The midnight hour was drawing near, but the night was still in full swing as people massacred about their normal business. But tonight felt a little different for one woman, see it was her first night on the town, and the crowded streets of New Vegas was a new scene for her. She had managed to slink into the city a couple nights ago, had found a place to crash the days away, in relative hiding from the vampire cult that ran this city. She hadn’t noticed it before but they seemed to be running around everywhere. What was even more strange the people of this city seemed to have no problem with their occupation. In fact most people seemed to worship the vampires. A thought that made chills run down her spine.
But tonight was her first night out. She’d decided she would never find any leads of her missing father couped up in a tiny one bedroom apartment that seemed to have been abandoned. So tonight she was on the prowl. Her sensitive nose picking up the slightest of changed in the air around her, and she tried to avoid eye contact with anything remotely vampy. She’d come out tonight adorned in shredded jeans and a simple short tank top shirt with a matching tattered jacket. Many would see her as a lower level worker, not someone to be bothered with. But some would see her for what she was, a werewolf.
Something about the way she moved was to clean, to precise, almost like a big cat’s. Her eyes a crystalline blue had the look of a predator staring through the mirrors of humanity her eyes portrayed. Simply put, this woman standing only five foot four inches tall, had a dangerous air about her that anyone could read as clear as day. She was also new it was very obvious she’d snuck in some how or another. But no one seemed to want to bother her. Good. She didn’t like having problems so soon in the game.
She paused on a corner between two streets and let her nose pick up the simple delicacies most Humans missed. The smell of pavement, people, clothing, drinks, foods… it was delicious to her. She found herself lighting a cigarette and taking a soft drag from it to clear her palette. Even for a werewolf Moon had always told her she had a far more sensitive sniffer than most others. She didn’t care though. Moon wasn’t here … she was. And god knew how many other werewolves were lurking about. She had thought about what she would do when she encountered one, because there was no if in the matter, she knew there were other wolves here. She’d picked up a few of their scents already. She also had heard rumors of wolves lurking under the city. So never an if only a when, for the other wolves.
She exhaled and found her crystal eyes rolling over the store front of a club called the pit. She shrugged her shoulders and took another drag from the cigarette before her feet took her across the street at a casual pace. She pushed past the door; the line had already dwindled enough for her to just mosey in. The assault on her senses were immediate, her ears screamed in pain her nose shrieked and her eyes dilated a little to fully. She stood nearly in shock as the music blared industrialized sounds people passed as music now a days. Lights flashed around the room and caused her to get a little dizzy. It was the scent’s that grounded her. So many variations of people were about her. She grasped onto the scents mentally and brought herself a margin of focus back to her scrambling mind. She could feel the cuticles in her fingers tingling as the sudden shock had nearly startled her into shifting partially. She shivered and forced herself to move.
She could think of nothing better than a good stiff drink, and thankfully, she could smell he variations the club had to offer. She slinked around the people and made her way over to the bar. Once she’d squeezed through the mass of grinding bodies she found herself a stool and planted herself there as if she owned the joint. She waited for the bartender to approach her before locking her blue eyes with his and smiling her sweet innocent smile at him asked for a whiskey sour before dismissing him to get her drink. As he made to make her drink her blue eyes turned back to examine the perimeter of the club. She kept her eyes open, now, for anything vampiric she needed to get one to herself… She noted the upstairs booth’s with curtains and a wicked smile played at her lips as she continued her search of the club. Tonight was definitely going to be tricky.

Axelle had begun to hum as he walked about the streets. Everything was oh so perfect for the lone wolf. He had his meal and was now out looking for entertainment. His thoughts were still on forty or something years ago when he could have sworn that that woman vampire had been his sister. He could have sworn even to this day he had heard her call his name. It just didn't fit though. He brought his hand up to his messy hair and messed it up more. It couldn't be true. His sister a vampire?
He had to definitely find out for sure though. He had to know if that really was his sister. He continued to stroll the street. His shoes making a thud with each step he took. His black suit looking exceptional as always and his loosened tie making him look almost reckless. Women said he always looked dangerous and that a night with him was like sleeping with a beast. He could play either part that he liked. Dominant or submissive. In life though he was as dominant as ever. He didn't get to being so confident if it were otherwise.
