worry I do not spy on what you and your lover do." She brought her hands behind her back and folded her hands. "I do know you wondered if the rumors were true of me and I am here. You intrigued back when you were just a human. Standing on a street corner. It is so good to see time hasn't stunted you from the day I tossed money into that hat you had."
She thought it over as she tilted her head. "When I passed by I saw what was to become of you. Quite interesting the twists and turns when you see one from such a bottom moving up quite well." There was a pang as she remembered the reasons for her giving the homeless human money. She remembered that night. It wasn't a small amount either. Dante had always walked with her and he had questioned her about it and she had turned as if to look over her shoulder with her bandaged eyes.
She had responded. "I will meet him once more... Maybe a few times more." Dante had looked unsure and she had given a slight pained laugh. "I know what it is like to be where he is but he will grow and become one of us. Well, one like me. Call it a drawing of the seers." She had shrugged her shoulders but Dante had always known her past was sad and pained and he had put an arm about her shoulders. Dante was like a brother to her as well as a guard in a way.
She shook her head as if clearing the thoughts away of the past. "Yes, in a very interesting way I have met with you before but unnoticed to you but not unnoticed by me. I could describe you as if it were yesterday. It was a good amount and quite breathless you were when you found it." Her lips moved showing sharp fangs as she spoke. Not threatening but the fangs always peaked through as she spoke. She never hid what she was.
She stood there like a child having given away a secret. "You were oh so hungry and finding that money had been very good for you at the time. It was a very interesting moment but still you had wondered who had given it to you and how you didn't see it. It was like a game. You had looked around trying to figure if someone had mistakenly given it to you. But there was no mistake. I am quite fast even back then." Fast enough to kill you before you can kill me. Her lips turned into a wicked grin as if she were telling him exactly what he had been toying with the idea of as if she could read his mind.
"Just Mita is fine." She spoke offhandedly as if titles were boring to her. She heard the steps of someone approaching and turned her head as if looking at the woman. She turned her head back to Casander and took the offered goblet. Her fingers brushed his as she took it easily from his hand. Not snatching just a gentle taking of it. "No, we wouldn't want to bring Drake's wrath down and he knows how I am. This is fine, Mr. Valyntine. What an interesting name. Does it mean that you were part of the Valentine that is now celebrated for Valentine's Day? Just a change of lettering, I presume." She brought the goblet up to smell the scent of it.
"Did you know that they say you can take in the scent and pinpoint who as you pass by them that you know where it had come from? What person had given the contents of this goblet." She brought it to her lips and took a soft sip of it. "But in time you may see what they see... What has become of that person." She took another drink before licking her lips. "But do we not feed in front of them by drinking from the goblet? A more decadent and gentle viewing for those about, is it not?" She began to walk some forward as if looking at something or rather someone.
But she turned her head as if looking over her shoulder at Casander. "I would like a tour if you will and have the time, Mr. Valyntine." She turned her head as if to look at the man that had caught her sightless gaze but he was gone. Her words had been dripping with sweetness and respect. Nothing to show her thoughts at all.

Casander listened to the seer's words of how she gave him money when he was merely a beggar in his human years. For so long he tried to forget that life. For centuries he was unable to forget his human life. Sure, he lived a privileged life when he was a young adult. He received everything a boy could ever dream of. Horses...clothing...everything. But that was short lived when his family and estate was burned to the ground...leaving the only child with nothing but memories.
If he was unable to find a job...he begged on the streets. Casander shook his head from these thoughts and looked at Mita with slightly darkened features. Seemed this woman knew him more than Casander cared for. He did not like it, "I guess I should thank you for helping me then...but why tell me this now Mita?" The vampire clenched his fists for a few moments until releasing them. How was he so connected with this seer? This woman...this vampire...rubbed Casander the wrong way...
The younger vampire merely smirked at Mita's remark of his last name. Yes...his last name closely resembled Valtentine...a pitiful holiday that humans in the past used to spend loads of hard earned cash for their love. How ridiculous...Casander never needed a special day to show how much he he loved and cared for Laik...nor did he feel the need to buy him expensive gifts constantly. Though...the vampire had surprised his maker from time to time with gifts.
