A Huntress in disguise stalks the night alone, under the light of the moon with nothing but stars to guide her path…
She had finally made her decision, and in doing so she’d made her plan. After the other night at the bar with Axelle, Raven had found her heart throbbing to be close to her own again. She was not powerful, but she had other skills. She planned to put those skills to use… even if she had to prove herself to the Alpha here.
So she’d made her way into the city again from her little encampment outside of the city. A good location if you were avoiding detection by the local pack. She was walking down a back alley with nothing but her thoughts to entertain her. Her hands buried in her pockets and an unlit cigarette behind her ear. She’d been tracking the local wolves scents, and she had a feeling she’d locate the entrance to the underground soon. It was something odd about her, when she wanted to find something… she found it something inside her pulled her to it. Moon had always told her she was special but she thought maybe he was just being nice to her. He’d always been nice to her.
She paused realizing she was thinking of Moon again and let a low growl out. No it was her decision to make dammit. She pulled the cigarette from behind her ear and lit it furiously with a zippo. She wasn’t going to do this. She’d made her decision and she was going to stick by it. She felt a tug of pain in her heart at the thought of Moon and the others, and for a moment wondered if Moon would sense her deflection and come looking for her. She rolled sapphire blue irises at the thought, of course he wouldn’t… would he? Moon hated the city and had never stepped foot near one, he liked small towns where he could eat as he pleased without the bloodsuckers chasing him and his kin.
She realized her eyes were looking at a grate set into the wall bellow in a drainage pipe and quirked a brow. So that is how they got in and out from the underground. She smirked and laying a hand on the rail beside her easily tossed her body over the rail and landed in the shallow sewage water. Her nose crinkled as she gave a simple growl and clicked her teeth together. ‘No wonder the leeches haven’t found them yet… ‘ She thought with a slight tilt of her head.
“This is going to be a drag†she said more to herself than anyone else. She felt her muscles tighten and her senses sharpen as she started forward into the darkness of the underground world. It only took her about five minutes to figure out that the wolves took various routes through the sewers to further elude the leeches and so she would have to pick one path and follow it. She sighed and let her eyes slide shut and focused on an image, of not only the other wolves but the most dominate of scents. She didn’t want to think alpha, because for some reason she felt it would lead her back to Moon. Then behind the darkness of her eyes she could almost see a thread of shimmering light. She felt a smile pull her lips and opened her eyes “Got cha†She said and then delved down further into her core calling to her wolf, beckoning it out of its dormant state curled with in. She felt the fierce hunger within her the yearning lust for the hunt, the kill, and the feast. But that would have to wait she scolded herself silently as she pulled her wolf closer and closer to the surface.
Suddenly fire spread through her veins, followed closely by pain, but not a pain she was un used to, like a masochist she enjoyed this familiar pain, she could feel her shoulders spreading and her spine lengthening her knees cracking and the velvet fur sprouting from every inch of her body. She let her eyes close as her cloths shredded away. Finally her jaw and skull cracked and split as ears traveled up to the peak.
The transformation only took her a few moments and the pain was brief for her but when she was finished she stood darker than the shadows around her with leering deep blue eyes peering out into that darkness. She growled deeply as the wolf within sniffed out so many unfamiliar scents. She felt like reversing and finding her Alpha… but no… it was time to find company within the city. It was time to seek out Lukias and prove to him that she could be very beneficial to his pack. She snarled and snapped her teeth and picked up the silvery thread within her mind coiled her muscles then sprang down the tunnels leaving her cloths shredded behind her.
The only sound her paws splashing and the soft panting as her lungs labored easily under the fast pace, she may be small but what she lacked in size and strength she more than made up in speed. She enjoyed the feel of the dank air filtering through her soft coat, loved the way her legs pulled her over the vast territory and couldn’t help the soulful howl that lashed past ivory teeth, from the growing sense of ‘Home’ and family that grew within her. She was here and she wanted to be found her howl spoke volumes of her presence ricocheting off the walls and echoing into the darkness before her.