He pulled out a pack of cigarettes and began to thump the bottom on his palm as he walked. Finally after a few steps he opened the pack and took one out. He placed it easily between his lips before inhaling the scents about him through his nose. "Mmm... Nice a scent I would know anywhere." He placed the pack back into his pocket before pulling out a book of matches. He tore one off and lit it before dropping the match to the ground. He stopped as he watched a woman staring at a window before she went inside.
If he remembered correctly the place had been called The Pit. He took the unlit cigarette from his mouth and took the pack back out before putting it back inside. Intrigued he began to walk forward when he inhaled the air through his nose once more. The lingering scent of wolf could be smelled and he let a grin curve his lips. What was this woman wolf planning to do? He began to walk to the door and gently pulled the door open.
He held the door open for a couple women who giggled as they passed him. "Always a pleasure, ladies." They leaned close to whisper of the handsome man even as he excused himself and began to follow the scent of the woman. He stayed back a bit once he found her and saw the way she looked around. Was she looking for someone or perhaps was she thinking of doing something here? He slowly and lazily walked up to the bar right beside her and tapped on the bar lightly with his knuckles to get the bartender's attention.
The bartender came over and he gave the man a wicked grin. "I'd like a shot of Tequila. Actually make it four." He spoke easily and set credits down on the bar before looking at the lady as the bartender poured his drinks. He didn't speak for a moment. "You seem to be looking for someone... Anything I can do to help that?" He murmured in a lazy drawl. "Or perhaps I'm bothering you. In any case I can be quite the entertainer or so people tell me."
He pulled out the pack of cigarettes before he put one once more between his lips and then put the pack in his pocket and grabbed the book of matches back out. He lit the match and then proceeded to light his cigarette. A few who traveled with him had sworn that he didn't really ever light a cigarette because he generally put one between his lips and then placed it back in the pack when he was doing something or thinking about something. He'd respond with 'I'm thinking so I figure what's inside that I breathe in can wait until the thought or action is finished.'

Her eyes had traveled about skittering by various people and taking a bit more interest in others. She was definitely looking for something. She took a gentle sniff of the air, a delicate movement that only a trained eye would notice of the wolf behavior laying dormant within her. But as she tasted the air she found to many scents, to many subtle changes, mainly human sweat, and horemones, maybe a couple mutants, but she couldn’t distinguish more than that, nor could she find the icy cold scent of death that cloaked vampires. She sighed and her attention was returning to the bar just as Axelle made his way to the bar.
She took in another sniff and was hit by the smell of cigarettes first, her mouth went dry. She hadn’t smelled that in some time, not fresh ones at least. She turned blazing blue eyes on him as he ordered his four shots and was struck by what else was familiar in his scent. She watched his movements her body on alert now was tensed. He paid for his drinks and seemed to be thinking. She could tell he’d come to the bar directly beside her for a reason. Was he one of the local wolves? Was he their alpha? No she didn’t sense that in him. She could normally tell the rank of a wolf when she met them, even in human form. It was strange though with this one… he didn’t seem to hold a rank.
His voice cut through her thought process, her blue eyes still glued to him as he asked her about her search, asked if he could help. She blinked at him her eyes studying weighing her options considering what the outcomes of her own statements were before she said anything, and one could almost read it within her irises. However, as she was just on the verge of speaking the bar keep came back with Axelle’s four shots and her one whiskey sour. She quirked a brow at the bar keep and locked her eyes with his again, he retreated swiftly. Now that the barkeep was gone her blue eyes flicked back to gleam at Axelle curiosity seemed to have win out her inner monologue.
“I’m not here for entertainment sweet heart… but then again, stranger things have happened… Who are you?” She asked. Her eyes sharp, but she couldn’t help dragging in the scent of the lit cigarette dangling from his lips her tongue flicked out to brush her lips once and vanished again. She knew that they were hard to come by, and they were expensive, beside that he had ordered the four shots of tequila. It was odd because she’d heard most of the local wolves were hidden away bellow ground, and she could only imagine that meant they were poor too. So who was this wolf here she pondered various ideas on the matter while she awaited his reply.

Axelle knew he should be no where near anybody at all really but did it really matter? He stayed out in the open in hopes of seeing that woman again. If he found out that the woman had his sister's face then he would tear her to shreds. No one should be able to haunt anyone like that. But she wouldn't have known his name if it was just some random woman, right? Right. Things were so complicated. He came here searching for his sister that was all. He shouldn't be standing next to another wolf but if this wolf got close to the vampires then maybe he'd see that woman again.