"I see where one would make that assumption dear Mita...but I assure you my family line is not related to that of Valentine's day. I am french...but you must know that already..."
Casander nodded at the seer's request of a tour and bowed slightly, "I would be honored to show you my casino Mita. Come...follow me..." The vampire stayed close, but not too close to the seer as he showed her throughout the first floor the casino. He showed her the industrial and gothic themes he had throughout the vast building. The slot machines, the card tables, the bars, the dance floor, the live industrial performances. He also told her of the rooms within the casino and their large, black pool that made the water seem like mercury.
Once finished, Casander looked back at Mita, "Was there anything else you wished for me to do Mita?"

Mita was watching for the man she had felt was in the crowd or rather had seen inside her head. She could see in a way that many didn't understand. Most rumors had it she carried around a stick that let her feel with it for where she would have to step up and such but no, she didn't need it. As a human she did to a point but very rarely had she truly needed it with her mother always around except that fateful night she had been sold like nothing more than a material that was needed.
She turned her head hearing his question as she looked at him with bandaged eyes. It wasn't as if she were rude. She 'looked' at the person that was speaking to her. Most thought that strange in itself that she acted as if she could still see with her eyes even with them bandaged. Some vampires had found it eerie to say the least. "When else have I 'seen' you? Well, besides my keeping track of a soon to be another seer about. But besides that why not? I just figured you'd like to know that we had a common background. Cinderella story if you will."
She thought it over then. "Since I know a secret of yours I will be fair and as we tour the casino tell you a secret only Drake and Dante know of me. Possibly Marcus as well." She lifted her shoulders some. But then she had turned the subject to his last name. She had been amused by it really and though she heard him tell of it she was just asking a question. Dante said she didn't communicate the right way with people.
"French? Yes, I did know that. France is a beautiful... Err was a beautiful country. I loved the romanticism of the atmosphere." She tilted her head as he spoke of being honored to show her around his casino. She began walking along with him but kept a distance as she seemed to look back every few moments. "I would love a chance to swim in your pool. I do like midnight swims in lakes and such when the water is so dark." But as she turned to look at him she felt a hand grab her wrist.
She knew whom it was. "I knew you were following, Dante." Dante looked over at Casander with a frown and then looked back at Mita. "You know better than leaving without. You are very good at slipping through the cracks. You know I am supposed to be with you when you leave. I had to leave a very pissed off two women to come and find you!" He was angry and Mita knew it. She could have hurt Dante but just looked up at him.
She looked so small compared to the man that had a hand on her wrist. "You were busy..." She started out with a whine. They acted more like a brother and sister even out in public. "Don't start that. It irritates the hell out of me!" Dante turned his angry gaze on Casander. It was quite funny seeing two people who were strong powerfully and could tear each other apart if they wanted stand there arguing. "I wasn't bothering him much!" She said and Dante perked an eyebrow staring at Casander.
Dante looked pretty lethal dressed in a pair of black slacks and button down shirt that was wide open from his hurriedly dressing while the women threw things at him. He had slipped on a pair of tennis shoes and grabbed his leather jacket as he ran out to catch up with Mita. Well, he had seen her but by the time he had gotten close to catching her the man and her had disappeared. Dante met Casander's eyes with angry eyes. "Don't you know not to take a snake into your nest?"
Mita gasped. "I wasn't going to do him any harm. You look hungry. Drink this." Dante took the goblet from her then before taking a drink again. He pointed at Casander with the goblet. "What makes him so special?" Mita giggled some and nudged Dante in the ribs. "Isn't he handsome?" Dante snorted. "Not like the men you already deal with. And besides this one in my opinion doesn't like you in the least. His mannerisms."
