Vengeance was staring at the two of them with cold eyes. There was no masking his coldness anymore. He had turned the epitome of human in many ways. He lifted his hand to tap his lip as the man began to move away from him as if he knew how bad he could get. The birds moved in and circled the other man leaving the angel defenseless if Vengeance had decided to attack but lucky for the two he wasn't here to kill. Nah, he was here to help for once. He looked up at the sky for a moment and then looked at the birds that surrounded the man and they seemed to probably sense that he wasn't of the human variety. Probably sensed the angel in him really.
He saw the knife as the man pulled it and Vengeance gave him a look as if debating on showing him what he worked with. The sword he played havoc with. Oh how easy that would be. How much fun but no, he wasn't here to cause harm and he watched indifferently as the man fell back down. Vengeance knew how it felt. How many times had he been in the same position protecting Angelique? He watched the woman angel. Keliel had always held an inner sweetness but he knew she could be strong if she wanted to be. But rarely showed it. His eyes stared at her as if picking a course of action. "Fuck this. I don't have time for you to make a decision, sweetness."
He strolled over to the man and lifted holding him like a bride would be held knowing that Keliel would be yelling at him the whole way if he slung the man over his shoulder. He began to walk hearing her shuffle to keep up and telling him off as well. He lifted his shoulders in a shrug. "You need help and you got me. Be glad I am even helping." He made a face at that. "But I am not going to work my magic here." His eyes slid to her to watch her as he walked and sung. Shooting the Moon by Mona. Such a perfect song for him. "You're wide eyed looking for excuse I got a bloodline looking for the root Here you go now the choice is choose Oh no man You got something to lose Acting funny like you have seen it all You got a crown and I'm gonna knock it off King of the castle it's gonna fall fast though Oh no man I got something to prove I am, I am, I am Shooting the moon..."
That song was perfect for him. He gave a soft chuckle as he continued to walk holding the man in his arms as if it were the most natural thing in the world. People looked over even as the woman scurried to keep up with his long legged stride. Finally he made it to home. Lust. He looked over at Keliel. "Home sweet home, babe. Let's get inside before people ask questions that I don't want to answer." His words were a slow and confident drawl. He moved with the man straight to his room and people looked over confused at what Vengeance planned to do. He dropped the man on the bed. Not too roughly but not too gently either. On Vengeance's bed the man lay. "Time for some real fun. Close the damn door, sweet cheeks. We got some work to do." He laughed hard as he saw her close the door and then as if second though struck she locked it.
Vengeance rubbed his hands together as if preparing for the fun of it all. How long had it been? Fucking long time since he played this kind of healing game. He moved to the bed and knelt down on the bed beside the man's body. He looked over the man's body as if contemplating where it would go faster through the man. He looked almost disgusted that he had to use his heavenly gift even. His face shown with no emotion even though he was feeling disgust at having to show the angelic side. He figured the best place to start would be the heart since it pumped the blood throughout the rest of the body. He put his hands hovering over the one side of the chest and ribcage where the heart could be found.
He slowly drew his hands down on the man one placed right above the heart and the other over the wound and looked at the man waiting to see if he would come to before he even started. He could hear Keliel shifting foot to foot before she came over and took the man's hand and squeezed it.