He took a drag of his cigarette and moved it to the corner of his mouth as he inhaled through his nose. He didn't even blink as he ordered the four shots. He stared at the bar watching the woman wolf out of the corner of his eye though. If she made a move he would make one as well. His thoughts were deep and filled with not just one thing but three or four. One that woman that had been trapped in that building with him. Two this woman standing beside him. Three would this beautiful woman attack or make nice. Four the vampires. The vampires came last because he wasn't too worried. He hadn't made it to three hundred and eighteen years by being easy to take down.
He slowly turned his head to her so that his eyes met her eyes. Most couldn't tell his age at all and that was what made it better. Very few attacked him just because of how much ability he had with the whole age gave you power thing. His lip twitched at the corner as he waited for her answers. He took a long drag of his cigarette before pulling it from his lips and he began to rearrange the shot glasses. He moved them back and forth in a zigzag, made them look like the corners of a square, and more.
"Such a shame that you are not here for entertainment." He looked to the shot glasses and began moving them once more. He stopped playing with the shot glasses full of Tequila and looked at her. "I'm nobody." That simple really before he picked up a shot glass and decided on setting it back down. "But most know me as Axelle." He spoke lazily before he picked up a random one and drank it before putting it back on the bar with a slight cough. "Mmm... The burn is the best part, don't you think so?"
He pulled out the pack of cigarettes and pulled one out. "Want it?" If she got the understanding of what he was doing with the shots of Tequila then he wouldn't be drinking them too soon. He began to move the remaining three around as he had done the four. The movements less shape wise as he had already drank one leaving only three. One question down. The next question would be either where did you come from, what the hell are you doing with those shot glasses and/or why, or what are you doing here.
His eyes slid over to her eyes once more as he waited.

Her eyes sparked with amusement as she watched the man’s actions like a hawk. His words were sly and he seemed to be playing at some game or another. Auralise quirked a brow and let her head dip to the side a little, silky black hair sliding down before those blue eyes. She seemed to have a bit of mischief dancing about in her eyes and a coy smirk pulling at her lips as her eyes danced across his features, studying the minute changes in his expression. Then he flicked the drink back and set the shot glass down, Auralise took a sip of her whiskey sour before turning to face Mr. Axelle a little more.
He’d asked if she liked the burn of the liquor she gave a simple shrug and turned her eyes away from him to study the glass before her. She was pondering over his words when the offer for the cigarette was made. Her eyes seemed to light up as they looked at him. It was obvious she wasn’t used to trusting though as the light quickly faded. She reached for the smoke and took it gently from him allowing it’s scent to race up her nose and drench her senses. She sighed and held the smoke to her lips and lit it with a bar top candle. She leaned back up and watched as his fingers started to make the shot glasses dance again and quirked a brow.
She figured out what his game was. She was allowed one question per shot glass. She took in a deep drag of the cigarette cherishing its flavor while she considered this man. Axelle, that was his name, she had a feeling he wasn’t of a rank but how could that be? She took a sip of her drink and let her fingers trail around the rim of the glass while she watched him play from the corner of her eyes. The people around them seemed to not even notice them. How silly humans could be. Evolution had honestly done well to bring Werewolves around. She felt a little supieror in that moment and that was when it hit her.
Her eyes turned to lock on him and a smirk played on her lips as she began to speak in a slightly hushed voice, almost like a whisper but a little more earthy. “I would ask you if you were from the local pack… but I don’t sense any rank in you. So that has to mean you’re a Lone-Wolf. “ She said it as it should have been said, Lone-Wolf were of a rank all their own. Just as she’d been told her type of Rank was of its own breed to. Or at least Moon had talk her that much. She felt a pain tug on her heart strings as she remember her alpha and wondered if they searched for her even now. She’d been the only female wolf in their pack… and it had been a small pack; most outlander packs were small though, to many mouths to feed could result in one feeding within the pack… She shivered and turned her eyes to look at Axelle again .”My name is Raven…” She said nodding her head in a formal greeting between wolves from different locals. Her eyes never left his but seem to regain a tenseness as she looked at him and took a deep drag from her cigarette.
“So my next question is this, why did you approach me? “ She was a straight to business sorta gal, and being an omega, a wolf within the pack but free to do as it wishes, it was like having the best of both worlds. Besides that being omega seemed to calm down other wolves around her, her dominance was implied as a protector only, a wolf that could break rank to protect another from the Alpha if needed, or to stop the alpha if needed, that was what Raven was.