Dante began to pull off his jacket and put it about her shoulders. Mita turned her head as if looking up at Dante. "He was just showing me around the casino." She reached up patting Dante on the cheek. "Shall we go see that pool? I'm sure Dante would love to see it." She looked almost child-like as she looked at Casander. Dante spoke then. "I've seen you before!" He said narrowing his eyes at Casander. "Just younger and not a vampire at that time. You sought him out, Mita!"

Casander merely chuckled at Mita's words about him being another seer. The vampire nodded at the elder's words and couldn't help but smirk slightly at the thought of him becoming a potential seer. Sure, his visions were accurate but he could not control them...well...not completely anyway. Anytime he forced a vision, it would often hurt and couldn't control if he either saw the future of past. "I see...so...I take it you would train me in the ancient ways? I know another who has a gift...similar to ours...but...she is...interesting..."
Anika...a fellow member of the magistrate was able to see an owner's life from a simple touch of an object. She did not he knew but then again, it was known that very few things could be hidden from Casander. The younger vampire looked at Mita, "You can say I do not like her very much and I believe you know whom I speak of." His ears perked up slightly when she said she would tell a secret, "Oh? Something I do not know?" He chuckled once more, "Please...do tell Mita..."
Perhaps he judged Mita too quickly. Who knows what the vampire king put her through...centuries of indoors...could make someone go a bit insane...which would explain her childish behavior. Maybe this elder seer could be useful for Casander. "Yes...France was a beautiful country...but it was unstable during my human years there...I only wonder what it could have been like today."
Within moments, another elder vampire appeared, by what he was later known as Dante. Casander's fangs lengthened slightly and he glared at him. With a snap of his fingers, five guard surrounded the elder vampire with guns pointed at him. The inhabitants of the casino waged idly by but continued to play their games. Such actions were common within The Raven. Casander's features darkened as he inched closer to Dante.
"You come into my casino uninvited...you interrupt my conversation with the king's seer...and you disrespect me. If you were any other vampire, I would have you meet the sun. Now..."
Casander glared darkly at the man, showing what kind of monster he could really be. "I may be younger than you Dante...but my maker and I would rip you to shreds. With a simple touch...I could see what you would ATTEMPT to do to us and would destroy you before you even had a chance to blink. This is my casino. I am Casander Valyntine of the Council and I do not tolerate disrespect from the likes of you."
The younger vampire paused for a few moments, "I give you two options Dante. One, you apologize for your behavior and are allowed to gain a tour of us if you are silent. Or two, you die for your mockery of me. I care not if you knew me in my human years. What matters is the now."

Mita heard his chuckle of him being another seer. She knew if given the chance the man could be more than he was. But she had pretty much killed her own soul in the process. Could he do the same? Probably not. But lesser people had surprised her. She heard his words and let a grin come to her lips. "Yes. And yes, I do know of her. There isn't much that I don't know about." Something told her that Casander by using the word interesting seemed not to like the one he spoke of. Interesting.
It was confirmed when he had said so. She heard his next words and looked up at him as if she could see him. "I was a beggar in my time. We traveled from town to town. I used my gift to see what would happen as a child with those I touched. It was a very small gift compared to what it is now. Yes, as a human I had the sight and as a vampire and in all this time it has grown."
She gave him a child like smile as he spoke of France. "I enjoyed France in many times. We do not know why things happen but there is always a reason for it. Some times things cannot be helped other than seeing through it. I have seen many places fall and have heard of stories of those times before that." She spoke softly not giving any sign of how old she truly is.
She heard the snap of Casander's fingers even as she could tell Dante was tensing as if for war. Dante looked about at the five that surrounded him. His face had taken on an angry look as he looked back at Casander as the man began to speak. "I am doing my job appointed by the King himself." He spoke simply though he looked for an opening to throw Mita out of the danger area. His first priority was Mita and then himself after all.
"As for the sun... I don't think so, man. And I am a guard to the strongest seer, Casander. Do you not think that the King chose me to guard Mita without having strengths of my own?" He took another drink of the blood that was in the goblet as if completely calm. "And my disrespect was not to you in the least. Mita knows the rules." He looked at the five men and then back at Casander. "Do you think that one of those bullets may hit Mita? Many things could happen. A ricochet. Anything. And you do not want me to show you what I'm capable of. I will apologize so that a war does not start."
