Humans
City Dwellers
These humans live in the city of New Vegas and pay their blood taxes like good boys and girls. They have jobs and lives much like before the apocalypse, but at what price? City Dwellers are subject to vampire laws and must obey them to the letter or may end up as blood slaves.
Havenites
These humans refuse to live under the rule of the Vampires. They live in Haven where they grow their own crops and animals for food. They live behind a fortified wall build out of whatever they can find to make it high and strong defend against the never ending zombie attacks. They also run raids on the city for supplies and medicine they can’t make themselves. They travel by horseback. They are known to the Vampires and City Dwellers as “The Resistance”.
Holy Order
The holy order has hunted Vampires for centuries. Vampires would be quite arrogant to think the order did not survive the apocalypse. In the early 14th century, the vampire population exploded. The many deaths were explained away by the Catholic church as a plague call The Black Death. The church began training priests to battle the vampire menace. Over time, through breeding and training, priests became powerful adversaries. They do not have super powers but they are the strongest and fastest humans in existence. While Zombies have been added to the list of those who must die, they still stand firm to the belief that Vampires are the spawn of Satan and must be annihilated at all costs. They can be identified by the tattoo of a cross on their faces down the bridge of their nose. They are often seen teamed up with hunters.
Hunters
These humans are the offspring of the select few who knew about the creatures of the night long before the apocalypse and were raised with the knowledge of what they were, where to find them and how to kill them. They are skilled with knives, and guns. They are armed with journal of knowledge passed down from their fathers and a give-em-hell attitude. They know a little about a lot of things, just enough to make them dangerous…for creatures of the night, that is. They are often seen teamed up with Priests or making temporary homes in outland settlements like Haven.
(Further Clarification)
Hunters are born and raised to be hunters. They are nomads since hunters cannot afford the luxury of settling down. They know who they are from an early age and are often given a gun at the age of 5 for the monster in their closet or under the bed. A hunters father keeps a journal that was kept by his father and his father before him. They only add to it if they encounter some kind of new creature or find new information about a creature already in the journal, making notes in the margins. It is filled with the knowledge they need to hunt down and kill the creatures of the night. Hunters tend to seek out other hunters in order to have a partner, it's always better to have someone have your back.
Homo Superior Superior
These 'humans' are the next step in evolution, a human genetic response to the Apocalypse and the presence of Vampires, Mutants, Lycans, Zombies and other mythical creatures. They are the epitome of peak physical skill, having superhuman levels of strength, speed, reflexes, agility, stamina, and durability. They're capable of resisting the powers of the creatures of the night and mutants, including compulsion. As of yet, the Vampires are unaware of this development in human evolution. These 'humans' are not mutants but the next step in the evolution of the general populace. While the Vampires are working hard on developing a stronger, more durable human, nature has done the work for them with much more proficiency. This breed of human lives in secrecy and their evolutionary step up is not detectable by Vampires via blood tests like the mutants are. The code words are “Skinny caramel macchiato to go”. The mutant gene is detectable by the vampires because it is present in the DNA strands. With Homo Superior Superior, there is no detectable change in the DNA except on a molecular level that is impossible to detect with the current technology.
Because this is an evolutionary response to the creatures who pose a threat to humanity, and hunters and priests have been exposed to them for generations, all hunters and priests will now be classified as Homo Superior Superior.
They are ALWAYS welcome in Resistance camp towns.
Weaknesses are a toned down version of the weaknesses shared by normal humans with the addition of a voracious appetite and hypoglycemia.