Axelle knew many couldn't tell his rank or age. To him neither was important. He could play off any age he wished to. He wasn't one of these young wolves but he had learned not to show his age. You didn't get as old or older than him by showing your hand and grabbing the winnings before your opponent showed his hand. You waited sometimes to the last possible minute to even show your cards. He was watching her out of the corner of his eye. He didn't need his full eyes on her at the moment.
He saw the way her eyes lit up when she was offered a cigarette. Ah, so she had a thing for wanting better things. She had wanted it he was pretty damn sure since he walked in. He felt her take the cigarette and watched her with it. None of his emotions shown on his face at all. He began to play once more with the shot glasses as she lit the cigarette. He stretched his back getting the laziness out of the muscles. He then proceeded to lift a hand to run his fingers along his tie. He had always had a penchant for the finer outfits in life.
He had always been a lone wolf. He didn't run with a pack and if he did it wasn't for very long at all. He preferred his own rules and codes to live by. No one was worthy of his undying loyalty yet. Well, that could all change depending on what codes the pack held to. If he thought they were run intelligently then he stayed with them longer if not then he moved on quickly. It was that simple. Don't get attached and don't get yourself killed. Two rules. Easy rules. But if he did get attached then what? Who knows.
His eyes slid to the woman werewolf beside him as she began to whisper so softly. "Does it?" He questioned simply perking an eyebrow at her. No elaboration or answer to her statement. His lips curved as if amused by her statement. "Who says I'm not from many packs and have no rank because I moved on before a rank was formally given to me?" He sounded almost sing song about it before he turned back to playing with his shot glasses. It was kind of true that he had moved on before anyone thought him too dangerous within the pack mostly the Alpha and sought out his death. Granted he could truly fight but sometimes you had to think before that and with too many after you you had to plan the minute detail really.
He saw her shiver and perked an eyebrow. "Leave the social attributes of..." He dropped what he had said knowing she'd know the meaning of the cut off. Wolves. "We are just two beings sitting here enjoying our drinks and the company." His eyes held her own without anything showing of what his intentions were. He stared at her with a slight look as if contemplating an answer. He tossed back the Tequila before he set it down on the bar with a thud. "I was intrigued by what you were planning to do. You seem like a smart girl. I figured you were planning something that could be quite stupid indeed. Am I not mistaken?"
He tilted his head some as he watched her. "Or perhaps I was hoping for some fun. You are quite beautiful after all. I'd have to be blind not to notice. But isn't it said that blind boys don't lie?" He chuckled softly. "Or maybe I was in hopes of a drink and saw you standing here?" He leaned in and took in her scent through his nose. He shrugged his shoulders and sat back in his bar stool comfortably.

She took another generous drag from the cancer filled happiness while he answered her. She listened but kept her thoughts about herself until he finished. She would take a sip of the whiskey sour and pass an idle smirk Axelle’s way when he mentioned not having rank because of leaving to soon. So he was a smart wolf, she could tell that because of the way he was dancing about her question. He didn’t want her to know to much about him. Tricky-trickster wolf. She thought smirking a little more. He reminded her of Moon a little in that manner. She sighed and brushed the thoughts of her pack aside and returned her attention fully to him.
Now was not the time to get caught up by the handsome devil in a Sunday hat. She knew he could be trouble. Much could be said about her. She shrugged at him as he finally continued his game of shot glass twirl and quirked a brow. “Who’s to say I am right at all about any of my observations. But I know one thing, a wolf isn’t given a rank in the pack. At least that is not the way I see it play out. A wolf is what they are, you can’t change their rank, all of it is dominance and how dominate you are determines your rank. Think about it… if you have a bunch of wolves, and rank is undetermined by such things, then we would always be fighting for the top. Their has to be order in our world. If not we all die. The blood suckers would see to that. “ She sighed and shrugged “But yes lets get off wolf Politics. Its unsettling to me. “
She said and closed the subject almost abruptly. She wasn’t all that fond of her rank. But she was what she was the liaison till the bitter end. She smirked mischief dancing in her eyes again “Oh I wouldn’t go so far as to call me smart… On any given day of the week I am normally getting into trouble. “ She smirked and shot almost half of her drink. “And what I’m planning is nothing… yet” She smiled and her eyes cast around the bar for a moment.