He proceeded to bow his head. "I am truly sorry for the misinterpretation." Mita spoke up putting a hand on Dante's shoulder and one on Casander's. "Please. We are not here for any problems." Dante grunted. "See what happens when you go out? I always end up at gunpoint!" He whispered the words though. "How many next time? Twenty?" He continued even though he was joking he was still angry. "As for silence the only time I am quiet is when I am hunting."
Mita gasped softly and put herself in front of Dante's back as if to shield the big man. "He is not meaning that he will hunt you, Casander." She turned her head as if she were looking at Casander. "He is my friend. My brother and my guard. Do not hurt him or I will return the favor. I will have to. He has been by my side since I was turned. He is even older than I am hence the grumpiness. You know old men are all huff and puff."
Dante couldn't help but chuckle and pull her around to stand by his side out of the guns at his back. "He means you no disrespect, Mr. Valyntine. He always talks like he does." She gave a slight smile. She knew that if there was a fight the place would be destroyed with the three of them and Drake would not be pleased at all. Dante gave a bow of his head even as he let go of Mita. "My apologies, Mr. Valyntine. I meant no disrespect." No more explaining. "I will stay silent, I guess but no fussing if I open my mouth here and there." He held up his hands in slight surrender as the guns were still pointed at him. He knew he could take them out and this man in front of him. Most definitely the five guards at least.
By the time Casander could tell them what Dante would do they would be down and out. He looked over at Mita. "This is all your fault. I will keep the peace this once."

Casander's eyes drifted between Mita and her guard and couldn't help but feel even more annoyed at the two. The younger vampire did not like trouble within his casino and always fixed it. The only way to fix the problem, in this case, was to two kill the both of them...which she could not do by himself and Drake Legend would bring his wrath down upon him and Laik. Casander did not care for his own life...only that of his maker. The younger vampire would not let harm come to his maker at all.
Casander watched as Dante's eyes moved to the five guards and back to Casander. He could feel a sense of cockiness and arrogance coming from the older vampire and chuckled softly, "Well, well, well. Someone is extremely cocky. Could you really take six vampires? Younger or not? And between you and me...these bullets are not just metal. These guards are completely capable of taking down a vampire."
Casander's eyes drifted towards the seer, "Surely you knew that Mita. Did you think I would not have my casino guarded completely?" Casander motioned to the guards to leave and in a flash, they disappeared from site to their respective posts. The younger vampire stretched slightly and looked at the two elder vampires...feeling slightly uncomfortable. He looked at Mita; no show of emotion portrayed on his face. "If you would not mind Mita...please...notify me before visiting me in the future. My visions are not as advanced as your's...not yet anyway."
Casander looked over at Dante, "Apology accepted Dante. I may seem crude but I am a member of the Magistrate. I have helped build this city from the ground up and it is my duty to protect it as you protect Mita. Surely you can understand. Now..." Casander paused for a few moments, wondering what to do. He really wanted to leave and let Laik know what was happening but he couldn't...he had 'guests' to entertain. "...whatever you wish I shall do to the best of my abilities."

Mita was staring up at Dante's pale eyes as if she could see them. How she wished she could see just normally. Just once. But she would never get to see again. She didn't exactly understand why her father had forced her to always wear these bandages over her eyes as a child. She knew now that it caused her blindness in reality. It had destroyed her vision and she would never get it back. Her father had taken a whole lot from her. Including her freedom.
Dante stared down at Mita with an angry expression and wasn't entirely sure if she even knew what problems she had caused. Just them being associated with Drake could have anybody come after them for wanting to kill them to get to Drake. He wasn't sure even who had gotten word to the three assassins that had come after Mita and they never told either when they had died at his hands. Mita didn't know about those assassins or he wasn't sure if she did and just ignored it.
Dante had looked over the five guards and then back at Casander. He lifted a shoulder as he heard the words out of Casander's mouth. "I've had to deal with more than that. And bullets are only so strong as the ones' aiming. And by the distance..." He looked at the ones aiming at him. "They are close which makes hand to hand more deadly since the guns would be flying. Not to mention you wouldn't risk their shooting one of your clientele."
He stood there calmly even as Mita stood beside him. "Not to mention that Mita sees things quicker than you and she may be a dainty woman but she isn't defenseless." He murmured with a slight chuckle at that. He looked over at Mita as he took her hand gently and she began to swing their hands like a little girl.
"Of course I knew that. I wouldn't expect anything less from a member of the Council." Dante tilted his head some as he watched Mita. Her face was always calm as if she truly had no care in the world. "I did as I came in the door and moved further in. I guess it wasn't much of a warning that I was coming, was it?" She let a slight grin come to her lips as she let go of Dante's hand and folded her hands in front of her over her skirt. "Some of my forced sights are quicker I guess and so I will further notify you before I step inside then."
Dante groaned beside her. "Can't you forbid her coming here? That means I will be here more often and both my ladies won't be pleased not to mention my future ladies." He felt Mita's arm connect with his ribs and groaned out. "Hey! It's not my fault I enjoy my times to the most of which I can. You should do the same..." But then Dante coughed. "Or not. That means I would have more work to do."
Mita shook her head and then looked at Casander. "Just a tour is fine. I want to see this black pool." Dante looked interested then. "You have a black pool? I so am in for seeing that."

The younger vampire's eyes darted between the two vampires and couldn't help but feel a shadow of a smile form on his face. They were like siblings...brother and sister...and Dante was the over protective little brother. But the vampire couldnt help but sense a slight sexual tension between the two of them, regardless of how right or wrong it may have seemed. Dante and MIta were a powerful team...probably more powerful than Laik and himself. He wondered if Dante had any powerful gifts or if his only strength came from age and experience.
Casander bowed slightly at both of the elder vampires, "Then I shall show you the black pool. If is in fact a sight to behold. No other casino has anything quite like it. Follow me..."
Casander led Mita and Dante silently to the pool area. He did not say the word for he did not wish to say the wrong thing and accidently angering the two elder vampires. Casander would not stand a stand between the two of them, let alone both of them. Truth was, Casander was scared of them, though no one would be able to tell. The Magistrate member had a cool, and confident demeanor. Oh how he wished he was an elder vampire...but power comes with time and patience...and Casander had all the time in the world. As long as he was careful that is.
The three of them eventually made it to the pool area and noticed no one was in the pool. The black pool was a sight to behold. A giant, black stoned raven stood tall in the middle of the pool...its' wings outstretched. The pool went eight feet deep throughout and was over forty feet in length and width...making it seem like a black pit. Truth was, it was only the 'container' of the pool was black, but with the lighting the water shined as if it was liquid mercury. Casander chuckled darkly and looked back to see Mita's and Dante's expression,
"Welcome to the pool area."

Mita was meeting Dante word for word as they had done forever. In truth they had a want for each other but always kept it at bay for obvious reasons. You always wanted the one you could never have. She stuck her tongue out at Dante. "I knew you would want to see that." Dante grinned. "Of course I do. Think of it a body in the pool in complete black bottomless looking pool and pressing that body up against the side while you whisper things of quite interesting in their ear. Feeling their breath come quicker while you are pressed against them. Mmm... Just a thought."
Dante gave a slight shrug even as he watched Mita's facial features. Mita opened her mouth as she gasped. "You know you are so... Grrr!" They were speaking as they walked and Dante kept a hold of Mita's hand as she swung their hands. She wished she could actually see it through her own eyes but her chin slid some down as if she were looking at the floor. Dante watched Mita knowing she was thinking of something saddening for her. Most people didn't see what he saw. Spending night after night with her he got a look at a piece of her few really got to see. He didn't know what she was thinking but he wondered what it was.