Truth be told this was more of an observation of the crowd here. She was looking for connections, she was looking for leads. She felt a little distraught. Leave it to her to run into the one Lone-Wolf in the city she would almost bet. But maybe he could help her anyways. She quirked a brow at him and smiled again, she seemed almost innocent, and frail, it was sometimes hard to believe she was a werewolf for others of her kind.
When he leaned in to take in her scent her body clearly tensed though, her muscles tightening and her form becoming rigid. She didn’t trust him, why would she… she wasn’t used to other wolves. She was used to her pack. The ones that had turned her and the ones who’d kept her safe for months… until she came out of her craziness and left them to find her father. She shot the rest of her drink when he moved away a little and felt chills running up her spine. Who was this wolf beside her. He was still being tricky and dancing about her questions. So she decided it would be best to entertain him for the moment and get a better feel for the tall dark stranger.
“Well if your not from the pack, and you never really received a rank, what is your purpose? Do you just amble through life aimlessly? Do you have no goals?” She said it with almost a yearning in her voice. Like she wished she could do just that. But she had to find the alpha within this city. But only after she made sure her father was within the city or had been killed here.

Axelle knew how to cover his bases and only answer a certain way to keep her in the dark but as well to answer precisely her question and nothing more. He always had a way of giving just enough information as to bait but not enough to quench the thirst of the person's understanding of him. He wasn't here to give too much information to anybody at all. He wasn't even sure that what he was looking for was here anyways but he would stay just long enough to make sure.
He looked at her out of the corner of his eye as she began to speak. "A wolf may or may not earn a rank. I have come across quite a few betas that I could take down without even breaking a sweat and so in actuality they were just given it in truth. The hierarchy is not what it used to be with so few of us. A dominant can be even the weakest in certain places." He gave a soft chuckle at that. "Don't base what once was on what is now, darlin'. And much is without order. Have you seen what is outside of these walls?" He spoke softly not trying to be cruel for he knew that many had lost quite a lot and gained but all was beyond them as to what happened to some. He looked somewhat sad then as he looked down.
Lost a whole lot. He may not be sure if it was his sister and being a vampire but he was damn well going to find out. She had been the only real family he had and he lost her once maybe twice but dammit! When she closed that subject he was pretty happy with it though. "I'm always in trouble but the smart comes in with how you get out of that trouble." He saw her look about at the bar and listened as she said that she wasn't planning anything yet. The yet was the problem.
He knew the innocent and frail weren't always so innocent and frail. The look she was giving him he had been through it dozens of times. And sometimes it had been his downfall depending on what was going on. He watched as she tensed when he leaned closer to sniff her. Interesting. Either meant she wasn't used to it or that she didn't trust him. Both seemed accurate though.
"Three questions all at once. Interesting. I am just ambling about the place. Not aimlessly. You gain knowledge from what you see. You understand life better by looking at it through other people's eyes. As for goals.... At the moment I have just one. Maybe two or three. I haven't decided yet." he shrugged his shoulders almost without care as to what would happen once he reached that goal though. He picked up a shot glass and drank it. He set it down with a thud. Then he did the same with the other two. "What about you? What is your goals?"

Auralise brought her eyes back around on Axelle as he explained his ways to her and listened when he spoke of the rank and asked about if she’d ever been outside of this city. She looked down and the look that crossed her face spoke volumes of her origins. She was not from the city, that much was obvious. The set of sadness on her was almost heavy in the air about her for a moment but she seemed to come back around as he answered her last questions and asked her of her goals.
She looked at the empty glass before her and spoke only a single word, but within that single word was the weight of hatred and anger that was damn near tangible in every syllable. “Vengeance…”
She slid the empty glass away from her and turned crystalline blue eyes to stare at him. Her eyes were such a deep sapphire the seemed to penetrate ones soul. She let her head tilt a little to the side and leaned closer to catch a good taste of his scent. Her eyes watching him, slowly closed long lashes concealing most of the blue of her eyes before she leaned back and smiled at Axelle. She smirked and shrugged. “My next step is to find the local pack.” She said standing up and bringing her form much closer to his. She paused here and felt her fingers tingle with the urge to touch him.
This gave her pause. She felt chills run up her spine again and wondered if her hackles would be raised if she was in wolf form. She smiled at him again coming back to herself from this reverie “You ever run in fur? Or are the city slickers to tame to run wild?” She asked smiling and pulling away from such close counters. She turned her body, angling herself to still see Axelle and the dance floor about them but her eyes never moved away from his. A strange wild air was about her and she seemed down right play full all of the sudden. She watched his movements, his posture, for any more clues about him. She couldn’t help the mischief look she gave him, she felt happy having met up with another of her kind after nearly three months alone in a world ruled by blood suckers and frail mortals. It was enlightening to say the least of this encounter. And so she waited.