Mita's chin came up as she heard Casander's chuckle. She looked out at the water as if she were looking at it. She let go of Dante's hand and moved closer to the water before she knelt down and ran her hand through it. Her lips curved into a smile. Dante watched her closely before he turned and looked over his shoulder with a look as a man began to walk in. An older vampire. Mita turned to look as if she could see him as well. Her chin came down some but then she was forcing a vision on Casander.
A girl that looked like Mita. She took a deep breath as she walked with bandaged eyes and a stick. The stick moved rhythmically with each step before it had fallen to the ground and she took steps into a black lake. The area was full of land. Grass was all over. Trees were strong swaying in the wind. But then it all disappeared and they were back to the present. She felt a pain in her back and gasped. She had been concentrating on the vision she was giving Casander.
"Dante..." She fell into the pool but surfaced quickly. Dante was already moving in a blur towards the man. He grabbed the man pulling him up by his neck. "I told you that no where is good for you, Mita." He released him but caught the vampires head between his hands as his muscles shook with the fighting the man was giving him. She slowly pulled herself out of the pool to look up as if she knew something was coming and it dropped down in front of her. But what that man didn't expect was the woman to grab his leg and pulling it completely off. She tossed it aside as she spoke. "Casander, behind you. Three more."
She then spoke even as she shoved her hand deep into the man's chest as she knelt over him. She felt him grab the bandages off her eyes and her sightless eyes were completely clear like water in a glass. She looked at him as if she were seeing him. Dante had pulled the man's head clean off the body and threw it aside. He proceeded to rip the man's heart out. "It was expected you would come here, Mita. They knew you'd wish to meet with the other seer."
Mita spoke quietly. "Shut up, Dante." She pulled the heart out of her victim before she felt Dante pull the stick from her back as she screamed. Her blood and the water from the pool dripping from her. Dante and her went towards Casander as their fangs glinted with their anger. Dante picked up the bandages and squeezed them getting the water from them. "You seem hungry, Mita. I think you should feed." With that two more came down but Mita was already moving.
Her steps barely made contact with her movements. Dante began to run as well. They were already getting a test of the area in a way. "You should go, Mita." Mita let a grin curve her lips. "And let you have all the fun? I'm hungry, remember?" He tossed her her bandages as they passed each other. "Left, right, straight ahead... Look out." She whispered softly as two chased her. But then she turned on her heel. "Your going to fly through the city of angels..." She was climbing the walls like she were a human spider.
She was getting them to follow her higher and higher. Before she let go and turned mid-air to bring one down. The vampire under her struggled even as his body hit the ground causing most bones in his body to let out cracking noises as they broke. She gave a dark giggle as she sunk her fangs into his neck. She was draining the vampire as if he were human before she sent her hand into his chest. She took the heart out and threw it at the other vampire that was staring shocked at her.
"That's three down." She ran her tongue over her bloody lips. "Mmm... I'm still hungry, Dante. Are you?" He chuckled before grunting as he tore off a vampires arms and threw one to her. "Suck on this. Chicken wings?" She looked over at Casander. "Remember California? How they tried to keep us for some time in that cavern? Blah." Dante laughed softly. "We were bored so stayed awhile until they tried to inject you with something."
She raised a hand as the vampire came down and bowed to her. The vampire got to his knees as he put his head on the floor. "I... I give up! I surrender!" Dante came over when he was done pulling the other vampires apart as if they were paper. "Oh you got a puppy now! You ask for mercy when you were going to brutally slaughter a council member and two of the King's own men... Err one man and one woman! What say you, Mita? Let it live or kill it like the rat he is."
Mita with blood all over her face and body turned as if to look at Dante. "I'm still hungry, Dante." She murmured softly. "You are always hungry, Mita." But he was looking along her back. He slowly pulled off her shirt and put it on her. "Drink up!" He picked up the last vampire by the back of the shirt as the man began to struggle to get free of the two elder vampires. "Please no! Let me go!"
Mita spoke softly. "But I'm so hungry..." Dante shoved him against the wall as Mita came up towards the vampire that Dante held in place. She slipped easily between the two vampires and Dante's head came down to place a gentle kiss on the top of her head as her mouth moved closer until her fangs slid into the vampires throat and the man began to scream more and more. The blood traveled all down the front of her body as it did to the male vampire. Mita moaned her delight before she stopped drinking.
Her head came back as she rested against Dante. "You need to move, Mita. I'm going to play with this one." Mita began to get out from between the two easily even as she looked as if looking for Casander. "My apologies for the mess, Casander."

Casander continued to eye the two and couldn't help but let out a soft sigh. It was a neutral sigh. Not showing his distaste or any emotion towards the two. Truth was, the younger vampire did not know how to label the two of them. Siblings? Lovers? Star-crossed lovers? Alright, that is a little over dramatic but the two of them had so much sexual tension Casander wanted to get them a room for the night just to be rid of them both. Perhaps the council member would do that.
Then, Casander felt his mind was being invaded as he gasped at the incoming vision. The black of his eyes disappearing, leaving nothing but white pits for his eyes. He saw a young girl covered in bandages...a walking cane...beautiful fields...then the vision ended before the vampire had a time to understand the vision; it ended. Casander's eyes returned to their normal state and watched as Mita gasped. The vampire tensed, they were being attacked.
"Casander, behind you. Three more."
The vampire quickly turned around and bared his fangs at the invaders. The three attackers ran at full speed towards Mita, not carrying about the council member at all.
"Big mistake..."
With speed and grace only a vampire could match, Casander jumped in the air and kicked the two vampires in the skill and while he was in midair, Casander wrapped his legs around the middle vampire and manuvered his body so the vampire's head hit the pool floor hard. Casander let out a hiss and twisted his legs right and left, hearing violate cracks within the vampire's neck before Casander shifted again, completely twisting the head off.
Casander quickly grabbed the daggers hidden within his boots and threw them at one of the vampires; one went through his heart and the other his head. Casander let out an inhuman growl as he lunged at the remaining attacker. Casander punched the vampire in the face with his right hand, hearing another violent crack before his left hand plunged through the vampire's chest and ripped his heart out before squishing it in his hand. Casander let out a roar; his fangs still extended and his eyes filled with rage as he turned to Mita and Dante.
He saw the two of them look back at Casander and the council member merely glared. If hell could be portrayed by eyes, Casander's eyes would be it.
"My apologies for the mess, Casander."
Casander let out a growl, "You are sorry?" He spat on the ground and looked back at the two, "You brought this here. You should know someone in your position needs to be guarded. You cannot simply wander off whenever you fucking feel like it! There are consequences to be had!" Casander's voice echoed throughout the pool area. He did not care who heard him. "You act as if you were just turned Mita! You could have seen this attack coming earlier if you just focused! But no! You and your bloody childish behavior had to get us attacked!"
Casander's body began to shake...he felt he was about to explode from the anger. "You endangered me...my casino...and most of all...my maker...all because of your god damn carelessness. You have ruined The Raven's reputation and credibility. How dare you...how dare you Mita bring this here..." Casander's eyes widened slightly as he clenched his fist. "If I failed to protect you...if you were to be killed...what do you think the king would do to my maker?! I care not for my own life but for his! Did you think of that when you fucking waltz in here like some god damn queen!"
Casander kicked one the corpses, watching it fly into a wall. "And you!" Casander's eyes gazed to Dante, "You failed to protect your charge. It is your sole duty to watch over her and protect her! Your only responsibility in this bloody excuse for a world and you failed! I have numerous responsibilities and I achieve them without a flaw! You are an elder Dante! What is your excuse?" Casander shifted his eyes so he could look at both of them.
"You are no longer invited to stay here this night. I am sure Thor Ericson has more suitable arrangements for the both of you. Leave. Now. I care not if you are elders. I am member of the council and this is my casino. You may tell our king of my behavior towards you both but...I believe he would be more disappointed with you both than me. His seer...who wondered off carelessly without her guardian...and her guardian failing to keep track of her."