Axelle stared at the woman wolf without any reflection of his thoughts. He watched as she looked down which told him she wasn't a city wolf. He had been many things. He was much like a chameleon in that regard. He had been many places so could fit in in most places without looking so out of place. Like now. He was dressed in a suit looking superb. He knew how to get information if he so wanted it. You gave a little and got a lot. Perhaps he should visit this wolf pack here. He had been under the radar here for awhile now but the vampires movements were strange now.
Something that had happened with a vampire by the name of Thor. As he understood it Thor was the lead magistrate and one of his council members had gotten caught up in it as well. What was her name? Angelique? Yes, that was it. He blinked clearing his thoughts and seeing the sadness about the woman wolf. What had happened to cause it? But he knew not to get caught up in it. What exactly with vengeance was she planning? "You know vengeance is closely related to revenge which is not very a strong motive to do something." He reached out a hand and tapped her shoulder lightly with his index finger. Just once and softly before he gave a soft sigh.
He saw her look at him as if she could read deep down into his soul but that wouldn't work with him. You couldn't find something that wasn't there. He met her eyes with an even stare. He watched even as she leaned close to him and he didn't back down at all. He stayed as he was not moving an inch. A wolf would take it as a sign of weakness if he backed away. But then he watched as her eyes slowly closed and he thought she meant to kiss him or wanted him to. He didn't even shift in his seat. He waited for her next move. But then she pulled back and he moved back at her words. "Your funeral, I guess. Or should I say I am happy that you wish to make your presence known to them. I have heard much of Lukias and his second, Dmitrius. I might not be of them but stories travel."
He spoke the words conversationally even as he looked at the empty shot glasses. But then he looked over as she stood and got closer to him. He watched her through what could be called eyes of a man that could make a woman weak at the knees and melt in the bedroom. Confidence and comfort rippled off him in waves. "I'm not a city slicker. I have been in the wilds before." He stood up easily bringing his body close to her body as if the animal he was was showing through. She may have pulled away but he wasn't. "You retreat when all you have to do is grab what you want." He murmured softly in a husky lilt. "And I choose to stay as I am until I decide to run. And trust me..."
He let a sly grin curve his lips as he leaned forward and whispered in her ear. "You would rather enjoy my chasing you rather than running from you since you wouldn't be able to catch me." He chuckles softly at that. "But you seem to be eying the dancers. Would you like to dance? I can promise I won't step on your toes and some say I dance much like I do in bed... Am very exquisite and accommodating." He laughed at his own joke then as he moved some away from her even as he brushed her some.

Her eyes turned to the empty shot glasses before them as well when he spoke of her funeral. She smiled a little, her funeral. It wasn’t that simple. She was not going to go down, not yet, not while those guilty of her father’s murder were still walking the world. She just had to figure out why, what had her dad been? She’d always felt the vampires of New Vegas were almost protective of the outer cities. At least that was what her father had always said. But Auralise had come to find that protection was sometimes a price to high to pay.
She glanced over Axelle again as he’d said something about Lukias and Dmiritrius, two names she would have to file away for later reference. They must be the alpha and beta here. She would just have to get to them, she figured. She turned ice blue eyes away from Axelle as he switched game faces and told her of his ways. City slicker or no he’d switched from a neutral standing to a much more aggressive one. She felt a chill run up her spine at the sudden change in his standing. Her eyes coming back up to look at him she tilted her head slightly to the side and truly studied him for a moment. The confidence in his stance, the set of his eyes and jaw. It nearly gave her pause how quickly he’d switched up.
As his body moved closer to her’s though and the husky cadence of his voice rolled from lips to slip softly along her skin in such a intimate manner. Auralise felt her heart slow suddenly, her body relax, and her stance loosen a little. Raven’s eyes danced as they turned to look into his eyes still so close until he laughed and moved away. She blinked once and watched as he moved away from her his last touch one of brushing by. She took another tentative sniff from his scent and then turned and made her way out onto the dance floor.
She didn’t wait for him ore even start really dancing with anyone, no it was only her on the dance floor in her mind. She moved, her body slipping quickly, into the beat while avoiding contact with any of the humans. She could feel her wolf closer to the surface now she could nearly feel the itch of fur. She was still very very young. Many Alpha’s wouldn’t let one this young out in public still. She let loose a laugh that was both filled with passion and a touch of the crazies it would seem. Her vibrant blue eyes turning to where she’d left Axelle. She smirked and tilted her head a little and then lifting a single finger she beckoned for him to join her on the floor, the wolf in her eyes dangerously close still. Something calming about her presence seemed to be seeping in the crowd, calm and luring in a way. A predator none the less.

(I npced you a bit, Raven with the dancing. If you want me to change it let me know and I will. I figured you may not mind it and if you like you can npc Axelle some in retribution as well. Lol!)
Axelle would stop the woman if she intended to cause conflict with what he was doing. It was that simple. He would stop her if she interfered with his plans. He didn't need someone causing waves when he didn't want waves. It may go with what the pack wanted but he had his own plans and if she tried to screw with it he would simply have to interfere and be where she was when she tried to cause them. But none of his thoughts shown on his face at all.
He knew though that Lukias was not one to play with and Dmitrius. He had heard much of what Dmitrius was capable of and as well being Dmitrius's lover he knew as well how Dmitrius responded to some things. He needed more information though from her. Perhaps he should send her to Dmitrius first. But he needed to know more before he sent this woman wolf anywhere near Dmitrius. Time to change back into that neutrality. He could change actions so quickly none knew which he truly was. Very few knew what he was truly capable of. With Dmitrius though it felt so much better this lonely existence. But even Dmitrius didn't know why he was here.
Dmitrius didn't know why he didn't join the pack or why he stayed a lone wolf. When asked he generally gave a response of he would rather live by his own rules and with freedoms than under another. Lame responses but easily spoken. The truth was he didn't know what the future held for him. What would happen if his sister was one of the vampires? What would he do or could he do? The thought haunted him constantly but he could never speak the words to anyone. It would be a death sentence and he knew it.
He watched as woman werewolf began to move away with eyes of interest. He continued to watch her even as he leaned back against the bar comfortably and confidently. He could tell by her movements that the wolf in her wanted to come out and play. He looked around at the crowd before looking back at her. How old was this woman wolf? He thought curiously. He heard her laughter and knew this woman was out for something and his instincts were telling him they weren't good somethings. He saw her lift a single finger and his movements as he moved from the bar were graceful as a wolf. Every movement making his body move to the music as if he were part of the song. He slowly moved up to her like a predator even as he brought a hand to her shoulder and spun her around before bringing her up against his body.
"You want a real taste of freedom? I can give it to you." He growled into her ear even as he grasped her hand and spun her out before bringing her back in hard against his body. He had danced with the best. Confidence was key to a good dance partner. The second was how good you were at seduction. A touch in places could be much associated with a sexual nature and made them more interested.
His lips were close to her lips as he blew on her lips tauntingly. "Do you want it? Take it before it slips through your fingers." He chuckled huskily at that before he dipped her bringing her back up slowly. "I love to dance. Did I ever mention that?"

Raven twirled and moved like water around him and with him as he directed her foot flow. She smiled at Axelle as he mentioned freedom to her. Ah to have freedom would be a good thing. But sadly she knew freedom was something this wolf could not give her. Nor any other. She smiled up at him as he whispered to her and spoke of her letting it slip away before he dipped her. She held the pose before returning up and slipping from his grasp to twirl around him. Which of course was not a wise decision on her part. She knew body language told a lot to werewolves. The fact that she even passed behind him and they were not of pack may give him a little edge. But then again being as old as he obviously was, she had a feeling he could control those animal instincts of his.
Raven was not so much, she nearly always let her animal take control. She felt more at peace with herself when she and the wolf didn’t fight. It was like an agreement, besides, a wolf is an instinctual being already, they know how to stay alive. So when she returned to the front of Axelle her eyes were somehow a more deep blue, if that were possible. She let out a light growl at him and moved very close to his body again.
“You may have mentioned your love of dance … “ She said “But then again you seem to love a lot of things.” She said smirking a little “Like trying to give me a freedom you cannot give… You may be a charmer Mr. Axelle. But I’m no fool girl…” She paused suddenly as the sharp scent cut across her sensitive nose and her body seemed to lock up. Her wolf was clearly just beyond her eyes, and she looked feral as hell for a moment. She gave a suddenly deep growl as her sapphire blue eyes followed a pair of men who were just entering the club.