Casander let out a hiss and retracted his fangs, attempting to calm himself down. "Both of you must leave now. You have caused enough trouble this night."

Mita spoke with Dante as if he were the second side of the same coin. Most didn't even know if they were two sides of the same coin or if the two were just like talking to the same person really. They didn't care. They did and acted the way the two had always been. Tanisha had once labelled them as two snakes walking about just about to strike at anything.
She had gasped as the pain went through her but she knew that Dante was furious that she had gotten hurt. She was furious as well. But nothing shown from the two. They were beyond void of emotions showing. But when it was all finished and the fight was over. Mita stared at Casander as if she could see him but she turned her head to look up at Dante as Casander growled. But then as Casander spoke Dante grabbed Mita's shoulder as if to pull her back from Casander. "You would never know what it is like. You say being guarded is such a wonderful thing! You think of it as always being watched! It is a cage fit for the children. Try it sometime!" She hissed at him not holding her tongue.
"And as for seeing them I could have but you sound like every other fucking male I have ever conversed with. You want me to act like the rest then fine. Watch your tone with me, child! I am THE King's seer. Do not ever speak to me as such again or this bloodbath will look like just a walk in the park." She looked towards the door. "And I know exactly who will pay dearly for your insolence. You speak as if a child now but remember my words for I do not make idle threats."
Dante spoke with a grin. "Well said, Mita. The fool thinks he may have the upper hand. And as for telling Drake. I told you firstly that along the lines of do you invite a snake into your nest. What I meant was that Mita may come off as child-like but trust me when I say a snake sheds many skins. But I am sure we could if persuaded nicely since I run my own business ventures as we used to move from place to place that we could fix the creditability. And as for those you care for. They were perfectly safe. They sought just one. Maybe two since I am a road block." He spoke calmly. He reached into his pocket and looked at Mita. "Calm yourselves. You both sound like children and it's giving me a bloody headache."
He looked at Mita and then back at Casander. "I protected my charge as best to my ability. I was quite preoccupied and she was to be reading when I was about to have my fill of two women she took that opportunity to run." He glared at the man before him. "I don't have to make excuses to you, piss ant. I can have it fixed and you can waltz around, drama queen as if it never happened and probably gain more from my fixing it. But..."
He looked over at Mita. "It's your turn on that part. I called Drake last time we needed something fixed. He about tore my head off." He gave a shudder before looking at Casander. "Trust me you are small change compared to the King. And as for disappointed with our behavior... Do you really think you would go away unscathed? He would tear into more than the two of us. One reason alone... You are a council member which is the fact you'd possibly live through it. But she has a few somethings you don't have." Dante watched as Mita crossed her arms over her breasts showing her stubbornness.
"I'm not calling Drake. Especially since I was trying to be nice for once. Let his casino be born in shambles for the treatment." Dante turned her around to face him. "Fix it, Mita. It is your fault." Mita gave an angry sigh before she reached in Dante's pocket and pulled out the cellphone. She began to walk as she put the phone on speaker as she made her way to the exit. "You owe me, Dante." She soon heard a hello on the other end.
"I found this wonderful casino, Drake! You must come and see it for yourself. It's called The Raven!" She took the phone off speaker and brought it to her ear. "I'm sorry for bothering you but thought you should know! I will leave you be now. We are to go visiting other casinos as well. Yes, Dante is with me. Talk to you soon!" She hung up and handed the phone back to Dante. "Very nicely done, Mita." She stuck her tongue out at him even as people gasped as they watched her.
She heard the whispers of was that the new look that Mita had and a few women went towards Dante. "Is that..." Dante gave a nod. "Don't get too close. She's quite cranky at the moment." He whispered to them and the women spoke. "We must come back to The Raven more often then! To think of who we see here." Dante looked over his shoulder at Casander with a smirk before he went up to Mita and put his hand on her back. "Let us go find some place more to get you warm." Mita gave a soft sigh even as she slapped his hand away. She stopped some as she neared the bar she had stood at earlier.