She felt her heart grind against her ribs as every part of her being filled with hatred, unchaste and unadultered. She wanted blood, their blood. Two vampires seemed to be coming in for a drink… how sad for them. Raven took a step towards the vampires but suddenly halted as her memory kicked back in and her eyes cut back to Axelle who was still between her and the vampires.
“Play time is over Mr. Axelle…” She said eyes locked with his. (its cool ^.^)

Axelle knew how to do the steps as easily as if he were part of the music. He moved perfectly with the beat and some stopped to stare as he twirled Raven about. But then she slipped from his grasp and moved about him. He didn't turn to follow her because he knew how to take her out in a few moves just perfectly if he wanted to. But he didn't feel any threat coming from her really at the moment so he wouldn't hurt her. She was pretty and he would hate to have to hurt her.
He waited for her to come to the front of him and saw the deep blue of her eyes. He could tell her wolf was wanting to come out and play. He knew the signs from a hell of a long time of fighting his own down. He heard her light growl as she practically pressed against his body. He heard her words and grinned boyishly. "I do love a lot of things but hate quite a lot more." He lifted his hand and brushed her hair back from her face to place it behind her ear.
"I can give as much freedom as you like." He growled softly and huskily. "I never lie and besides you'd know it as well if I were lying. And I never called you a fool. That would be idiotic of me. I do not judge on the first few minutes of meeting someone. It would be foolish of me. In the first few minutes I can tell from speaking with you. You are wild and strong. You are quite independent as well. But... You wish for the closeness but are weary of it. But that is just my opinion. It could be wrong or right but doesn't really matter."
Axelle followed her gaze to two vampires. And then he heard her words and tilted his head. "Think you can get past me, Raven. Because you are doing a fool's ride into the burning flame." He leaned in and whispered. "Take out two and what? You will be dead before they hit the ground. Why not a nice stroll? I will take you to meet one of the people you are looking for and leave you in his capable hands." He was speaking of Dmitrius.
"I must leave you with him while I go and take care of some of my own business." He murmured softly. "But he will be able to point you to where you want to go." He offered his arm to her showing some what how old he was. It was strange for one that looked so young to speak so properly with well thought out words. A few had said it was eerie to look at him. Some of the younger wolves he had passed had said it was like a haunting. They saw a young man but then his mannerisms and words told of just how old he truly was.
"And playtime has just begun. With you and I, dear Raven. Let us go or do you want to continually search for whom you really wish to or play with those you want to torture? Decisions, decisions. I'll be outside for the next five minutes while you decide which one is more important. If you aren't out there in five minutes I will disappear..." With that he turned on his heel and began walking out the door as he whispered a song. "All around the mulberry bush the monkey chased the weasel. The monkey thought twas all in fun... POP goes the weasel!"
He chuckled softly when he got to the door and opened it as he picked up his backpack that had been in the shadows by the door. He walked outside and pulled out a smoke. He lit it and waited across the street.

Her eyes fell away from the vampires and returned their icy gaze back to Axelle. He was a cocky son of a bitch if she'd ever met one. But he's spoken of a Dmitrius ... she had heard of him already. She knew he was the second in the local pack and it made her grudgingly uncomfortable to have to be meeting with another pack. However she still needed to find out if her father was here? She;d had plenty of leads telling her this was where he'd been taken but why? And was he even still alive. She let a low growl leave her throat as memories flashed across her mind.
Her house living room splattered in blood, their things destroyed. She couldn't help the growl she felt rolling in her chest. However, several people around her did seem to notice the growl. Several started to stare, some following her gaze as they followed the two vampires that had entered the club. She felt Axelle's presence move away and was brought back to herself as her hearing picked up the sounds of the people's whispers.
She gave a little sneeze and turned following silently after Axelle's scent. Once outside she ran fingers swiftly through her long black hair and tousled its ends. Her nails dragging along her scalp and neck, she was itching from her wolf rising so close. She needed to run, she was burning with hatred and her teeth wanted nothing more than to slice through flesh. Her blue eyes turned, nearly glowing in the night, to stare at Axelle a few feet away from him.
She walked over to his side and stood her eyes flicking about their surroundings. "Can I get another smoke?" She asked. She needed to kill her sense of smell. She was picking up vampires every where, and food. It wasn't always good having a tracker nose.
(Sorry it took so long to reply and sorry its such a small post -pouts- I'll do better next time. I swear ^.^ )
